Do not stay here if you are concerned about Covid! Lobby full with at least 6 customers standing around with no mask on. One girl at reception, completely overwhelmed, rooms not ready for 2 hours past check in time and no one attempting to enforce the mask policy. Unacceptable! read more

The Hampton Inn is close to the airport, which matters to us, since we flew in. They offered a good room at a reasonable price. The breakfast was similar to those at other Hampton's, but better. The beds are just fine. Also good shower and bath facilities. No. Contrary to other old reviews, there were no bed bugs. The bed, and the room, was clean and fully functional. This accommodation is infested with Bed Bugs! I woke up at 4 am while being ravaged. I had bites on my head, face, neck, hands, ankles & feet. I captured one and brought it down to the front desk. The manager shrugged her shoulders and walked away. My automated Hampton Inn review invitation was "pulled". read more

BED BUGS, BED BUGS, BED BUGS. Last year I stayed at this location and was bitten all over my body from BED BUGS. Spoke to the front desk about the BED BUGS before I went to work and was assured it would be looked into/ taken care of. After work I spoke with the people at the front desk to see if they had found the BED BUGS and what actions they had taken. The lady at the front desk said that maintenance and hotel manger check for BED BUGS and they could not find any. I went up to my room only to find my bedding on the floor with only the pillows on my bed. Furious I called a friend of mine to vent my frustrations, while I was on the phone a BED BUG crawls out of the pillow case from the pillows still on my bed. I picked up BED BUG and took it down to the front desk to show them that I indeed had a problem with BED BUGS. The girl at front desk said "that's not a BED BUG " so I google pictures of BED BUGS to show her it indeed was a BED BUG. Mean while telling her it was not pleasant to have any bugs in my bed. After proving by the picture from the net that it was a BED BUG she stepped into the office to talk to her manager by phone. She came out and said you can switch rooms. I packed up and moved hotels. The staff is very unprofessional and rude. Would never recommend staying at this location to anybody. Spoke with a friend who is working at the Sinclair refinery today 7/09/15 and he said he took a bed bug down to the front desk this morning. We had a WONDRRFUL stay here. Got a great deal, comfy beds, clean room, yummy breakfast (with a topping bar for our waffles ). The staff was incredible courteous! We plan on making this hotel our yearly stopping point for our summer road trip! Thanks Hampton Inn!! read more

I booked this hotel, from afar, for my father who's driving cross-country to get back home. He's a baby boomer and doesn't get out much. The staff (Lesa V.) was so extremely accommodating with me on the phone and then so incredibly kind to my father when he arrived. When he arrived, he didn't have any cell service, so the receptionist (Maddy) let me father use her personal cell phone to call me. She helped him get set up on wi-fi, so he would be able to communicate with me that way. Then, when he got to the room, the bath tub was missing the drain plug. My dad called and they fixed it immediately. Lastly, he called me this morning and said the free breakfast was "absolutely delicious". He went on and on about how great the customer service was while he was there. That made me so happy to know my dad was being treated with such respect. Customer service is hard to find these days! Our road trip was not going as planned as we thought in April this year. We thought we could drive through the night but by 2:00 a.m. we knew we needed to stop. We called a couple hotels in the area before we called Hampton Inn and they were not very friendly. By the time we called Hampton Inn, we were super stressed. Marquis answered the phone and went above and beyond to help us out. We really appreciated what he did for us. Great experience. read more

Wow, this was our first time staying at a Hampton Inn and it just happened to be in Rawlins WY. I've done my share of traveling for business and with the family and I have to say this is one of the nicest hotels (in this price range) that I have ever stayed in. We loved the layout of the family suite, the breakfast was great, the pool area was perfect for the family and above all, it was clean and the staff was friendly and all I can say is that I hope it stays that way (so that my review lasts the test of time). One minor issue (though it didn't affect us) was that there was a strong gas smell on the first floor. If my room would have been there I would have immediately asked for a different room. Maybe it wasn't gas but it for sure wasn't a pleasant smell. Management, get that taken care of and then continue to do what you're doing because it's great. read more

My fiancé and I were driving through to California. We had a 2 day drive so we had to stop somewhere in Wyoming. We chose Rawlins, and this hotel had good reviews so we stopped here. This hotel was pet friendly which made me a little nervous because sometimes pet friendly hotels can be dirty or smell. We booked thru snaptravel and got the cheapest room which was a handicap accessible room with a king bed. The room was really big! It was clean, roomy, had WiFi, tv, bed was comfy. The fitted sheet on the mattress seemed to be a tad too small tho as it kept flipping up off the mattress. I don't know if they just ran out of king sheets but it was a little weird. The continental breakfast was actually really good. They have a waffle station which was awesome. I usually find myself leaving hotel "breakfasts" still hungry and having to stop for more food soon after. But that big waffle filled me up. They have the rest of the usual options (bagels, cereal, yogurt, fruit, etc) but they also had some really yummy scrambled eggs with cheese and ham. Overall I was happy with the stay, it was a nice hotel. Close to the Walmart and some food options. I've stayed at hotels in other parts of Wyoming that were kinda run down, so I paid a little extra to stay somewhere I felt comfortable and I'm so glad I did. Only complaint is I got a 25$ charge after I left and I don't know why. Our cat left no mess and we cleaned up after ourselves well. read more
