The tv did work unfortunately the volume on it was terrible we had it at 40. The a/c did make noise all night. I didn't realize there was a crack in the door and left a gap where you could see out into the hallway. I shoved a towel in it and it really made me nervous to stay in our room. I did order DoorDash that night and went outside and saw a homeless in the middle of the road talking to himself, there were other homeless around the area as well. I really wish the hotel had the doors limited access at night to where you need a key to open and close the doors. Also the elevator allowed anyone to use it all day long, and most hotels now you have to tap your room key to use the elevator. I did notice that there's not a lot of places nearby or within walking distance so you definitely need a car or use a ride share to get around.

Instead, we were told there was no room available for us. The front desk employee simply kept repeating that they didn't have a room and told us to contact Airbnb for a refund, without offering any real solution, assistance, or alternative accommodation. How can a business accept and confirm reservations, take customers' money, and then fail to honor those reservations when guests arrive? This demonstrates a serious failure in management, organization, and customer service. Being stranded in the middle of the night after a long drive because of a hotel's mistake is completely unacceptable. Customers should never have to deal with this kind of stress after planning and paying for their trip well in advance. To make matters worse, the overall condition of the property was disappointing, and the lobby had an unpleasant odor that only added to the poor experience. I strongly advise others to think twice before booking here. Unless this issue is fully resolved with a prompt refund and appropriate reimbursement for the additional expenses we were forced to incur, I will continue sharing this experience across multiple review platforms to warn future travelers. No traveler should ever arrive at 3:00 AM with a confirmed reservation only to be told there is no room available.

It's located in a hotel district alongside brands like DoubleTree by Hilton, Motel 6, Hampton Inn, Fairfield by Marriott, and Sonesta ES Suites, yet despite all these hotels, the area felt strangely deserted. By 8:00 PM, there wasn't a single restaurant open nearby except for a Denny's. Upon arrival, I had to pay a $20 parking fee through my phone. There was no option to charge the parking to my lodging or even include it on the same invoice. My room on the second floor was a decent size and looked clean, but there was a loud, constant noise coming from a wood-framed corner--likely a central air conditioning pipe. To make matters worse, the entire room had a very obvious, unpleasant odor that smelled like sweaty feet. I initially thought they had simply forgotten to provide bottled water, but when I asked the front desk on my way out to dinner, they told me that complimentary water is not included in the room fare. I have never encountered a hotel like this, especially one from such a famous hotel group. The hotel seems to be proud of its free breakfast, which is served in a clean cafeteria, but it was a total disappointment. There was no real bacon, no sausage, and no fried eggs. The only meat available was precut turkey Canadian bacon, which was essentially like bologna with hard, unchewable edges. All the food was plain and tasteless; the orange juice tasted like powder mixed with water, and even the coffee was weak and lukewarm, poured from a thermos. Unfortunately, the breakfasts $25 per person and parking costs $25 per night. I appreciated staff member Mary at the front desk who gave us a break on the parking. We brought our own food, snacks, breakfasts, milks, cereal, yogurts, fruit, etc. They do have a pool and next time I will give a whirl.

To my absolute disbelief, the police were waiting for me when I returned and I was arrested for trespassing. Yes, arrested. Over a situation that should have never escalated anywhere near that level. While things were eventually resolved, the entire incident left me shaken. It genuinely felt like the hotel was trying to set me up or escalate the situation intentionally rather than handle it professionally or reasonably. This was beyond poor service it was a disturbing and unacceptable experience. I would strongly warn others to think twice before staying here.

They do not have a lounge. The king bedroom suite in the tower is quite comfortable. There was a separate living space, full bedroom, full bathroom and a small bar area that has a small refrigerator in the cabinet underneath. We were always greeted when we entered and depart the property as we walked by the front desk. Very nice staff. Location was great, it was close by two the 101 freeway. There are a few eateries and Starbucks across the street.

Our room was clean with a living space area and a comfortable King bed. Slept like a baby. Bathroom is spacious inside and shower had good water pressure. There are two on-site restaurants and a bar/lounge, coffee shop/cafe. Breakfast is available. There is also a beautiful garden onsite. Came here for a one night stay to attend California's Great America (located nearby)…read more Got to the hotel around 5pm and check in was smooth and easy. They require a $200 deposit so provided my credit card. Front desk let me know if I was a Marriott Bonvoy member if I give them the number and they add it to my reservation I will get credit for stay (if you stay x amount of nights I think you earn free nights) even though my reservation was booked through a 3rd party (this was not the case with my previous nights stay with another major hotel chain). Got to our room which was flooded with light from the windows and the lights being on. Kidlet changed into swim suit and headed to the pool. We had the pool to ourselves. Kidlet went back and forth between pool and hot tub. A few people came down to hot tub later. Went back upstairs for showers and to located dinner. The shower is one of those open showers which I am not a fan of but it worked. The bath products are lavender and eucalyptus which I was surprised by as they are two overwhelming, very strong scents (they trigger migraines for me personally) so I did not use them. I had my own soap, shampoo and conditoner. The one thing the bathroom did not have that I was surprised by was a liquid hand soap. The soap in there was bar soap which just feels unsanitary. I usually travel with my own liquid soap but this was a quick trip with not a lot of space so I had packet my soap sheets instead. Used those instead. The bed, pillows and couch were comfy as were the stools in the kitchen. We picked up food and at ate the kitchen counter watching tv. There was bedding for the sofa bed in the closet. The next day went down to break fast . They had oatmeal, congee, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, muffins, eggs, potatoes, frittatas, cereal, waffle makers, juice, coffee and hot water for tea. Packed up and checked out. Asked if they store luggage, as we had an SUV with no trunk cover and I didn't want the rental to get broken into. They tagged our luggage gave us claim checks and we were off. Coming back to the hotel to pick up luggage was a breeze and we used the restroom for kidlet to change out of wet clothes for the ride to the airport. A wonderful stay in a clean, quiet hotel. I would stay here again. This stay was so nice it has me reconsidering staying at Marriott from now on vs my other go to hotel chain.

I arrived after 9:30 PM, check-in was quick, and the property looked well maintained. My room was spotless, and the bed was extremely comfortable. After a long day with my team, I got a great night's sleep. Unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ended. I woke up around 4:40 AM to finish preparing for a two-hour presentation I was giving later that morning. After working on my laptop for a few minutes, the power in the sleeping/couch area went out. I found the electrical panel in the room and reset the breaker. The power came back on, but only for a few minutes before it tripped again. I reset it four different times with the same result. Eventually, I gave up. I decided I'd take a shower, check out, and finish my work in the hotel lobby instead. The shower wasn't much better. Even with the temperature turned all the way to hot, it took more than a minute before the water was warm enough to get in. By the end of the shower, it was only lukewarm. As I was leaving the room, the door wouldn't close because the deadbolt had partially extended. I had to go back inside, work the handle until it retracted, and then leave again. The most disappointing part of the stay came at checkout. I explained that I was checking out early because the power kept going out in my room. The only response I received was, "Do you want your receipt printed?" There was no apology, no follow-up questions, and no indication that anyone intended to investigate the problem. I worked in the lobby until it was time to meet my colleagues. When they showed up at 8 AM, I told them about my experience that morning. Another guest overheard my conversation and said they had also experienced only lukewarm water that morning, so my shower experience wasn't an isolated one. Will I stay here again? No. There are several other Marriott properties nearby, and next time I'll choose one of them.
