They have only 11 locations, and I wish they open more, especially on the East coast. It is a true home suite hotel, from the elegant decor to the friendly staff. My room key didn't work on the first trial every time. I had to go down to the front desk at least once. Other than that, this is a great hotel.

This is an older hotel, never heard of it prior and thought we would give it a try. I booked a studio with queen bed, the room was equipped with full cooking utensils and cutleries. Also had a full size refrigerator, that was a little on the older side and it was a bit loud when it does what a refrigerator does lol. Decent size bathroom, equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash and lotion. This came in handy since we forgot our body wash at home. Plenty of parking out front. We thought it was odd that there was only 1 ice machine to service the entire building which consisted of 4 floors of rooms. The amenities included washer & dryer, you pay of course. It's in a good location close to multiple shopping center such as Michael's, Walmart, BigAls and many eateries. For those traveling with low budget this is a good hotel. No swimming or jacuzzi but a decent fitness room.

My fur baby named Honey loves that adorable towel dog sculpture that the staff made. We love it

I travel to the bay area just about every week. I often choose to stay at larkspur landing hotels because of the amenities and the price. This was my first visit at Milpitas, I have to say it's not my favorite I much prefer the location in Campbell, however it was OK. Spacious living area tiny bedroom open kitchen. Not the cleanest room I've been in. No luggage carts available either on check in or check out which was a bit of a struggle for me because I travel heavy lol. I happen to know that the manager Sean Is an awesome person and would take seriously any problems Anyone might have. Most of the staff was very nice. Don't hesitate to stay at any of the locations. Including a picture of the air vent in the bedroom Which definitely needed some attention.

I went up to the mainland to attend a family wedding last weekend, and upon arriving in the bay area, I booked a hotel in the Milpitas neighborhood called the Larkspur Landing. How did I know about this hotel? Truthfully I didn't, but my sister folks had stayed here in the past, so I had asked her how was her stay, and she gave me positive feedback. The Larkspur Landing hotel is not too far from the Mineta San Jose airport (I wanna say it was about 6 miles away or so). Although the hotel is not too far from the airport, don't worry gang, the hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood where you won't hear any airplanes fly over, and the beauty of this hotel is that it is situated close to several strip malls where you can get something to eat if you're hungry, close to shops if you had forgotten some items while traveling, and if you have to go anywhere, the on/off ramp of the freeway is close by so you can jump on quickly. A few nice things about this hotel - 1. Free PARKING! Now days, most hotels charge you for parking, but this hotel offered free parking, and to top it off, there was ample parking available. 2. Free BREAKFAST! Well, kinda free...........while I was booking my room, I picked the room rate that included the breakfast package. When I say breakfast, I'm not talkin' about someone throwing down a box of donuts, & offering you some coffee! Lol! This hotel provided a full scale breakfast, as they offered drinks like -coffee, juices, & milk. They also offered toast, muffins, pastries, pancakes, waffles, eggs & some kinda "meat" entree each day. Dry cereal, oatmeal, fresh fruit, & yogurt were also offered. 3. Free NEWSPAPER - there was a stack of newspaper in the lobby everyday, and you can help yourself to a newspaper to keep up with current events. 4. Laundry Room - I noticed that this hotel had a laundry room with washers & dryers. When I use to travel for business (in the mainland), I would stay on the mainland for weeks at a time (but I would only bring up 1 week worth of clothes), so having a hotel that provides amenities like a washer & dryer is invaluable, as I would wash my own clothes over the weekend. 5. Exercise/ Workout Room & Whirlpool Spa - This hotel also had a small exercise/workout room, as well as a small whirlpool spa. I did not partake in any of these amenities, as I was pretty busy doing other stuff while I was up here, so I didn't have the time to check it out. 6. Business Center - I saw a small business center by the lobby area, if you need to check on something, and need to print out say an airline ticket or document, they provided some computers & printers here. 7. Room - Our hotel room was quite spacious, and they provided free wireless internet service (wifi), as well as a full sized fridge, stove, microwave, an office desk to do your Yelp reviews on (Lol!), large flat screen T.V., centralized A/C, hairdryer, ironing board & iron. The Larkspur Landing hotel has got your covered here! No doubt! Overall I had a pleasant and wonderful stay here, and would tell you that I would not hesitate to come back to this hotel property and stay here again! Now you must be wondering if I had such a good stay at this hotel, why a "4", instead of a "5"? Basically I had to dock a point because one day, we did not get maid service............... I don't know what happened that day, but after the maids skipped service on our room that day, I walked to another wing on our floor to flag down the maid to tell her that they had missed our room. Unfortunate for me, the maid I had contact with told me that she did not speak English, and unfortunate for me, since I don't know Spanish, I probably could not get my message across to her. I tried to tell her that they had forgotten to service our room, and thought she had understood what I said, as she asked me to write down my room number on this folder, but after coming back to our room that evening, the room was not served. Darn it! No big deal, but what I really needed was some clean towels, so I had to go downstairs that evening and ask the clerk who was at the front desk for new fresh towels. The African American lady working at the front desk was friendly, & efficient, as she took my request, then shortly later came to my room to drop off some new clean towels. Great service! Again, if you're ever in the Milpitas area and need a hotel..........you should really check out this property, as the pricing per night was very competitive, and the hotel provided a lot of free amenities. MAHALO Larkspur Landing!

Despite that, I loved this Residence Inn, very great convenient location, staff are super friendly and the parking is FREE!! I originally had another place in mind near the airport but the parking fee $25. x4 days which I saved by switching our hotel over here. Coming back late at night we had no problems with finding a parking spot, we were lucky to find a spot close to our room. Lets talk about the breakfast that I read great things about, it is true from the reviews, really Wow! staying here for 4 days, I was worried we would get sick of eating the same items but I can see they have different selections, I can see the staff working so hard, when preparing the daily complimentary breakfast & happy to see there is rice, furikake and miso soup! Reminds me of another Marriott when we stayed at Hillsboro, OR. Breakfast staff are so friendly, they greet you with a smile, I can feel the joy and love, while enjoying our breakast. 5 Stars! I loved our room, it is very spacious! Enough for the 4 of us, My hubby and I, My son and his friends. We sure made use of and utilized the stove, dining table, and fridge. We were here for a film festival out in Gilroy for few days and staying here was convenient for us. Also close proximity to Silicon Valley companies, Cisco System and ScanDisk. Near Great Mall, 10 miles from SJC! Thank you wonderful staff, I look forward to staying here again! Totally recommend!

The atrium is a great place to sit, relax, enjoy a glass of wine, and unwind after a long day. It really has the feel of a much higher-end hotel. Unfortunately, the guest room was a different story. For the price of the room, I expected much better attention to cleanliness and maintenance. The carpet had numerous stains throughout the room and looked like it hadn't been deep cleaned in quite some time. The couch cushions were visibly stained, the tile floors were dirty with scuff marks and grime, and even the cabinet surfaces showed stains and wear. These weren't isolated issues--they were noticeable throughout the room. Overall, this hotel has a lot of potential. The common areas are attractive, the staff was pleasant, and the atmosphere is relaxing. However, the condition and cleanliness of the guest rooms don't match the image the hotel presents when you first walk in. I hope management invests in deep cleaning and refreshing the rooms because this property could easily be a four- or five-star experience with better housekeeping and maintenance.

I stayed here while attending a concert at Levi's Stadium and was pleasantly surprised, especially for the value. We had a room with two queen beds that was much more spacious than I expected. It also had a kitchen with a full-size refrigerator and cooking area. I didn't use the kitchen since we were only there for the concert, but it would be great for families or a longer stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was probably my biggest surprise. I normally don't expect much from hotel breakfast buffets and try to get there early before everybody's hands have touched everything. They had the usual self-serve items like waffles, breads and fruit, but they also had someone preparing eggs and serving bacon and potatoes. They even had healthier options like quinoa and salad. And the coffee deserves a mention! They had regular hotel coffee plus an espresso machine. If you know me, you know I love my coffee, so that was definitely a plus. I'm not saying run over here just to eat breakfast , but for a complimentary hotel breakfast, it was actually very good and added a lot of value to the stay. Another big plus if you're staying here for an event at Levi's Stadium is the nearby VTA light rail. I wish I had known about that option before our concert! Overall, this was a good value with a spacious room, kitchen, better-than-expected breakfast, good coffee and convenient access to transportation. I would definitely consider staying here again for another event at Levi's Stadium. -- Popcorn Travels

Make sure you enter the correct address in your gps accordingly. It was a comfortable stay, with plenty of free parking. There is a large entrance with lots of tables and chairs to hangout and lots of lounges throughout the hotel grounds to sit outside and enjoy coffee or just the sun. We were kindly allowed in our room early as our flight arrived around 12pm and we got to the hotel at 1pm. The hotel is situated next to the freeway with the back of the hotel right against a hillside where people exit the freeway. Being on the first floor, and being able to see the off ramp just gave me uncomfortable vibes. My wild imagination, painted a picture of someone getting out of their car, walking down the small hill and trying to enter my room. I asked to switch to another room and was granted this with no push back. I really appreciate that. The hotel itself is within walking distance of so many restaurants including IN N OUT. If you did not have a car this would be a very practical location. Our room was on the first floor with vaulted ceilings. Despite this, the walls are very thin. I am not sure if the people above us were playing hide and seek. But there was lots of running around and stomping as they walked. So if you're staying in the first floor be aware it can be loud. Pros about the room: -Includes a microwave, mini refrigerator, and Keurig coffee machine -lots of drawers including 3 in the open closet and underneath the tv -small bench built into the tv cabinet, great for putting your luggage -large counter space in the bathroom -lots of lighting options -two hooks for towels (not sure why more hotels don't do this they only offer 1 hook if any) -Crabtree and Evelyn bath products which smelled nice) -breakfast buffet offered but not included unless you pay for it.
