Called Hampton Nursery to get trees installed plus some plants. They didn't ask about my irrigation so when two of the trees started dying within weeks, they blamed me. Perhaps the "experts" should ask about irrigation up front and not install trees if there isn't an adequate water supply. They don't stand by their work (no warranty) plus overcharged me and didn't return emails or calls to the office. Buyer Beware! read more

I just moved to the area and wanted to plant some plants today. The person attending tried to help but as he realized I didn't know anything about plants he rudely say that I should go online and look up what I wanted first. I finally left and didn't buy anything, I wouldn't buy anything from someone who is not willing to put a little effort in the sale, maybe he is too rich already. Sadly, this could have been a 500 sale for him. Never coming back though. read more

If I could give zero I would .... May 7, 2017 I bought $54.20 worth of perennials. One for $13.99 and 6 for $5.99. All 6 at 5.99 DIED & I saved 2 of them & brought them back, as their was something left to the root. The others I just trashed for dirt. July early to mid, I go back with the 2 dead plants PLUS RECEIPT spoke the a 40 something women dark brown short hair. I explained I bought 6 all died I was just looking for a REPLACEMENT for the two plants, only really wanted an astilbe for $10. She was soooo rude wouldn't even look at my receipt, cut me off " we don't refund or replace plants, how do I know you didn't plant it in the wrong spot. Or didn't water it. Blah blah blah " I tried to reason with her but to no avail, as everyone knows EVEN HOME DEPOT REFUNDS DEAD PLANTS. She could care less, a man did feel bad & looked for the same plant but none were there. So I stuck with really 6 dead plants, just 2 to prove. Mind you these were the little 3 or 4 inch plants. YOU ARE GOING TO TELL ME OUT OF THIS WHOLE NURSERY THIS WOMEN BEHIND THE CASH REGISTER COULD NOT REPLACE 2 little plants For the $35.94 I spent on these perennials. THE WHOLE PLACE NEARING MID SUMMER 2 LITTLE PLANTS FOR $36. HORRIBLE, DISGRACEFUL, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. even 2 Marigolds would have done it for me at the time. So I walked out in shock, all this stock & you couldn't satisfy a customer with a $10.00 plant ...... I wasn't looking for my money back ...... Or the 6 plants back ..... Or even a $12.00 plant ..... Just a little something ..... BEWARE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE ...... CUSTOMER SATISFACTION ..... MOST IMPORTANT ... BEWARE OF THEIR PLANTS & TREES .... IMAGINE IF I BOUGHT SOMETHING SUBSTANTIAL IN VALUE ...... this was only 2 little PERENNIALS FOR $12.00. This is how mad I was at this place, too much other competition to bother with them. read more

Have been buying most of my general landscape materials from these guys for many years now (15+) - Always wonderful quality, customer service and the pricing is the best in the Hamptons for sure!! Also, have been buying fire wood here for the last 5-6 years. Exceptional wood- never a problem- always good, clean, nice burning wood and really fair pricing. Delivery crew is always professional and courteous (in particular-Joe). Stacking and clean up- always a great job. We've been customers of this business for over thirty years- bought not just plants and small items but trees and shrubs and soil. But over the last year we've found them to be increasingly rude to customers. Today my husband went to buy compost, as he has before. He took the pickup truck, and brought a tarp and tools so he could shovel the stuff into the truck ( our pickup has a cap so they can't use the machine). He was prepared to do it all himself, as he has before. Today, there was a "problem", and they would not let him load it. Note that he had already paid for the material, and already carried two bags of manure out to the truck - with no offer of help from anyone, although there were people hanging around and watching. Would like to point out that my husband is over 70. Note that the rudeness doesn't extend to everybody- the woman at the counter today was super-nice and obviously distressed by the attitudes on display. But good manners and customer service starts at the top, wit management. read more

Excellent products helpful staff. They did a wonderful planting job at my house,also did the irrigation system everything came out so magnificent .We have been doing business with them for many years they just completed a deer fence,three sides of my property because the deer eating some foliage and they carry ticks that causes Lyme disease it's getting to be an epidemic in the area I know people that have the disease. read more
