I was extremely happy Hampton Park Animal hospital. I made my appt with Sandy who was extremely knowledgeable on all my question. Sandy was so pleasant and ever so sweet to my kitten. I had him declawed and neutered and he was kept over night . Sandy kept in contact with me throughout the day and evening. Their prices were extremely fair and felt we were in great hands! unfortunately I never did meet the vet. read more

I'm not sure the doctor actually does a thorough exam when you bring your pet in. For example, he makes it appear as if he's checking your dogs ear when in fact, he just brings it up to the ear without sticking it in. read more

Worse vet ever. We thought we would try because they are close to our home. Took our cat there because she was scratching her fur off. Doctor didn't care to even touch her, just said give her this liquid medication and she will be fine. When we got home, we noticed the medication was expired. When I took medication back to the Vet, lady at desk was rude and said medicine never expires. She argued with me and finally replaced it with new. Will never go back, this place is horrible. read more

This is hands down the best place to take your furbabies! The staff are absolutely amazing and Dr R is a fantastic veterinarian! I have 3 cats and we had a medical scare which could have ultimately cost Milo his life and we called and they took my lil guy in immediately and took fantastic care of him and did not overcharge us or anything! There isn't a price for their lives as we know as fur parents etc but the level of concern and knowledge and warmth you receive here is amazing! My furbabies only love their mom and dad and to see the warmth and care they shared with our furbabies confirmed this is the only place they will go to! If I could give it a million stars I would!! If you need your furbabies taken care of with a genuine warmth and the upmost knowledge then I recommend these guys!! He saved my lil buddies life and I'm forever grateful!! Please do not use this vet. Place is awful Dr reedy should not be practicing veterinarian medicine. His staff is ok but as a vet he is SO un professional all he cares about is giving your pet medicine and sending them home. Never doing any blood work or any other test. I am so sorry I took my beagle there and she had to go thru the pain of not being diagnosed properly. I had to take her to another vet to find out what was going on. Had to put her down if she would have been diagnosed sooner who knows. Dr reddy staff gave me other vets to go too so even they don't think he knows what he is doing. This is the second review and it is not a good one. Thisis not a veterinarian who cares about animals I have been going there for a long time even though i had my doubts but i will never go back their again.The receptionist is also not very nice and if you call to ask a question about the treatment of your animal she says ill call you back after i ask the vet and never does. I do not want to go into great detail but i had to take my dog to another vet and was told everything they did was wrong . All they seem to care about is sucking as much money out of you as they can and send you on your way. Never a follow up call and had to go elsewhere for something they should have fixed. read more

I brought my cat in here for services, they treated it as conjunctivitis they gave us medicine and sent us home. Less than a few hours later, my cat suffered from a stroke and passed away. I'm not sure how this doctor wasn't able to diagnose this sooner. I was told by the staff I can bring in the medicine for a refund, since this all happened on the same day and they would give me a call back. It has been over a week now, still no refund or a call back. At this point I don't ever want to deal with this facility again. It's not about the money, it's the principle. read more

DO NOT USE THIS VET. Our poor lab went through hell because of this vet. We had to go back every day for 7 days straight because she was not healing. She was spaded and had an ear surgery. It took her having a bloody liquid coming from her sutures for us to go to an emergency vet. Thank god we did because this vet tested for viruses and come to find out she was infected with MRSA!!! After a serious round of antibiotics, she was finally on the mend. Save yourself time, money and stress and avoid this doctor. read more

Very unprofessional and cuts corners. I took my cat here to get spade in January of 2017. Every few months after the surgery l my cat would act like she was in heat (rolling & howling days at a time).My cat was obviously uncomfortable and I informed the vet multiple times. I even showed him videos of her behaviors. I told him I researched her behaviors & that she might still be in heat due to not taking out the ovaries completely (Human error... I get it)His response was always "see if it happens again and come back." That's exactly what I did for over a year and his response would always be the same. In November 2017 I have the record note saying "acting like she's in heat" He eventually said if it happens again I'll open her up to see what's going on FOR FREE. The heat behaviors continued to happen and he kept blowing me off. It's now Oct 2018 and we now live in Rhode Island. I took my cat to Coventry Animal Hospital and in the first 5 minutes the vet asked me if she was spade. And I told him that she was in January 2017. He then continued to say that her rolling and howling may be because she is still in heat & that the vet might have clamped too high and left some of the ovary. He scheduled a surgery and I immediately contacted Hampton Park to inform them of this and asked if they would cover the costs. Hampton park did not want to take blame and said Coventry vet was wrong. I told him I would have Coventry vet contact him after the surgery. Fast forward to surgery day. My cat DID have an ovary that needed to be removed. Coventry vet saved the ovary for proof if I needed it. Hampton park was contacted and we asked if not the whole cost to be covered at least partial. He said the price was outrageous and said he would not pay. We informed him that the Coventry vet has the ovary and we can get it tested to confirm if that's what he needed. Hampton park said do what you want but we aren't paying you AND HUNG UP. I apologize for the length but, I wish I knew what kind of vet he was before I trusted him with my pet. This vet has great costs (that's what attracted me) but CUTS CORNERS. A roughly $300 spay ended up costing me about $650 in the end. Along with the discomfort my cat has had to live with for almost two years. read more

This place is awesome. My dog, who is very high strung, was in beyond desperate need of having her nails cut. Dr Reddy gave me some doggy downers to give my Molly before her appointment, and let me tell you she was like butter in Dr Reddy, and his assistant Allie's hands. I love this place! All of our dogs are rescued senior citizens. Dr. Reddy has given nothing but exceptional care for all our dogs, even bringing a couple from near death illnesses. Dr. Reddy doesn't give more than what the animal actually needs; we never have to worry about unnecessary testings that most vets require just to elevate their regular exam costs. If I could give less than 1 star I would. My dog was born with 1 undescended testicle as well as a hernia. Dr. Reddy said he would remove the descended testicle, repair the hernia, and look for the missing testicle for just under $500. Well, you get what you pay for. I was told my dog did not have a 2nd testicle and instead of using stitches to close my dogs incision from his scrotum his belly button, Dr. Reddy stapled the incision to the shaft of my puppy's penis. The horror does not end there, 6 months pass and the incision still did not completely close. I finally brought him to a different vet and surgery needed to be performed. Not only did the 2nd testicle exist but it was found within 15 minutes. Also, Dr. Reddy must have mistaken dissolvable sutures for string because diseased tissue and internal "stitches" needed to be removed from his "repaired" hernia. Once I confronted Dr. Reddy he started screaming at me, practically calling me a bad dog mom. I'm not sure what online program he got his veterinary degree from but it needs to be revoked. Brought my cat here because he was limping. The doctor didn't even want to look at my cat or touch him. They gave him a sedative just to give an xray- he was out for 2 hours and threw up after because i was not notified prior to not feed him. The doctor said he did not have a fracture in his hip but i thought he may be wrong since my cat had been limping for 2 weeks already. I waited about 10 days and the limping hadnt gone away so i took him to another vet. they had to re xray and the vet said there was in fact a fracture and he needed surgery. When comparing the 2 xrays the vet said he had already lost muslce mass in those 10 days. Shame on this vet!! I spent over $200 for a bad diagnosis, will not be back! read more

Dr. Reddy is a rude, ignorant and not fit to be a vet. I took my dog to get spayed a week and a half ago. He put dissolvable stitches on her. She then started bleeding on Tuesday and it was not little drops, but enough to have us concerned to bring her back to have him take a look at her to make sure that her stitches didn't bust or to check out why she was bleeding. He told us, that she was too active and he didn't see anything wrong. On Friday she was bleeding out and her stomach was hanging out. Took her right back and he had us wait over a half hour before he took her in because he was doing dental work on another dog and thought that was priority over my dog bleeding to death and barely breathing. When he did take her and as my younger daughter and I were crying because we didn't want to loose our dog, he was blaming us. He said that we took her cone off and we caused it to happen to her. What!? I could not believe that he could say such a thing. He was so ignorant! Never ever will I go back again. He did not care if my dog was going to die, he just kept telling us you take the blame for this. Maybe, he should of checked her out better the 2nd time when we returned when she was bleeding and made sure that his stitch work wasn't going to bust because I think that is why it all happened. He stinks as a vet and I thank GOD for my dog making it thru, not him. I wanted to give this ZERO stars, but it wouldn't let me. read more
