We were referred to Eola Point last year after rescuing our dog. They were incredibly patient, kind, and so helpful in navigating pet ownership to a new dog with fear aggression issues. I was nervous for our first visit since I didn't know how exactly our new dog would react to the environment. Even before our visit, the front staff was very thorough on the phone and listened to all of my concerns. Of course safety is top priority- but it really stood out to me that they didn't even know us yet and they took the time to get to know us and our situation. When we explained our experiences thus far in our initial visit, I left feeling truly heard and I knew we found a vet that is treating both the pets and people with compassion and respect! 8 months later, we continue our care here because they have remained exactly who they are since our first steps in. My cat is cute as a button but turns very hostile when she goes to the vet. I'm talking angelic to demonic in seconds. The terrifying sounds that she makes alone send chills down my spine. Dr. Rybicki and her vet techs were very brave and did the best they could with her. Dr. Rybicki was very nice and informative on her diagnosis. She happily answered all my questions and left a good impression. The staff here are nice, from the initial phone call to check out at the office. My cat has felt better since her vet visit. We have been bringing our dog here since we first brought him home a year ago and are very happy. The pricing is reasonable, and we have shopped around to compare and the difference in pricing is minimal compared to the cheapest places. It's very convenient that they are open later in the evening on some days as well as open on Saturday mornings and we've never had an issue getting a quick appointment if our pup is sick. The office itself is clean, and the girls that work there are great. If we have taken our dog there due to Sickness they always call the next day and following days to check up on him and see how he is doing which really shows they care and I truly appreciate that. I definitely recommend them to anyone in the area. read more

We recently have just moved away from the area, but if it means anything to whoever reads this, I wish we had Eola Point here. I say that only because Eola Point was always amazing to us & our dogs, & I'm picky about their care. The staff & doctors are friendly & professional, & they'll work with you towards the best care for your pet(s) without trying to sell you a bunch of add-on's that aren't necessary. As an example, they found an undiagnosed issue for years with one of our dogs that once treated, almost instantly improved his health (thyroid). They've even stayed a little late before so I could pick up a medication, but was stuck in traffic coming out of Chicago. I highly recommend Eola Point... Dr Withers I find it interesting that after 36 hours at the emergency vet they got Charlie's situation stabilized and under control. You had 5 days after your surgery and couldn't do it. As far as me not following post op procedures why did Charlie heal so well after his surgery at the emergency vet if I'm such a poor care giver?? You never once called me after you hung up on me to find out about Charlie, how he was doing, or resolving this mess you created. I cracked your false facade that you put on to your customers when I told you that the emergency vet was appalled by Charlie's obvious condition. By the way I administered three pills a day to Charlie for two weeks after being treated at the emergency vet with no problems. I don't know what you are talking about. I adopted my first dog, Levi, in 2016 and took him here. It's a small, quaint operation with 2 waiting rooms and two vets (I don't know how many techs there were). Even though it may seems small, it is very efficient and the staff is very good! I love the staff the and the doctors. Everyone is very knowledgeable and I feel comfortable talking to not only the dr, but also the techs about my dog's needs. Dr. Withers and Dr. Rybicki (sp? Sorry!) and very nice, personable, caring, and love animals. Both Dr's are great and listen to you and your needs for your pet. Just recently, we found out Levi had cancer when he went for an annual physical and an xray check that the Dr offered for free (Levi could not walk after the visit. It was because it was so nervous and stressed out from the visit. Dr did it just in case and wanted to make sure he was ok. That is great patient care!). If it was not for that xray, we would not have known that Levi had cancer. Sadly, Levi passed a few weeks after. I told the staff and they sent a condolence card. It was soo sweet! Just recently, I adopted 2 two dogs and brought them to here (of course!). I would not take them anywhere else. The techs and Dr's are the best. I can't say enough good things about this place and then staff. They really treat your pet as if they are one of their own. I highly recommend Eola Pointe Animal Hospital!! read more

UPDATE: Thank you for the explanation about how your voicemail works. I'm confounded though...we have a voicemail but we don't really check it because we specifically say on the voicemail call XXXX and XXXX for emergencies? Voicemail is meant to be checked...no excuses. Unless you specifically state on said voicemail "we do not check this regularly." Seems like a cop-out excuse to me. Either that or you don't need the business so you don't care. You (or somebody who works for you) deleted my Facebook review, too. Why delete my review? I think we both know why. No response as to why your employee kept repeating the same thing like a robot when I spoke with him. That is hardly customer service. You are not a cheap vet but yet can't be bothered to train your employees correctly. Also, don't you think it's a big f***ing deal that "nothing was communicated to me" re. declining a heartworm test and therefore being barred from ordering preventatives? Did your employee notify you of a major issue? Did you reach out to me to attempt to rectify anything? Did you try to make it right for my dogs? Nope! Your only concern was selling me on a test and not making sure my dogs have what they needed. I would've comped a month of preventative for both dogs and then explained to me how everything works. You should be ashamed of yourself. read more

It has been two and a half weeks since my 5 year old Bichpoo was diagnosed with Thoracolumbar Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD). This disease caused my precious dog, paralysis on both hind legs, urine retention, and constipation. Dr. Withers is the veterinarian that handled Willow's case. He was courteous and took the time explaining the plan of care. He prescribed medications to see if there will be a positive response before embarking into getting an MRI and a referral to a neurologist. All throughout the two weeks, the outstanding Dr. Withers alongside with his excellent staff kept a close eye on Willow's health. She was in/out the clinic almost twice a day to get her bladder expressed. With every visit were friendly smiles cradled with optimism. Willow was always sent home comfortable, which gave her body time to heal. On week two, Willow is remarkably doing much better. She is now able to walk and no longer have urinary retention and incontinence. Her appetite is back, she's allowing us to give her belly rubs, and most of all, (I can't stress this enough) she is WALKING!!!! It's hard to believe 2 1/2 weeks ago she was dragging her hind legs. Now she is walking again!!! The prescribed medications worked and will be continued for another month so she can be at 100%. I am utmost grateful for the "Tender Loving Care" Willow received from Dr. Withers and staff. I highly and definitely recommend Eola Point Animal Hospital to anybody who wants the best care for their loving pets! read more

Been a client for close to 20 years, called to make a new puppy visit this morning for her next round of puppy shots due in 4 weeks. I was told that because my puppy was new "patient" and because of the pandemic, they are only allowing one new patient visit per day and the next availability for me to bring my puppy in for routine shots would be over 6 weeks out. Too far out for her to receive her shots in the required timeframe. So, I could bring my older dog in less than 6 weeks out, but not my new puppy. Last I checked dogs don't spread covid. After 20 years, Eola Point is forcing me to find a new vet. Really doesn't speak too kindly for the care and concern for long time patients and their human clients. read more

My pooch was a patient at Eola Point for about two years. I used them sporadically because I often travel to MN and will get her medical care up there as it is cheaper. When I did come to Eola Point, it was pretty pleasant. I don't have any big complaints. The prices were reasonable and the vets do a good job. For whatever reason, my dog just never felt completely comfortable there and sometimes they focused more on subduing her to get the exam over with than taking the time for her to get to know them. I moved last year and Eola Point isn't close enough to continue to keep coming. I found a much closer animal hospital where my dog in more comfortable, but I enjoyed Eola Point's professionalism while we were clients. I kept record of the major visits, but called them a few weeks ago to have her entire file faxed to our new vet's office. They quickly sent everything over without any hassle. I had done extensive research on vet options in the Aurora/Naperville area before bringing my dog here and I believe they are one of the best places you could pick. Some of the prices are higher than other offices, but I believe you get better quality service and your pet will thank you for it. read more

Our newly adopted dog came down with some disturbing "issues" this week. (I am not going to go into the details because you might be looking at restaurant reviews and this would definitely cause you to lose your appetite.) My regular vet was closed and it was something that needed to be addressed immediately. I saw some good reviews on Yelp for Eola Point Animal Hospital and decided to give them a try. I saw Dr. Rybicki. Roslyn helped, too. They were thoughtful and caring. And helped me understand what was going on with my dog. They explained treatment plan and what to do if thing were not working. Sometimes you just get a good feeling when you visit a place. I had that positive feeling here. I am glad that I found them. I've had Dr. Withers as my vet since I first moved to Naperville 5 years ago. He's been an awesome vet, and his staff is downright wonderful. How wonderful? Well, i call them in a regular basis because my oldest cat, Katie, gets allergic skin reactions. They are genetic, but flare up based on any number of factors. I can't actually pronounce or spell the condition (its enocilpsomething other other), so this is the conversation we have every single time I call for more medication: Gail: "Hi my cat Katie has more owwies on her nose. She has um, eco um, um, rat ulcers?" Nice Staff: "Rat WHAT?" Gail: You know, they aren't rat ulcers, they are just called that, um, she gets allergies and I get this medicine, and sometimes shots, but now she gets this medicine and" Nice Staff: "OH YOU MEAN blahblahblah" Me: "YES, thank GOD" Nice staff person then laughs with me, and I go and pick up Katie's medicine. They also sometimes take in strays - I adopted my baby cat, Hunter from them. He's like a little movie star when he goes in - I think it goes to his head, honestly. Everyone has to come and see him. It takes days to get him to take off his shades. When I had to put my Jacqueline cat to sleep, they were wonderful as well - they let me settle the bill later, and let me stay with her through the whole process. They will declaw your cat - I personally don't declaw my cats, and while it makes me slightly squeamish that they offer it, they are wonderful in pretty much every other way. read more

I like to get right to the point and tell you yes or no, but I would say on this one to research all the other vets around. We were going here for about 7 years and then moved and started using a new vet. We were completely spoiled by the new vet. When we moved back our 1st thought was to come back to Eola point. It's a nice place and the 2 vets there are good. It's just not very inviting or comfortable. After going to the other place we realized that veterinary offices can be nice, have good decor, be comfortable, and have nice rooms. I feel Eola point is lacking all of those, but many people may not care about that stuff....as you are only there a short time. I want a nice comfortable place, so I am now back in search for a better vet office. read more

After reading the reviews on Yelp, we decided to give Eola Point Animal Hospital a try. And we're glad we did! The front desk staff was extremely nice, helpful and accommodating. Our appointment started promptly on time. The office was very clean and inviting. Our dog saw Dr. Withers, who was extremely knowledgeable and attentive to both our inquiring minds, and our Chihuahua's anxiety about the visit and his vaccinations. After the end of our appointment, the staff answered all of the questions we had about the area. Local laws and rules regarding pets, the location of nearby pet stores, sitters and more. This place is great! Dr. Withers is very personable and very clearly is in veterinary medicine for all of the right reasons. The vet tech's are also all very caring and friendly and make it a point to make sure you understand everything in detail. As a worrywart pet parent, I was also very comforted by how quickly they called me after my cat's surgery (MUCH sooner than I had expected). I also like that they have never once tried to charge me for an unnecessary test or procedure or billed me more than the quoted price. These guys are the best! read more

I can't say enough about Eola Point. My husband and I became 'frequent fliers' here a few years ago when our old man cat started to show signs of weight loss. We came to discover he was at the beginning stages of renal failure and as I'm sure many of you would, I burst into tears. They were so caring and comforting, taught me ways to control his diet as to not stress the kidneys, in no way dismissive as I had become accustomed to at some of the bigger local animal hospitals. I have learned that every time I go in they know my name, my pets name (and his personalty), its almost like going to visit your family. When it came time to say good bye to Grey, all of his caretakers were in the room with us and he got to be surrounded by people that loved him. Its still one of the hardest days of my life but the love and care we got from their whole team is something I really cherish. A few weeks later when I rescued a puppy they didn't skip a beat to get the chance to love and cuddle (and poke and prod) my new friend. Without going into details i knew that my 13 yr old dog needed to be put down and had to be quick. Eola Point Animal Hospital is by far the best in the area. Dr.Withers Dr.Rybicki and their whole staff and techs are one of the nicest people we met. We take our lab puppy there right from when he was 4 months old. During his 6th month vaccination one of the 3 shots gave him a reaction and he was put on life support and he made it out of it after IV, medicine & life support system for 2 days. They did not charge me anything and they even followed up with the vaccine manufacturer and filed a claim on my behalf. The whole episode was handled great both emotionally and financially for us. All visits are fun for my pup - he loves the staff, they now keep him on observation (2/3 hours) anytime he's administered a shot (thumbs up for their extra care) ! prompt on appointment reminders, great service on phone and fulfilling prescriptions. Dr. Withers and Rybicki diagnosed all their issues right-on and treated them. When it was time for end-of-life, I have never met a more caring staff. Now three years later, we finally have the heart to welcome new pets to our home, and I am so pleased and relieved to find they haven't changed a bit!
