Didn't understand what a caring compassionate vet actually was until I walked in here. Front the girls behind the counter to the Dr. himself they love your animal as much as they love theirs. We have taken our animals here for everything from a a scratch from rough housing to much to annual shots and even an emergency my dogs stomach doesn't look right visit. But it wasn't until today when we had to put down our dog that you understand the compassion and care. Everything was done to avoid this and sometimes your dog is to old and to sick to avoid the final outcome. But with 100% certainty I know everything was tried for Darwin and his final moments where playing ball in an exam room as best as he could and with a Vet that cares about him, a vet that HATES 4pm everyday when he does euthanasia and gave my wife all the time in the world with her dog to say good bye. Could he have saved $20 by going elsewhere I'm going to say yes we could have but it would never come to that. This vet has earned a place in our family as our Family's vet and we currently drive 45 mins to him I would drive 100 miles to keep going here if we even moved. Stop in and see Dr Rowland and you won't regret it!

Dr Rowland did nothing short of saving our dog's life! We brought her in for a life threatening condition (turned out to be cancer) and he scheduled her for an early morning surgery the next day. We went in thinking that our only option was to put her to sleep and yet here she is, making a recovery! The new location is very clean and comfortable and is a fitting upgrade for such a great doctor! We are so glad that we found Dr Rowland and will continue to go here as long as we have pets!

Honestly, finding a vet is like finding a family. We went to Banfield for 12 years, and I finally feel like we are at home. A major surgery (at a reasonable price) later, and I have nothing but great things to say about them. Courteous, professional, and sincere. Who could ask for more.

Miss you Buddy.. xo

Where to start?! We've been taking our 2 huskies here since they adopted us..about 5 years..Dr Rowland & his staff are amazing.. they truly love animals & what they do.They've always been kind & compassionate. Then yesterday happened.. We came to the heartbreaking fact that we would have to let our older boy (Anchor)..go to heaven..he had been suffering from various ailments for some time. Dr Rowland & Melanie were so wonderful..they took us through this horrible experience with love & patience. We miss our Anchor terribly..but Dr Rowland & his staff made it a bit easier We won't forget,,,

My dog has been going to see him since he was a puppy! Great vet!

The vet was totally unfeeling! Six months of going back and forth with our cat, who was vomiting…read moreand having diarrhea. Blood test and stool test showed nothing. All the while, the vet offers no hypothesis or plan of treatment. I have to research and ask if this or that could help, or if it was this, what could we do. I got more answers from asking AI than I did from this vet. All she was interested in was running an ultrasound for $430. When I said, " Well, what would that show?" She was unclear if it would help diagnose or treat. Our poor cat was suffering, but I had to suggest different solutions! But she wanted us to bring her in, which further traumatized the cat, every 1 to 2 weeks. For what? The vet didn't offer a solution or even an effective treatment. Our cat went from a chunky 20 pounds to a rail-thin 7 pounds in 6 months! Finally, we decided to end her suffering. She was only 9 years old. Most cats can expect to live 16 to 18 years. Were we treated with sympathy, empathy? No, totally unfeeling. Just wanted to sell this or that to us in addition to charging us $360.00 to euthanize our cat. Never take your animal here!!!

I brought my dog here for a follow up (from a previous urgent care visit (different facility) 2…read moreweeks earlier) because he had a ruptured anal gland. I called this clinic to make an appointment and the lady was very nice to me and I was able to get him in....because my dog is a new patient she did explain that there would be a $50 deposit to hold the appointment...I had no problem with that because I found out that it does go toward the final bill of the visit. So, the appointment was set for 10:30...they do expect you to arrive 10 min early....I was actually 15 min early but when I brought him in, they were already expecting him....which I totally appreciated the prompt check in. They checked his weight and escorted us right into the exam room. Kylie (the vet tech) was so sweet! She was so professional and Rocky was very comfortable with her handling him! And Dr. Noyes was great too! She was very knowledgeable and had no problem answering my questions. Checking out was easy and the ladies at the front desk were very nice and proficient. I'm looking forward to bringing my dog here for all of his healthcare needs.

I have followed Dr. Strickland from this location to a few others and would not choose another vet…read moreover her. Overall the location is clean, Vet tech staff and reception are amazing and incredibly accommodating. Cost is cost and reflects the market price for supplies. - We initially started with Doctor Bishop and I did not appreciate his approach to a few things. There was not a major event that made me change, just felt very invalidated at times with his perspective and tone. I will credit that he very quickly diagnosed my pup early with Cushings and did a great job explaining that process. Though, i do refuse to see him and only book with Strickland when she is there- - Vet tech staff are amazing and so is the reception desk. I have never had an issue with my girls or how I set up my appointments. I do avoid students as on of my girls is incredibly aggressive at the vet. I book all my girls in one day and rotate them out, they are very understanding and accommodating to all my girls on vet day!

Someone has to set Raymond Bishop straight. He was incredibly rude and far from helpful. Had to…read moretake my dog for an ear Infection but instead he spent his time berating us because he couldn't handle a 12 pound dog. Not how you'd expect a vet to work his customers. Didn't even ask if they could give him a sedative spent most of his time complaining. OLast time I go here and I strongly recommend taking your animals elsewhere if you have a modicum of respect for them. avoid this place like the plague!!!

I'm very disappointed in my visit to this vet. I brought my dog here twice. The issue was my dog…read morewas lethargic and not eating. He hasn't been pooping either. On the first visit, the vet told me it was maybe allergies and change his grain free food. They plucked his ears and extracted his anal glands. They sold me some topical cream as his inner thigh was a bit irritated. This visit cost $350. The second visit, i went back the next day. My dog showed no signs of improvement from the prior visit. During this time they did an x ray, blood work, gave him some stomach settling meds along with appetite meds, and they sold me the same meds to take him. This visit cost $600. Note they said they were going to send me the x rays the same day but failed to do so. Fast forward another 1 day and $900 later, I noticed still no improvement. I took my dog to the VCA in Aurora. Turns out he had an intestinal blockage and required surgery. Thank god I took him to the hospital on Sunday or he would have likely died. Animals cannot talk. This place didn't go through the process of elimination to diagnose intestinal blockage. I didn't think it was because he never had a history of eating toys but I guess there's a first for anything. This place was offering all these other fixes that had no relation to the cause of my dogs illness. It's like fixing the radio of a wrecked car. The triage process was completely unreliable. I felt they were too busy pushing meds as opposed to finding a diagnosis. I got sold on these auxiliary services that did absolutely nothing to alleviate my dog's condition. I can't recommend this place. The only bright side is my dog survived. Vets should be trained in diagnosis issues. This is especially the case for animals. Dogs can't tell you where it hurts. It's up to the vet to help identify the root cause. In my case, I felt I was being upsold on services as opposed to treating the true underlying condition.
