    Crab meat balls
    Latisha W.

Based of the crab meat balls themself makes this a great place, the crab meat balls are lumps of crab with green pepper and battered into a small crab cake, my first time trying this amazing creation I was mind blown, thank you Hampton Seafood for making this!

Great place to eat. A hidden gem. The shrimps are so delicious & so is the crabcakes. My hubby loves the fish dinners. Its a lil dive, but more than worth it. A sure diamond in the rough... don't judge just try it you'll be glad you did.

It took us 10 months to purchase some seafood from Captain Harrells, but we did it today! I wanted…read moreto pick a time that it was not crazy crowded. I wanted time to read the board and learn how they are operating due to covid. I loved their set up. You pull up, park and get out of your car to look at the whiteboard menu closer. Once you know what you would like, head to the door and knock. Someone will open the door and take your order. So simple! TIP: CASH AND CHECK ONLY! Today I had a sweet lady take my order and package it all up. She wore a mask the entire time, as so did we. She was helpful at showing us what a deviled crab looked like, and help explain other items. I really appreciate that she took the time to do that. It makes me want to come back and purchase more when businesses do that. There was also an older gentleman inside enjoying a crab cake sandwich. He had the biggest sweetest smile ever. He was a happy a can be with that sandwich, and I was definitely jealous! The crab cakes were delicious. I'm making something with the meat on Friday. Just not sure what yet. Another little bit of information, they have a restaurant that opened a few months ago. They have good food! It is just down the street near the Food Lion.

Excellent seafood supply, fresh off the boat, chemical free!…read more Great service, great prices and fresh. It is not a market, you have to get around the building near the dock for sales. The fleet is docked right there. My go to seafood supply for whatever they have in stock. Wonderful candy store for seafood lovers.

Our original purpose…read morewas to purchase and sell catches from offshore fishing vessels owned by Bill Mullis and his long time friend and fishing partner, Charles Olsovsky, as well as other vessels. B&C currently has an in house fleet of 9 fishing vessels. The main fishery being that of Atlantic Sea Scallops. Bill and his brother, Ed Mullis are both past employees of Sea Rich Seafood formally based out of New Bedford Massachusetts. The brothers functioned as buyers for Sea Rich in the mid Atlantic region, creating many relationships buying from vessels directly while establishing a broad distribution base for a large variety of products. B&C Seafood is operated today by Bill's brother, Ed Mullis and has a unique position in the marketplace of a health conscious global population. We provide our customers with direct access to the finest quality sea scallops as well as other seafood available in the market. Our seafood has remained in high demand based on a long term reputation for some of the highest quality "off the boat" product in the business.

If you are in the mood for seafood and drive past this place you should slap yourself, and then…read moreturn around and go back. Food is consistently good. Unexpectedly good. Best hush puppies I've had anywhere, with no exaggeration. It has all the aesthetics of a repair shop waiting room, but still welcoming at the same time. And I hope they never change. Everyone who knows good places to eat already understands that most of the time the establishment doesn't come with distractions from the food. Personally, I like my family owned restaurants straightforward. They clean the shrimp. The scallops are buttery. The catfish is fried just right. Again, I hope they never change. Footnote: if the parking spots are full, there's a reason for that - A loyal customer base.

Very Disappointed With the Customer Service…read more If I could give this restaurant zero stars, I would. I went there to purchase three fish dinners and decided to order two crab cakes to try something different. Unfortunately, the crab cakes were absolutely disgusting. I called the restaurant to let them know about my experience, and I specifically told them that I wasn't asking for a refund. I simply wanted to use the $14 I spent toward something else in the future. I still had the crab cakes and was willing to bring them back. Instead, I was told that they use their own grease to cook them and that the owner said I could not bring them back or receive any credit. What really disappointed me was the lack of customer service. They would rather lose a loyal customer over $14 than try to make the situation right. I was going there three times a week, and every time I went, I was purchasing 3-4 dinners. I had even started recommending this restaurant to other people because I supported their business. But after this experience, they will no longer have my business, and I will not recommend them to anyone. Rollins and Graham on Armistead Avenue will have my business from now on. Customer service means a lot to me. It's not always about getting your money back--it's about how you treat your customers when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, this restaurant failed that test for me. I would think twice before spending your money here.
