I truly believe that Dr. Frank Sung Om was sent to me because my body needed healing. I was referred to him by my insurance since I had an accidental fall from grace at work from helping a patient. Thankfully, I didn't break anything, just my spirit and some minor soft tissue damage. I'm not a fan of needles, but I'm also not a fan of medication, so I wanted to try another alternative to healing. My parents love acupuncture, but I was skeptical. He is a 4th generation healer, meaning his dad was a healer, his grandfather, and his grandfathers dad. He's been practicing since 1999, so it's been almost 24 years. The office is very clean and neat. Dr. Om himself is very kind, friendly, and very patient. He is also a Christian. When he isn't working, he volunteers at his local church. I am very fortunate to have met him. After 7 sessions, I already feel a difference. Surprisingly, when I first came in, I was a hot mess. I was in agonizing pain, and it was hard to work with me. I have been going to see Frank Om for a few years now. This time I went to him due to excruciating pain in my back. I went to ER and even with X- rays, they determined it was a back spasm and just sent me home with Tylenol and Motrin for pain. Driving to work on a Wednesday, I felt pressure around my neck and shoulder area so I did what I normally do. I turned my head to crack my neck except this time, instead of hearing a pop I heard a crunch. Crap. And then a sharp pain when I move my head. Good thing I was only 3 minutes away from work. Called Dr. Ohm and unfortunately, his clinic is closed on Wednesdays but I was able to make an appointment for the following day. Now on my way to his clinic, I managed to hit every single roadblock you can imagine. One lane on a major street? Why not? Make it 3 major streets I turned into. I called Dr. Ohm knowing he's waiting for me and I asked if he'd rather reschedule because I was going to be late. After finding out that I wouldn't be able to see him till 2 days later because of my work schedule, he kindly told me he'll wait. Aaah.. Thank you!!! He placed 3 needles on my right foot, 2 on my right hand and 1 on my upper lip. I dunno what happened but it worked. My neck was little sore but definitely better. Frank does an excellent work in relieving me from unbearable pain and suffering from sciatic nerve on my neck that gave me only 1-2 hours of sleep for over a week despite ER n urgent care visits. He is skilled in helping your health improve from the flu to prenatal care and postpartum recovery. I first went to this clinic in '05 for the flu. It was the first time to ever get acupuncture and I was nervous, however, since that time I have not gotten the flu, thanks to herbs and treatment. So I've gone back for EVERYTHING - colds, cough, pink eye, etc. I also went for treatment on an ovarian cyst and then got pregnant. We recently had our 2nd baby and recovering from a C-section was much quicker this time thanks to the postpartum herbs and treatment. Dr. Frank Sung Om has a very calm essence about him. When doing his assessment, he was thorough and did not rush. He didn't try to push other services on either, which I appreciated. I have been in constant pain for about 5 months, lower back down through my left leg to my foot and sometimes the same through my right leg as well. I was unable to get a good night's sleep due to the pain. Getting out of bed and siting was very difficult. Even taking medicine, which would only help for some hours. On my second session, I came in with a pain level of 10 and was barely able to walk. After 15 minutes of treatment, I was able to walk with minimal pain.
