I came in today for a facial and was absolutely blown away. Hanan took me in like one of her daughters. I was cold from the rain and she gave me a robe along with a heated blanket. I have been getting facials on a regular basis from Hanan almost monthly since 2014. The longest I have gone without seeing her was maybe 6 weeks. I can see the improvement in my skin - more supple, soft and even to the touch. Although the decades of sun damage cannot be undone, the regular microdermabrasion has helped to keep the dark sport from getting worse; I also don't have any visible lines between my eyebrows (definitely a huge improvement), nor laugh lines around my moth. I wear very little makeup and notice that the weight does not have to be very heavy. As a woman of "a certain age," I'm so grateful to have found Hanan to keep my skin from aging too fast! People can't believe that I am as old as I am, which I'm starting to really relish and appreciate now. I have also begun to bring my two teen kids to get Teen Facials. I've been to Hanan several times now for sugaring, and she always does a fantastic job (see my review dated 8/8/2014). Today, I went to her for a facial, and she did not disappoint! Before taking me to the treatment room, she made sure to ask about my past experience with facials and about any allergies I might have then told me she'd be using only organic products on my skin. The products felt and smelled great! She gave me a thorough facial massage as well as massaging my arms and hands. Purchased two microdermabrasion first appt. went well and made the nxt appt on site .I recieved a call saying she can't do my appt due to family emergency ,did I wanna come on the 12th I said no ill call back. When I finally rescheduled and drove an hr to reach her the shop was closed she didn't answer her phone so I got a friend of mine to call her, basically she had another fam. Emergency and left me a message changing the time an hr later. Based on the other reviews on YELP, I decided to purchase a Groupon for 3 facials. I'm a sun worshiper and prone to oily skin. I've seen Hanan three times over the past 6 weeks and my skin looks and feels so much better. She knows that when the weather turns sunny I'll be back out there golfing, going to the beach, etc., but in the meantime we're getting my skin to a much better place. She does a wonderful job and is very knowledgeable when it comes to skin care. She has also always been available to answer any questions I had. I came to Hanan on a Groupon for a Brazilian Wax. I looked online and could not find a single review for her wax services so I proceeded cautiously. Even moreso because when I called on a Sunday she answered although the spa was closed. Meant two things, Id either get great customer service or this is going to be a tad bit ghetto (there were children in her background). Well it turned out to be a little of both. NOW Dont get me wrong here, the service was excellent. The owner is so sweet and polite even though I was late (I kno, I know). She made me feel comfortable and led me into the waxing room. Here's where it gets quizzical. The wax table is not actually a table its more of a massage chair that lays flat. AND... it rotates so I almost fell on the floor when I leaned against it (a little ghetto). BUT! The owner came rushing in and caught me before I hit the floor (great customer service). Ya' see! Another thing, there were a few snags when she was waxing (ouch!) and she left a little behind (I had to call her back into the room to fix'em) but she fixed it so politely even prompting me to check once more to be sure it was perfect. My final thoughts, I liked the place for the good groupon price. Ya get whatcha pay for ladies and Ive seen a "kitchen-beautician" or two before, so you smile, say thanks for that great deal, and dont complain. BUT if youre looking for the five star experience, this might not be the place. I may even get a microderm abarasion from her if theres a groupon for it.
