I must say Kelly was fantastic. She made me feel very comfortable because she was very accommodating. I felt refreshed, cleaned, and nourished after the treatment. After researching for weeks on the best facials in Atlanta, I am so glad to have found Jessica! I didn't want to go to just any day spa, but a place that actually specializes in skincare. Here you get the best of both worlds! Savvy Skincare is located in Salon Carcica in Buckhead. There were plenty of parking spots available, the receptionist was very pleasant, and the salon was clean and upscale. Up the stairs in the corner is Savvy Skincare, where Jessica is the owner. Once I arrived in the peaceful waiting room, I felt completely relaxed. Jessica introduced herself, and I immediately felt comfortable with her. She was warm, professional, and her skin was just glowing and beautiful! I filled out some paperwork, then was taken back to the facial room where she asked me a few questions about my skincare regimen and created a customized facial for me. It was very relaxing, and included steam, extractions, and shoulder massage. She is a very knowledgeable and experienced esthetician, and her hands are incredible! After the facial, she recommended a couple of products, but did not push me to buy them. I purchased the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant. I've been using it for almost two weeks now, and absolutely love it! It's so gentle on my skin, and makes my face look and feel like it has been buffed, polished, and smoothed. Good bye, dull winter skin! There is currently a Yelp deal- $60 for $95. I wish I could get facials on a regular basis, but I will definitely splurge again soon. I bought three microdermabrasions treatments for $75 all together from bloomspot. Scheduling an appointment is easy. Great location. Parking spaces are abundant. The facility is quiet, clean and modern. The spa bed is super comfortable and soft. Jessica is a very good esthetician, she is very professional. I enjoyed the treatments a lot. She sometimes add high frequency to microdermabrasion free of charge. She does not push people to buy products. She gives me skincare samples after the treatment. I'm a newbie to professional skin care, but I know good service when I get it. I found Jessica and Savvy Skincare through a Bloomspot deal for a series of microdermabrasion sessions. Microdermabrasion sounds a bit medieval, I know, but Jessica put me at ease by explaining the process and what the procedure would feel like, which she described as a cat licking you. I couldn't have described it better myself. It really doesn't hurt and the benefits to my skin have been miraculous. Before I left my first visit Jessica gave me some instructions on how to care for my skin post-procedure, then sent me home with a couple of samples to help out. I started getting facials from her in March 2016 and trust me my skin has never felt so clean, so glowly and so balanced after I started getting my facials from her. I receive compliments on my skin all the time now. I have had facials before but nothing compares to the one at Savvy Skincare. Jessica is amazing, and her skin is soo good. What I liked about the salon was Jessica was never forceful on what she recommended, she suggested the right treatments for my skin and needs, and also the products she suggested improved my skin like no other products. Also, she always gives out samples if she thinks you need to change up your skin care regimen a little bit, that ways you can try out the product without paying the high price for the full size at first. I will recommend this Salon to anyone who is into improving or maintaining their skin. I have not had any breakouts, not even in that time of the month, and my biggest issue was my skin was super sensitive, anything will break me out in the past, but after my treatments with Jessica, my skin is not hyper sensitive and the it can now take a lot of things. I received a gift certificate for a facial that was a $95.value I upgraded and added a microdermabrasion for $55. more.I took off work for two hrs planning on a great long pampering facial. I got caught in traffic and was 3 mins late for my 2:45 appointment. After paperwork I was on the table by 3:00pm,The facial by Jessica was pleasant .The microderm lasted about ten mins.the facial felt good and she did massage my neck for a few minutes, but I was dressed paid and in my car by 3:38. That's the worst facial I have ever had....$150. for 30 mins..... and I tipped her $25. being embarrassed not to tip.Maybe someone else would have given me a real facial... but I will never return to Savvy.There are many many better facials in my future. read more
