Finding a new hair stylist for short hair can be a bit nerve wracking since every hair has to sit…read more"just so" to make it look good. Finding it at Kut Haus Glendora was easy, matter of fact I know at least 2 Stylist that deserve recognition. Julian was open to new ideas and always delivered solid hair cuts that made me feel comfortable. Sophie on the other hand has that special little extra that makes me feel extra good looking with a little whisp here and a little ruffle over there. And all the staff at Kut Haus is super nice and welcoming. Can only recommend if you want to pamper yourself and come out looking like expected with that extra little something

Inquired through yelp if they are familiar with a " soft wolf's cut" for my teenage son…read more I soon received some automated messages from ai agents stating " they would love to help me when can I come in?" - including one from Kut Haus Salon-Glendora (RED FLAG #1) Then I got a call from "Kathy" I believe I could be wrong but I asked about this cut and told her I can send her pictures of my son's hair now and of what he wants. She asked if there's anyone i was impressed with from the reviews that I would like to book I said know just as long this stylist is comfortable with this particular haircut I called her back to set the appointment for today 07/08 @11am she stated Desire will be our stylist As soon as we get there Desire is available and welcome my son and led him back to her chair and I can hear her ask him "ok so what are we doing today" wth?????? RED FLAG #2 I intervened and informed her of my conversation with "Kathy" and showed her the pics and immediately confirm what had told my son that his hair on the lower back of his head was not long enough and so the haircut wont look exactly like the picture but that she would do the "wolf's cut" no problem i asked very clearly if she felt the hat she couldn't do it to just let me know " no harm no foul" we would just leave and she said it wouldn't be a problem I left with my other two kids to get something to eat across the street and 45mins later my son called me to say that he was done I thought that was way to fast considering the helmet of hair he's had might have need it a lot more attention that 45mins So I finally walk over to him and when I seen him I immediately said to I don't see anything different from when he walked in! Same hairstyle same length the only difference was that it did look cleaner I asked her is this it can you at least style it or put product?? She responded that she had removed a lot of volume but his hair need to grow more to achieve that look Wth!!!! So what did I actually pay $60 for ? For her to clean it? What was the purpose of doing all this research and confirming with them before the cut that this was something they can actually do!? I'm in sales and avoid bringing people in just to make the sale if you're not going to give them what they want! Have morals and set real expectations. The only difference from when my son walked in and when we left was less volume and she comb it. I'm still asking my self where is the "wolf's cut" that I paid for!!???? Never got it!

She took extra time in her hair consult with me as I had a lot of questions prior to changes colors to diff shades of browns. For months I had been looking to get my hair back to blonde with a blonde specialist and I found…read morethis Salon on social media and specifically looked at Lemmas work (the owner) I was informed by her assistant that she was no longer doing bleach and referred me to someone else at the Salon. I was referred to Tam/Tamara, I messaged her and sent her an inspo pic and what my hair looked like , said she could get my hair lifted and higher, then took a whole week 7 DAYS to respond back to my follow up questions! 7 days waiting for a response, I should have seen that as a red flag , then again replied and took another 3 days to respond . And her excuse was she was busy... like common you were doing my hair and when you weren't you were just on your phone, actions speak for themselves... then on the day of appointment she asks if I can schedule an hour later because she's running late. My time is as valuable and much more than you just for being a mom. She asks if i can show her my inspo pics, i pull them show them to her, we talk about how blonde I want to achieve without damaging my hair much then immediately starts foiling my whole hair, I stop her and tell her that it's not what i want, I ask for baby highlights all over my hair, leaving Yes, she has to weave my whole hair and yet she still continues to foil my hair as if we didn't discuss anything. We get to the washing part the rinsing part and tell her immediately I don't like my hair there's too much darkness, I had to keep explaining what I wanted because why!? I thought she was a blonde specialist and knows what the customer me wanted from the inspo pics. Translation from pictures is obvious. She said she can fix it and there she goes again and rebleaches my hair, like seriously no care for my fragile hair and damaging it more then needed to begin with. At the end i check my hair all over, yes she got it blonder but was it necessary to reprocess my hair again. NO! To top it off I still had harsh lines and I o brought it up, just to be asked if I wanted to go darker!? Seriously!? What a waste of day and time! I spent 10 hrs there when my hair should have been done in the 6 hours. Still asking if I wanted to go darker!? No ! Do your job efficiently and right the first time. I left with harsh lines and over processed hair, and she calls herself a blonde specialist. Yeah you charge the price of a blonde specialist which I don't mind paying if the job was correctly done! But you definitely did not deserve my money! Lemma , you should be embarrassed for having your assistant refer me out to someone as professional as yourself.

I was at this salon as a customer while this incident happened, and I feel it's important to share…read morewhat I personally witnessed. A stylist informed a client that she believed she had lice and, for health and safety reasons, had to stop the service. From what I observed, the stylist was acting professionally and following what most salons would consider standard hygiene and safety procedures. About two hours later, the client returned with family members and another man. They came into the salon yelling at the owner. By that time, the stylist who had been providing the service was no longer there. The owner apologized, offered a full refund, and even offered to do the client's hair free of charge to resolve the situation. Despite those efforts, the group continued yelling and threatened the salon's reputation on social media. I later noticed a wave of negative reviews, which seemed inconsistent with what I personally witnessed that day. I am writing this review because I believe people deserve to hear from someone who was actually present. The owner handled a very difficult situation calmly and professionally, and I don't believe the staff deserved the hostility I witnessed.

After seeing the low maintenance balayages on Frank's Instagram I excitedly made an appointment to…read moreget my hair done by him last year in 2025. Reservation fee: He required a $50 reservation fee via Zelle, that went towards service. Franks assistant might work on your hair with him and in his place: He used me to train his assistant, Eliana, how to do the balayage with him and also in his place when he needed to tend to another client he was still working on. She was sweet and helpful, and the highlights turned out good under Frank's supervision. He uses a method of teasing the root, spraying it with hairspray, and then applying the lightening mixture, to get that seamless look. Eliana also did my haircut which was unexpected since I booked with Frank, not his assistant. It took her a while to cut it, and it turned out just ok. From what she said she is newer to the industry unlike Frank with many more years of experience. Time: It took about 5 hours for the balayage, toner, and cut. Overpaying at this salon: Another stylist in the salon was rudely talking about how much more she was charging new clients compared to old clients. Frank kept a neutral vibe while she ranted on about not needing anyone if they don't want to pay her higher price. This didn't sit well due to the fact that I paid hundreds more at this salon to see Frank than I have anywhere else to get my hair done. She didn't mention anything about her expenses going up due to inflation, just that she's making so much more from new clients now. The combined total to Frank and Eliana was $562.00 for the cut, balayage, toner and tips to each. I won't be returning as the experience and result was not stellar for the premium price. For the same service, my previous hairdresser in Pasadena was in the mid-high 300s w/tip (and this was after raising her prices a few years ago- it used to be low 300s) and my new hairdresser in Rancho Cucamonga is in the low 300s w/tip.
