I was referred to Tam/Tamara, I messaged her and sent her an inspo pic and what my hair looked like , said she could get my hair lifted and higher, then took a whole week 7 DAYS to respond back to my follow up questions! 7 days waiting for a response, I should have seen that as a red flag , then again replied and took another 3 days to respond . And her excuse was she was busy... like common you were doing my hair and when you weren't you were just on your phone, actions speak for themselves... then on the day of appointment she asks if I can schedule an hour later because she's running late. My time is as valuable and much more than you just for being a mom. She asks if i can show her my inspo pics, i pull them show them to her, we talk about how blonde I want to achieve without damaging my hair much then immediately starts foiling my whole hair, I stop her and tell her that it's not what i want, I ask for baby highlights all over my hair, leaving Yes, she has to weave my whole hair and yet she still continues to foil my hair as if we didn't discuss anything. We get to the washing part the rinsing part and tell her immediately I don't like my hair there's too much darkness, I had to keep explaining what I wanted because why!? I thought she was a blonde specialist and knows what the customer me wanted from the inspo pics. Translation from pictures is obvious. She said she can fix it and there she goes again and rebleaches my hair, like seriously no care for my fragile hair and damaging it more then needed to begin with. At the end i check my hair all over, yes she got it blonder but was it necessary to reprocess my hair again. NO! To top it off I still had harsh lines and I o brought it up, just to be asked if I wanted to go darker!? Seriously!? What a waste of day and time! I spent 10 hrs there when my hair should have been done in the 6 hours. Still asking if I wanted to go darker!? No ! Do your job efficiently and right the first time. I left with harsh lines and over processed hair, and she calls herself a blonde specialist. Yeah you charge the price of a blonde specialist which I don't mind paying if the job was correctly done! But you definitely did not deserve my money! Lemma , you should be embarrassed for having your assistant refer me out to someone as professional as yourself.

She is very understanding and will tell you what she can and cannot work with which is why she is an amazing hair dresser. I value her opinion and her work so much. Thank you Jennifer for always keeping my hair A1 (xxxrtaa bomb). I go to Jennifer about 2-3 times a year and let me tell you even when my roots have grown out my hair still looks good! I love this place. My sister discovered this salon and told me I had to go in. The salon is stylish chic, clean and everyone is friendly. The owner Vanessa goes out of her way to make you feel at home. They also carry a variety of hair products for all hair needs. I get my hair styled by Jennifer. She has been doing my hair for almost 2 years. I was hesitate on getting my hair down because I was self-conscious because I had alopecia. I love visiting the Salon So-ME! Every time I arrive, I am greeted by the friendly front desk staff. Everyone there is so welcoming and I love the consistency of the salon. I know that when I sit in the salon chair, I will leave fabulous. I see Vanessa and she had been doing my hair since last year. I have been going to Eric since I was 16, I am now 24. He's been retouching my silver hair since 2015 and my hair is still as healthy as it was the first time we dyed it. My hair hasn't broken off because Eric knows what he is doing. I have been told by other hairstylists that my hair is in great shape considering I bleach it so much. I wouldn't trust my hair with anyone but Eric. I trust him so much with my hair that sometimes I'll just tell him to "surprise me" and I'm in love every time. Went in to see Eric,I had a couple of ideas of what I wanted but was still undecided. I talked to Eric and showed him the pictures and he got the idea of what I was looking for....not too short and not too long which the pictures were of both. He did dye my hair a beautiful chocolate brown and then cut it. To say I'm happy about it is not quite true. I love it. Even if I dont want to style it, I can air dry and it does its thing. I've been to many salons before but I am fortunate to now have a fabulous stylist and an accessible location. Jennifer is truly an expert at what she does and isn't pushy but rather explains the pros and cons. I wanted to try grey highlights but she advised me on the process (wouldn't last) and suggested an alternative. Well, I love, love, love how my hair turned out! I started going to Vanessa in college and have been so pleased with my hair that I continue to drive from Los Angeles to Covina to get my hair done. So I let my friend dye my hair red cause I was dying to have red hair lol ..it turned orange, yellow, pink I don't even know on top of that it was so damaged I had to cut it and it was just so bad . lol BUT THANK GOD TO JENNIFER! Although all the hairstylists at this location seem to do a good job I always trust Jennifer with my color & cuts. She knows what's best for your hair to not damage it. She is great at what she does and loves it and it definitely shows. My hair looks absolutely beautiful. Her pricing is reasonable. She is very hospitable, very sweet, and easy to talk to, which made the experience very comfortable for me. I will be going to her for all my future cuts and trust going to her when I decide to get my hair dyed soon. I've already referred my family and some friends to her. The salon itself is very beautiful and sets a comfortable environment. There is plenty of parking both in front and behind the salon.

As I told my story to the hairdresser, he was so kind and understanding. He helped me get through my first haircut in over 10 years. I was so nervous and scared because my hair was so long, but after seeing the results, I was so happy. It felt like a big weight was lifted off my shoulders, my hair was so light and bouncy. The joy and life was brought back into my hair, and I owe it all to Salon A. Thank you so much for not only treating me like a client but as a friend. I will definitely be back!

I have been keeping it up in a bun, since I embarrassed by the way it looks now. Gigi, looked at my hair and immediately came up with a plan. She washed my hair and explained what I needed to do, to keep it looking shiny and strong. She then taught me how to care for my hair and cut it in a way to make it look like I had more body. I have had many people say, they were going to do what she actually did, but never came close. Thank you Gigi, I finally have more confidence to wear my hair down!
