I only trust her with my eyebrow lamination, shaping, and tinting and that says a lot considering I drive 3-4 hours round trip just to see her. She seriously blesses my brows every single time. Stephanie's attention to detail is unmatched. She takes her time to make sure everything is perfectly shaped to your face, and you can tell she genuinely cares about her craft. She used a round brush and a crazy hot hairdryer on my bare soaking wet hair!!! No heat protectant, my hair was STEAMING :( the breakage on my hair is insane!! I'm absolutely pissed, I went somewhere else to get it layered in an effort to damaged control and it's still breaking... and not short fragments!!!!!! Dear Union Salon Covina, I'm writing to express my disappointment with a recent haircut experience at your salon by Angie. Unfortunately, the service I received was rushed, unprofessional, and did not meet reasonable expectations for quality or care. The stylist completed my haircut in under 15 minutes with little attention to detail. The service I was told would take an hour and she rushed me out of there in less than 30 minutes. My hair is wavy and frizzy naturally and she cut it dry straight across. When I got home and styled it straight I had to cut a small piece of hair sticking out. Even more concerning, when I requested her to trim my layers in the back of my hair -- a standard and reasonable request -- she refused, stating. "This will make your hair thin". I found this response not only unprofessional, but also unacceptable, especially considering I was paying for a personalized service and wanted my layers trimmed. The overall haircut was sloppy and not at all what I asked for. I did attempt to address my concerns during the appointment, but they were dismissed. She would not trim my layers after asking several times I wanted them trimmed. I left feeling extremely dissatisfied, upset, and I believe it's important that you are made aware of the situation. I feel scammed paying $100 for a quick out the door sloppy service by a stylist who clearly refuses to listen to what the customer is asking for and does what she wants to do. read more

I canceled my brow appointment with Stephanie brow artist less than 24 hours in advance due to a heartbreaking family emergency my grandson passed away. I canceled online the night before and when the salon called me I explain to them what happened . Despite this, Stephanie charged me $30 for a no-show and showed no compassion. I don't mind paying for quality, but I paid $100 for a haircut with Marissa (plus a $20 tip), and I left completely disappointed. After washing my hair at home, I noticed the front was uneven the right side was shorter than the left and the layers throughout were choppy and inconsistent. It looked nothing like the polished styles she posts on Instagram. I had an important event on July 5th and couldn't style my hair the way I wanted because of the uneven cut. When I called the salon, they told me there's a strict 7-day grace period for corrections. Unfortunately, I was out of town for 5 of those days (during the Fourth of July week) and had no idea this policy even existed because it wasn't communicated to me at the appointment. For a service at this price point, that should be made very clear. They did refund me $50, which I appreciate, but now I have to find another stylist, spend more money, and take time out of my schedule to get it fixed. I also explained clearly what I wanted at the appointment, and trusted Marissa based on her Instagram portfolio but what I got didn't reflect that. If you book here, ask about the correction policy ahead of time and double-check your haircut before leaving. My hair was long and needed shaping, but I truly feel she still needs to develop more consistency and skill. read more

I LOVE my hair but Veronica more for doing it for me! I was scared dyeing my hair at first, bleach terrified me. Veronica was great since our consultation, the test strand along with genuine/transparent communication was exactly what I needed. I dyed my hair first May 10th 2023, & I'm back every 6-8 weeks! The service is amazing, one of my favorite parts of my appointments is getting my hair washed and a scalp/neck massage. She's so thoughtful and thorough the whole time! My curly hair hasn't suffered any damage, has grown inches and has thrived in this gingerish color. I've gotten my hair dyed, cut and styled with Vero and everytime I leave confident, happy and truly satisfied.
