I had an appointment scheduled with Joann in the early evening due to my schedule. She was very helpful and accommodating which was GREATLY appreciated since it had been a little over a year since I've been able to do anything with my hair. I came in with an idea of what I wanted and left with the perfect balayage and cut. Joann was extremely patient and really took her time in making sure everything was done with precision and in all honesty the service exceeded my expectations. I felt bad that I chose a rather complicated service at such a late time, but she assured me that it was ok and proceed to take the time necessary in giving me the cut and color I requested. Do not come here for a blunt bob. While the salon and my stylist excel at long layers and complex color, short, blunt cuts are clearly not their strength. I was left with uneven, jagged ends, and the left side is noticeably longer than the right. I'll have to keep my hair pinned back until it grows out enough to be fixed by a stylist experienced with bobs. Save yourself the trouble if you're looking for a short cut. What's so disappointing is this stylist and others at Kut Haus have done amazing work on my hair in the past. I've been coming here since 2019, but unfortunately after this past experience I'll be looking elsewhere. I soon received some automated messages from ai agents stating " they would love to help me when can I come in?" - including one from Kut Haus Salon-Glendora (RED FLAG #1) Then I got a call from "Kathy" I believe I could be wrong but I asked about this cut and told her I can send her pictures of my son's hair now and of what he wants. She asked if there's anyone i was impressed with from the reviews that I would like to book I said know just as long this stylist is comfortable with this particular haircut I called her back to set the appointment for today 07/08 @11am she stated Desire will be our stylist As soon as we get there Desire is available and welcome my son and led him back to her chair and I can hear her ask him "ok so what are we doing today" wth?????? RED FLAG #2 I intervened and informed her of my conversation with "Kathy" and showed her the pics and immediately confirm what had told my son that his hair on the lower back of his head was not long enough and so the haircut wont look exactly like the picture but that she would do the "wolf's cut" no problem i asked very clearly if she felt the hat she couldn't do it to just let me know " no harm no foul" we would just leave and she said it wouldn't be a problem I left with my other two kids to get something to eat across the street and 45mins later my son called me to say that he was done I thought that was way to fast considering the helmet of hair he's had might have need it a lot more attention that 45mins So I finally walk over to him and when I seen him I immediately said to I don't see anything different from when he walked in! Same hairstyle same length the only difference was that it did look cleaner I asked her is this it can you at least style it or put product?? She responded that she had removed a lot of volume but his hair need to grow more to achieve that look Wth!!!! So what did I actually pay $60 for ? For her to clean it? What was the purpose of doing all this research and confirming with them before the cut that this was something they can actually do!? I'm in sales and avoid bringing people in just to make the sale if you're not going to give them what they want! Have morals and set real expectations. I came here years ago and then started doing my own hair because we were in a financial crunch. Recently my 22-year-old son has been asking to get his hair lightened from about a 7-8 with some 9 natural highlights to very light blonde. So we came here. My son has an intellectual disability. Allie treated him wonderfully, with respect and listening to what he wanted. She also gave him a gorgeous haircut and color. Albert was wonderful too. I cane here to get pampered as I wanted make up and hair done professionally for my maternity photoshoot. I wasn't hopeful at first since I needed my make up and hair to be done early, but im glad I reached out because Kut Haus was able to accommodate me! Finding it at Kut Haus Glendora was easy, matter of fact I know at least 2 Stylist that deserve recognition. I spend $189 for gray to show up immediately!** When I dyed my hair with Jiselle, immediately my gray was showing on my hairline after they washed my hair from the dye and started drying my hair. Also, I remember I had an event coming up on the weekend. I tried to reschedule several times with the stylist @Jiselle via text but she did not seem to care to accommodate ME THE CUSTOMER with my schedule to correct my gray hair showing immediately. I know nobody is perfect but she didn't make an enough effort to even want to correct the issue. Maybe she could have apologized & suggested to go with another stylist since she is so busy. If I was the hair stylist, I would make sure the customer especially a new client to be happy with the services so she can hopefully return again. read more
