I had to have it towed from the Toyota dealership adjacent to Midas to a shop in Junction City (The Station / 10/10 would recommend. They fixed the damage done to my truck for roughly a quarter of what Midas tried to charge me) to have it fixed. I had noticed some of the sounds and feelings of thinning brake pads a few days prior and when they brought the truck out they effectively held me hostage with a quote well over 1k dollars. When I attempted to express my confusion and frustration with the turn of events the tech and supervisor both became very difficult, condescending and accusatory. I eventually moved my truck off their lot because I did not trust anyone there and I'm glad I did. The tow truck operator called me and said that when he was hooking up the truck some Midas employees attempted to stop him by saying I had an unpaid bill. None of this was true and that kind of behavior is beyond unprofessional and very suspect. My parting advice to anyone thinking of using their "services" is to GO ELSEWHERE. There are so many other options where you can go and be assured that you won't be taken advantage of. I am a 41 year old man who had my 8 year old daughter with me and they tried to take advantage of me. I can only imagine if you are a young student, spouse of a deployed Soldier or anyone with minimal automotive knowledge how they could attempt to fleece you. Hope this was helpful!

Sure thing to say this is definitely the best hand car wash I've never had in Kansas... bought my car years ago, and this guy made it look like A brand new one AGAIN all the way from in-to-outside, and the point is they were not only doing it in professional way, it also looked like they were giving the vehicle a massage, and it was even more impressed to watch that how carefully they were doing the job. My husband and I had both of our vehicles detailed and we were very impressed! It only took a few hours (per vehicle) to get them completely cleaned inside and out. Our vehicles were in pretty bad shape (think dog hair, Doritos, mud, the works) and we were expecting to pay quite a bit to get them cleaned. I've paid over $300 in the past for just my SUV being detailed, but it was around $300 for both our SUV and truck here. The work was quick, very well done, and the price was super reasonable. Decided to take a gamble with the midwest weather and wash my car (forecast showed no rain for at least 5 days). Unfortunately, there was a thunderstorm that night, wth? Anyways, the car wash is isolated between the Stagg Hill Golf Course and Fort Riley Blvd. Once you pull up into the drive way, the vacuums are located on the right side before you make the u-turn towards the car wash glass house (looks like you're driving through a greenhouse). Vacuums work well, no issues with that at all. I paid $8 for my wash, military gets $4 off of their top tier wash. The car was fairly clean afterwards minus the lower portions all around the whole car. What annoyed me most was that the dryer did nothing. The entire car was still covered in water droplets. The rims were about 75% clean. Had to pull over to the side after exiting the "glass house" to wipe down the car (took about 30 minutes). It would be nice if they had a covered area for this. The car behind me had to do the same. There are a few other car wash locations throughout Manhattan that I will try before I ever go back to this location. Honestly, I would rather wait and do my washes back in Kansas City than go back to the bubble wash. But, if you don't care about residual water after a car wash and you're in the military, this place may work for you.
