My experience at Hand Car Wash has been exceptional every time. Today in particular I saw their professionalism and customer service shine! I called in to see if they had reopened now that COVID-19 restrictions are changing. Mariana assured me that they were open, but that they were really busy at the moment. What I truly appreciated was that she took my number down, and gave me a call when the rush cleared up. When I arrived, she welcomed me and even offered her help with registration services because I don't currently have my plates (salvaged car). She was super helpful in the steps I needed to follow to solve that issue. The car wash is fully hand washed! And they did a great job cleaning the interior. Prices are very reasonable for the service you get. I'm glad that I am able to support this small business, and that they're services are top quality. read more

Service is terrible here, paid $55 for the #4 package not including tip and my car is ridiculously waxed but no vacuumed and dusty. Very disappointed, came in for a regular wash ($14.00) but was convinced to get the hand wax for an additional $10.00 adding my total to $24.00 plus tip. For that price I expected something way better, the wax wasn't completely removed from my car they left smuggles all over. The front of the car wasn't even clean correctly, leaving so many stains. WOW! I love this car wash. Customer service is at 10/10. My car being clean 10/10 I really liked the waiting area and they played a movie for me on Netflix, that was very nice of them. The time it takes didn't change much, long wait. It was still a HAND car wash I wouldn't mind. They've opted to use a brush on most of my car, which did cause a few minor scratches. Fast car wash, they took in my car 20min before closing so I was very appreciative of that. The Receptionist/Cashier was very sweet and explained all prices and services very well through the phone. They do offer a few different packages but I do think their prices are not the cheapest they aren't ridiculously expensive their reasonable but I did drive a smaller car at the time and felt I did pay quite a bit. But in return you will be getting a good car wash. Last thing that I wasn't very fond of was my car smelling like the cleaning chemicals for a few days but it was the most potent the first two days. This is my first time trying this car wash and I was very impressed. There a a lot of places that advertise a hand car wash, but upon seeing how the work is done, you realize it's not really a hand car wash. However, this place is truly a hand car wash and it exceeded my expectations. I like the attention to detail...felt like I was washing my car at home except that I wasn't the one doing it here. Also, they have a pretty nice waiting area with cameras to view your car as they wash it, which I think was pretty unique. Overall, I was very happy with this place and will come back again. To good to be true!! (New, cleanand friendly until.....) I thought this hand car wash was convenient for me since it's around my house. I've been here more than 15 times, each time I come they rank up the prices. The lady that is charging forgets about my early bird special (8am-10am) the workers are here early but the lady that is charging always come late very unprofessional. So if my car is ready I have to wait on her. Also BEWARE of the stamp card I've been bringing my small vehicle and crossover they have always stamp on the same card until I reached my 10th car wash and the next one is free. They change it up on me saying I have to use one stamp card for my crossover and one for my small vehicle. This makes it twice as long to get a free car wash. So much for a loyalty card! read more

I come to LA often and I ALWAYS get my car washed here! The price is perfect! Where I'm from they charge me $20. Here they charge $14 which is a great price compared to other locations. Hand Car Wash has great customer service and they leave your car looking spotless! The waiting area has AC, I love it especially with this LA heat. I definitely recommend this place to everyone. Plus they give you a stamp every time you come in, after 9 stamps you get the 10th car wash for free! I always leave happy!! read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I had to wait nearly 2 hours for my car. On top of that it wasn't even clean properly. It looked like my 3 year old nephew vacuumed it (he would of probably done a better job just saying) it wasn't dried well, there were stains on my car still. The management there is horrible as well, he doesn't care about customers he even said to not come back if I didn't like it. He was just really rude. I definitely don't recommend it. I wouldn't necessarily call it a " Hand Car Wash" after 1hr & a half wait your car does come out clean. Amazing customer service but the job not it's full potential. I hated the hard scrub the used on my cars body a 2018 Chevy Malibu. Micro-fabric rags are indeed used but they also use a brush which I didn't like. I got free armor all tires wax so I'm happy but don't pay extra for it. It fell off after a 25 mile drive. I would give this place a second shot. read more

If you have a nice car or have a car that looks expensive try to avoid this place . They charge you by the way your car looks or the brand of your car . The other day I came here with my daily and I got charged 14 bucks on top of that I got charged 4 dollars extra because my car was dirty , which to me made no sense because they'll wash the car regardless dirty or extra dirty ? They expect you to bring them a clean car to wash ? Since I was already there I said okay . But the other day I came back with my other car to wash it again and as soon as I parked the lady asked what type of wash I wanted and I said regular and charged me 19 dollars right away and I asked why ? And she said because my car was black ? And I told her I've been here before with my other car which is black as well and she charged me 14 dollars and she began to bs me that just because the car is black they'll spray wax it and I was like whatever just do it . Do not waste your money and TIME at this place!!! If I could give a negative 1, I would. Loooong wait for a very substandard job.. my car still had dust after a wash with soap and water?? How do you explain that? Yes, exactly, a terrible job washing and perhaps a very substandard soap, little water.. you figure it out! I paid $20 for a regular wash, and I've read reviews that indicate lower prices ..makes me wonder, this is very shady. Their business dealing is horrible. When I pointed out that there was still dust on my car after the wash, they got defensive instead of Offering to correct the problem by washing it again or something.. the lady walked away frustrated.. the "manager, was just a jerk, who makes excuses instead of trying to do good business by providing some courteous customer service and making sure customers are satisfied. I will be reporting this place, and making a formal complaint with the better business bureau. read more

HAPPINESS is driving my car after a good hand car wash. Super affortable! they vacuum my car for FREE at no charge. In the valley I get charge for vacuum and end up paying $$$. Wait time was a little longer but I understood there was more cars ahead of me (don't rush the employees, they are doing the best they can) I trully recommend this place! Love it!
