We called 911 and a fleet of cops came knocking on our door in less than two minutes. They were quick to react, immediately advised me to get on my Cerberus tracking app, and stayed with me until the thieves were apprehended. They kept asking me if I was ok and when my adrenaline went down an hour later, they even apologized for the brute and cold way they first spoke to me. (I was like, DUDE you guys are doing your job, I'm not offended that you didn't coddle me, LOL. Apologizing was not necessary at all.) Detective Michelle Reyes was so sweet, extremely professional, and gladly answered all my questions about the case afterward. The police technicians did take a really long time to finish fingerprinting my phone and miscellaneous items (they said it'd take 2-3 days... it ended up taking 17 days lol) but hey, I'm just glad they recovered all my stolen items in the first place. I'm honestly so grateful. Despite the terrifying ordeal, I feel safe knowing that the Tempe Police Department is vigilantly watching over my community.

So if you had any last minute Xmas gifts ( or any other important mail or packages) that would have arrived Dec 23 or Dec 24, without warning they announced they were closed for two weeks with no way of getting your mail or packages. At least give ppl a couple days notice! Luckily my wife was forgiving and was ok with a gift 3 weeks later. This was very poorly planned out on their part and wasn't near any realm of good customer service. They've lost my trust.

I need a non-IVP card for my Massage Therapy license & the lady on the phone advised me to renew my IVP card. This was most efficient b/c I learned DPS keeps those on file. Then once I'm awarded that clearance (which is the highest so aim for keeping your HIGHEST clearance), I can ask them to add in the non-IVP clearance for my MT license. If I'd opted for the non-IVP, I would have had to get fingerprinted & it would cost about $30 more. I called at 4:30 & popped over here by 5:30, filled out the form, paid $79 & good to go. Convenient & excellent customer service. Cross my fingers - they said DPS will process w/i two weeks. Yes please!
