A FRUSTRATING & COSTLY EXPERIENCE! Handal's Roofing installed a replacement roof. The flashing was installed improperly at the chimney causing water intrusion into my existing patio cover. The issue was revealed when the patio roof ceiling collapsed. The water intrusion caused the roof decking and the lower portion of the rafters to rot, the insulation was soaked and molded. The Hardee paneled ceiling collapsed onto the floor. The owner sent out a member of his crew to assess the cause and repair the source of the leak. I accompanied his employee on the roof while he documented the source of the leak with photos. Handal's employee stated the flashing definitely was installed incorrectly and pointed out where the water was entering. He documented it with photos and I also documented the issue with photographic evidence. I placed a call to the owner to file a warranty claim. Multiple attempts were made to contact the owner directly. It was ten (10) months before he finally replied. Even with photographic proof and an admission of error by his own employee, the owner did not honor his warranty. Due to the extensive damage, the entire patio cover that cost me $2,500 to install initially, had to be ripped out and discarded. Unfortunately, the replacement patio cover was installed when construction material prices were exorbitant after the COVID pandemic. With the cost of the original patio cover and the cost to install the replacement, I now have $6,000+ invested in a patio cover. That is almost as much as I paid for the roof! After installing the new replacement patio cover, was when we discovered water was still leaking into the new patio cover. We traced the leak up to the faulty flashing at the chimney. Handal's Roofing DID NOT honor their warranty. All I know anted was for the reimbursement of the original patio roof, Not the total amount of the damaged patio cover and the replacement. Mr. Handal HAS NOT offered to reimburse me for ANY of the damage his company caused. I will not use Handal's Roofing again. Use Handal's Roofing at your own risk! read more

I left a TRUTHFUL review and stand by it. If Cristhain told you that my wife told him not to send her an estimate than he is not telling the truth !!! He did give her a discount coupon but he told her to text him my email address WHICH MY WIFE DID and he would send me the quote. Again,he is not telling the truth !!! He absolutely NEVER gave her a quote that day and again he is not telling the truth !!! He DID SAY that our house had hail damage and that we should claim it on our insurance and possibly replace the roof. She also NEVER said that she would call and do the repair in a few days and again he is not telling the truth. Handal's bid was very competitive. The owner, Sergio, worked closely with me to choose the best roof for my house. They were able to remove my old roof, replace damaged sheets of plywood and install a new roof in one day. My roof looks great and the yard was left cleaner than it was originally.
