Since I couldn't take the trailer in to a dealer, the manufacturer agreed to have a mobile tech do the repair and they gave me the number for AAA. I can't thank Steve enough for coming out and giving his honest assessment, he wouldn't waste my money trying to fix a leaky skylight in the rain. He said cover it and he'd come back when it was drier. I didn't even have to call him back when the rain stopped, he came out when it dried out enough to do the repair. Since then, no more leaks. Unfortunately, over time I found that replacement was improperly installed, melted the new inlet, the pigtail, and fried the wires. When taking it apart to see the cause, I found that the weather seal that came with the new unit was missing and thrown away instead, so condensation seeped in. The metallic label that comes in the packaging was left on and frayed wires were not inserted into the terminals properly, so these factors burned and melted everything. It had been many months after the repair and the evidence of the damage only just recently appeared. I tried calling several times with no reply. After sending a text, their response was that they only cover a warranty for 90 days and I would have to pay for service all over again. I would have had no way of knowing about these mistakes in the install, until the melting manifested itself on the exterior. It's very disappointing that they would not acknowledge the damage and do the right thing.

From our first conversation with Eddie, we knew we were in good hands AND then we saw his work!! He was flexible with us on scheduling since we were parked in a safe place. His rates were extremely reasonable - much less than MB. But his service topped it all!! We highly recommend Eddie and Precision Mobile if you are in need of these types of repairs. We sent pictures of leaf springs for sizing and repair. 2 hrs later arrived and refused to start until we paid another $1,500 CASH or Venmo, stating he was "on the clock." Charged $3,000, "job will take 8-9 hrs, you pay for convenience." Took him 4 hrs! Called three other companies this week explained situation-they were all appalled at what ALEX charged. Truly High Way ROBBERY!! Took our trailer into another company this week. Had both axels, bearings and leaf springs replaced for $1,100. ALEX deserves a ZERO STAR rating.
