I came here today for the second time to buy a lottery ticket. For the second time, I won $100. Amazing!

Love our neighborhood corner store and clerk/owners. Most of us customers are regulars and are treated as such.

I scream! You scream! We all scream for ice cream!…read more It is always a treat to stop by Moozys for some delicious ice cream! They have a huge variety of specialty flavors and also some seasonal creations! I always like to get a yummy waffle cone with my ice cream because it's a nice and big and can hold my scoops of ice cream. I have tried many of their flavors and all have been very good. I really enjoy their butter pecan and pistachio ice cream. They also have self service frozen yogurt with a few flavors but I never really see anyone getting frozen yogurt at least the times I have been there. We have also tried their food menu and have ordered their burgers which were tasty. We enjoy going late at night and on hot summer nights!

Honestly wish they would stay closed or a diff business open there once rebuilt. Racism is so obvious here but the town seems to revel in that and support it in their local businesses. You have to get soft serve yourself which will melt into soup by the time you get to pay for it.. We went once and were treated poorly and had soup cream.. not ice cream. They needed an AC here. Everything is so subpar so I just don't get why it is a town staple with less than stellar food and ice cream.

They also have 2 different homemade soups made to order for take-out too!…read moreI agree with the reviews raving about their tasty Persian ice cream and the two owners Sheetal and Vedika are quite generous (with their samples) and as nice as can be. Highly recommend their ice cream especially on these hot summer days. But I'd like to tell you about their nutritious & delicious homemade Chicken Noodle and Red Lentil soups that they make to order served in $6.00 take-out pint containers. You can get them only by ordering one day in advance -- to ensure they don't sit on the shelf unsold for too long [because this is mainly an ice cream shop, most don't know of this homemade soup option... kind of a hidden menu item]. Each soup is lovingly made with quality ingredients to satisfy both your taste buds and health goals alike. I order at least two of each about every two weeks and put them in my fridge. Easy to heat up for a delicious quick meal w/a sandwich. That's the scoop on the soups. You can call them (617-393-0136) or walk-in to order their soups a day-ahead of pickup.

My friend and I were in the mood for fro-yo and we found this place online with amazing reviews. We…read morecame in with high hopes given the amount of rave reviews, and seeing they had a 5 star rating! Truly, hats off to them because that is extremely hard to do. Now for our visit: * We came here for fro-yo and when my friend ordered a small chocolate fro-yo, they proceeded to let her try the chocolate hard ice cream. Me and her were both confused in the moment * While she was eating her sample of the chocolate hard ice cream, they said there's no fro-yo, only hard ice cream * I then tried the chocolate hard ice cream since there was no fro-yo and it tasted like freezer burned chocolate ice cream, so on a whim I got a kiddie sized cookies & cream with rainbow sprinkles * The cookies & cream tub was nearly hitting the bottom (signifying an empty level) and the flavor of the cookies & cream was also freezer burned and tasteless so I can't help but wonder if these ice cream tubs had been sitting there for a while. Neither the chocolate nor cookies & cream tasted fresh, and the consistency was really off (see photos) * I was given my kiddie cup of cookies & cream and wanted sprinkles, which was a self service for me to add toppings. That part also surprised me since you wonder the cleanliness of this (for example, some people might take their ice cream and put it in upside down to add sprinkles to their cup, or use their hands who knows) or in my case, I tried using the spoon to top off my ice cream and so many sprinkles went everywhere. I felt so bad for the mess it made on the counter!! Most fro-yo places are self service when it comes to toppings, but this felt interesting for us to put our own toppings on hard ice cream * I cleaned up the sprinkles that fell on the counter, only to have a hard time opening the trash since it had dried up ice cream all over it. It was covered with dry ice cream all on the top and sides of the bin. An idea would be to use a foot pedal trash can so it doesn't require people to touch the physical trash bin like I had to * The staff was super nice + maybe this was an off day because it's the winter, and I'm sure the fro-yo really is good. I'd still give their fro-yo a try!

Ever since the Tall Man and I stumbled across it back in 2019, only a couple months after they opened, we've made it our go-to local boba shop. I like my boba drinks quite simple, and being dairy free also limits my options. I nearly always get the classic black or green bubble tea sweetened with honey, with less ice and 30-50% sugar. The bubbles are a good chewy texture, never over cooked, and slightly but not overly sweet like Kung Fu Tea's. Without fail, the Tall Man gets a taro milk tea or smoothie ("tea" isn't quite the right term, since there's zero tea thus zero caffeine) with mango popping boba. A creamy winner that's less sweet than competitors'. They also sell ice cream (typical flavors, although I wish they would offer Chinese/Taiwanese ones like taro and matcha) and used to have cake, but I haven't seen the pastries lately. A couple things to note: - The owner is very kind and runs the place with her family. At times she's the only one there, though. If there's a wait (mostly gaggles of high school students), be patient, and she'll get your order right. - Over the years, I've learned not to show up in the first 30 minutes after opening, to ensure that the boba is ready (the tapioca balls need to be cooked, then sweetened and preferably cooled down). It's possible the owner has changed her preparations since the early years, but this is now an engrained habit of mine so I haven't been there early enough to verify. - Not open on Mondays, including holidays that happen to be Mondays (like this year's July 4th).

It was very busy but we were able to get a table for two within 5 min. The service was super slow. Took ~20 min for our server to take our order & another 40 min for our food to come. We noticed our server was the only server for all the tables, haha crazy! Here's what we ended up ordering: -roti (w/ potato curry sauce) -chicken wings (w/ spicy garlic sauce) -pad see ew -pla pad kun chai (fried cod fish fillet w/ lemongrass + Chinese celery) -Thai iced tea We tried the chicken wings, the roti, and Thai iced teas at the restaurant & ended up requesting for the rest of our food to go since we were on a time crunch. Thoughts: The pad see ew was delicious! We reheated it later that night & it was flavorful. I would definitely get this again. The chicken wings had good flavor but we found the chicken itself to be very dry inside. Made it difficult to enjoy. I loved the potato curry sauce that came with the roti. Simple but tasty dish. The pla pad kun chai was our least favorite dish we ordered. It didn't taste good at all after reheating. We're curious if we would've enjoyed this more if we ate it at the restaurant when it was fresh? The fish had a very fishy smell & didn't taste like it had been treated with lemon, vinegar, or both. We usually enjoy cod fish & lemongrass but this was a complete miss for us. Lastly, the Thai iced tea was okay. It was a bit too watery for us & we wished it could've been creamier. Overall, I would come back again to give Cha Yen another try. I did like the dishes we tried at the restaurant & perhaps the fish for example would've tasted better if had at the restaurant.
