I arrived at the pharmacy on Sunday, September 6, about five minutes before closing. I had been sent there from the pharmacy on Trapelo Road regarding an important prescription. The employee at the Trapelo Road location had supposedly printed the prescription information for me, but what she gave me was not an actual prescription that I could bring to another pharmacy. When I arrived, the pharmacy manager was at the register helping the last customer. I tried to ask a question, but no one took the time to listen or offer guidance before closing. I understand that I arrived close to closing time, but this involved medication prescribed by a doctor. What if it had been urgently needed, such as medication for an infection or for someone with diabetes? Even if they could not fill it that evening, someone could have taken one moment to listen, explain my options, or direct me to a pharmacy that was still open. A beautiful store is appreciated, but respectful and compassionate customer service--especially at a pharmacy--is extremely important. Customers seeking medication deserve to feel that their health and concerns matter.

He's gruff, disinterested, and unfriendly and watches his other tv set (with the news in Arabic) while you pay.
