On his first visit, Carlos thoroughly cleaned and sanded the deck. He also went above and beyond by power-washing underneath it, an area that desperately needed attention. I had not asked him to do that, so I really appreciated the extra effort. When he returned to stain the deck, the finished result looked fantastic. Carlos was prompt, honest, upfront about pricing, and clear about what needed to be done. I am extremely happy that I hired him, and my deck now looks great and meets my HOA's requirements. I cannot recommend Carlos highly enough. He does excellent work and is an even better person.

Chris and his team were efficient (on time everyday - worked on Saturdays) easy to communicate with and kept me informed throughout the process. Asking for my input and adjusting to my preferences. When discussing the estimate and hashing out the details my Dad suggested we add a 'Time' clause ie 'If you go longer than the agreed upon time frame of 5 weeks there will be a monetary penalty', well Chris did not bat an eyelash and agreed without hesitation - he knows his crew and how they work so was not at all worried about running long - and to our delight he was RIGHT!! They estimated 5 weeks for a basement remodel to include demo, a true bedroom, tv room and a fully built bathroom with plumbing and were done in 4!!! We have been living in the space for almost a month now and have had no issues, no surprises - not one!! I find this to be a point of praise for AB Remodeling!! Chris and his crew were respectful of our home, were helpful in general and cleaned up all of the construction mess - to include hauling away all the trash. This really is a one stop shop kinda company, demo, planning, building, electric, tiling to plumbing... they did it all with ease. So helpful to us. This was our first foray into home renovations with an outside contractor and we couldn't be more pleased. Beautiful , clean and quality work! What really set Chris apart was how involved he was before the work even began--and all the way through the project. He offered great design and layout suggestions we honestly wouldn't have thought of on our own, from flooring choices to lighting to small details that made a big difference. He also helped design the space so it functions like three different rooms while still feeling like one connected, open area, which completely changed how we use it. His team was on time, professional, and incredibly respectful. They put down protective matting as they went in and out of the basement, swept the floors daily, cleaned up debris as they worked, and treated our home with real care. They even took their shoes off before coming inside. It genuinely felt like they were remodeling their own home, not just doing a job. The crew truly felt like family, and the before-and-after transformation of our basement is incredible. There were also a lot of thoughtful touches that really stood out. On days when we weren't home, Chris and his team would bring our garbage cans up near the house on collection day, which was completely unexpected and very appreciated. Even after the basement was finished, they helped move furniture and larger items downstairs, which felt truly above and beyond. Our dog even loved them--and he's a pretty good judge of character. Throughout the entire process, they were consistently kind, considerate, and easy to have around. One highlight that still amazes me: Chris and his team stained the basement stairs to perfectly match our first-floor stairs. The drywall and framing work were done beautifully, and what really stood out was that Chris came back later to check on everything and make small touch-ups, just to be sure the work held up. That level of pride and follow-through is rare. They painted the ceiling black and were meticulous--no missed spots, no shortcuts. Everything was done with care. We agreed on a timeline, and they started when they said they would, finished on time, and left the space spotless when the job was done. To make things even easier, we simply picked out samples from Home Depot, and Chris and his team handled all the materials. The entire process was smooth and stress-free. All we had to do was make one call, do a little planning, and enjoy our new basement one to two weeks later. And honestly, our basement is now one of our favorite parts of the house. It's peaceful, quiet, and truly enjoyable. What we expected to be just a more functional space turned into a place we actually love spending time in. So much so that we asked them to spray paint our kitchen cabinets and it turned out beautiful! They hustled, very efficient, kept the workspace clean, knowledgeable, meticulous. Super nice guys. Very easy to work with and fun. But what impressed us most was that they always went above and beyond. They knew we were getting rid of all light fixtures and 2 ceiling fans and they offered to help my husband take them all down. That was very nice of them to do it. They are always willing to help. Few weeks after the ceiling was done, we noticed one of the ceiling seams in the kitchen became pretty noticeable. Called them and they came back the next day to fix it. They looked into it closer and realized it's caused by how the drywalls were laid. There wasn't enough support so the drywalls shifted very easily. My husband agreed that was the problem (my husband has knowledge of ceiling drywalls). Bryan offered to crawl into the attic and put some 2x4s to give them some more support. Then he repainted it. That seemed to solve the issue. They could have easily said it's out of their scope or required an upcharge. That really showed their ethics and high standard of work. That's when we decided to have them spray paint our kitchen cabinets even though it's much more that what we had budgeted for hand brush painting. Once again they didn't disappoint! They were very organized and did things the right way. Went above and beyond! They are not going to be the cheapest but you pay for the quality and peace of mind. We had him out last week for a bid on painting 5 rooms in our home and he seemed very excited and told us he could get the work done right away and would be done in 4 days. He gave us a bid and we paid him half down and agreed to pay him the other half upon completion. He and his crew were to show up yesterday morning and Jesus came and told us his partner was lost but would be here soon. He stood around and did nothing while waiting for his partner. About an hour later his partner showed up and Jesus came in and told us that he had a problem at home and would come back today. He gave me the check back and said he would call my husband at 1 pm. The call never came, so we called him three times and left voice mail messages twice. He never returned our call. The only thing we could do was to send him an email to tell him that we were canceling the contract because he never showed up for the job, nor communicated to us what was going on. The thing is, we were going to recommend him to several of our friends who needed work done, but he just did not seem to care. Now we have three new painters coming in to give us bids on the job...I took off work to be home when they did this job and now I missed work for nothing. This is very frustrating and confusing to me and my husband.
