Hot offerings include a burrito, fries, cheeseburger and even a Pulled Pork sandwich. Cold offerings are standard cold-cut fare. Apparently there is some confusion about BBQ. This store does NOT have a BBQ grill nor do they offer BBQ products (ribs, chicken, brisket). However, the store does offer a Pulled Pork sandwich which can be misconstrued as "BBQ". In all, the Market Basket is a convenience store that serves a handful of hot and cold items that are very much akin to 7-11. It's not a bad store at all - a decent independent store on an otherwise underserved part of town.

What I tasted was perhaps the worst fried chicken I have ever had. The chicken just didn't taste right. It was not flavorful and was very greasy. This store is a cross between a convenience store and a flea market and it has not decided on what it really wants to be. There are no restrooms available and the selection of beverages and snacks is not in abundance. I may return and try the pork barbecue but never again the fried chicken. My advice is if you're driving to Winchester, wait until you get there.
