While in the area we stopped in here a couple of times for gas and the coffee. Decent Sheetz that has everything you need.

Late Aug, 2025. My husband and I travel occasionally between Louisa County and Winchester on US-50, with this Sheetz in Boyce, VA being a favorite rest stop -- given their good prices on gas, tasty coffee, and clean restrooms. While we don't usually order from their MTO (Made to Order) food options, we did this time because we reached around 12:30 pm and were hungry. They were offering a special $5 Hot Dog Meal -- which included two hot dogs (usually $10), 4 chicken nuggets (usually $2.79), and a bag of Fryz (usually $2.79). We balanced this with a Spicy Caesar Salad ($8.99), which contained romaine lettuce, a spicy chicken patty, croutons, Parmesan cheese, and Caesar dressing. With tax, our meals cost $15.30. Overall, our ratings for this visit to Sheetz were: *Gas (4.5/5) for ease of accessing and using the pumps; gas price. *Restroom cleanliness (4.5/5). *MTO experience: (3/5) for ease of ordering at kiosk, paying for ordered items, and interaction with MTO staff/speed/etc. It was rather confusing to order at one kiosk and then have to pay at another register, and there were lines for both. Rewardz card didn't register our food purchase. *Food Quality. (3/5). We had mixed feelings about the food. Hot dogs were rather small, and the small bag of fries was only partially full. Neither the nuggets nor spicy chicken patty on the salad had much taste or texture though the latter did have a bit of a kick from the cayenne spice. Salad was okay but overpriced given the price point and size. Hot dogs meal was a good value. We would probably order grilled chicken next time. *Rewardz program. (2/5). My husband is a member of the Rewardz program that gives a 3-cents/gallon discount on gas, and points towards food items when you purchase items in-store or online. While we appreciate the savings on gas, but it's unfortunate that payments at the pump don't count towards earned Pointz, and the bar is set too high to be able to earn any of the Rewardz. read more

Absolutely amazing service, Large variety of stuff in the gas station, multiple times. I forgot this was a gas station. I am a Sheetz fan myself, so I really like this, sadly, they were out of the honeycrisp drink they had, which I really liked, and I was excited for that, My drink, very great, very pepperminty, but that's because I ordered the mocha latte with peppermint, very good, food was done preparing fairly quickly, a lot faster than what I thought for what I ordered, the service, for the cashier was absolutely amazing, she had a fun time joking around with me, amazing! Usual Sheetz in an area without many gas stations (basically one on either side of the highway). Gas prices are okay, they have all the usual Sheetz items if you need something to eat or drink, and restrooms were clean when I stopped. Nothing worth stopping for if you don't need anything but it works just fine if you need something. read more

Sheets is a nice gas station and food mart when traveling. They have a lot of hot food options so they are a decent lunch stop too. The store is always clean and everything is bright clean and easy to find. So prices may seem high but i guess it should be expected due to the convenience and quick service. Food can be ordered from a kiosk so it's simple to order and customized your menu item. The gas prices are usually one of the lowest in the area too. read more

Stopped in on my way back to North Carolina. The store was clean, well organized and the staff is very friendly. The gentleman with LOL on his name tag checked me out. He has a great sense of humor. The restrooms are very clean. Sheetz carries my favorite childhood candy from Altoona - Garnder's meltaway bars so it's a must stop for me. read more

This is a good place to fill up. Their gas prices are always competitive. That's one factor, but also the cleanliness that corporate believes in. I find this one sterling, and a good place to get a meal at. Their subs and foods are more expensive now, but inflation is a real issue. Ordering is easy and efficient. Really nice employees. It was rather busy today and they handled it well. Also props on the clean bathrooms. A road trip warrior appreciates this. If you're in the area this will work. It's a good business, and a place to take care of a lot. read more

This is a pretty large Sheetz location with lots of fuel pumps and a first rate convenience store with lots of snacks, supplies, coffee, frozen drinks, beer and other beverages etc... Everything you would expect in a modern convenience store can be found here. They also have made to order food items so it's a nice place for a traveler to stop to fuel up, have a bite to eat and use the restroom facilities. There is a small dining area if you prefer to eat inside. The store is always neat and clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The outside area is well maintained and in good condition. The location is easy off and on of US-50 and US-340 in Boyce, Virginia so it's a convenient stop for me when travelling through the area. The store seems to always be pretty crowded but wait times are still minimal. I appreciate being able to stop in and be back on the road as quickly as I like. For a fuel stop and convenience store it really doesn't get much better than this Sheetz. read more

MTO subs are pretty average. They now charge for cheese which is just plain wrong. Also they dont even have hoagie spread!!!. I think they need to up their game. It was fresh made so I complement them on that. Staff and service was excellent. read more

Stopped in here on the way back home from Winchester for a restroom break and a decent cup o' Joe. Man is this place ever busy! I guess it's because it sits at the Crossroads of U.S. 50 and U.S. 340. The line to the registers was about 15 people deep - but the line went pretty fast for all that. Coffee was good- Men's restroom was out of papertowels. read more

I'm with Neal on this one.. 4 stars. Busy busy busy Sheetz! Busier than the one in Manassas.. that's for sure! Everyone seems so friendly here. The reason I go here is because it's near where I'm interning at. Maybe they are nice to me because I'm dressed up? Or is it a southern thing? Their MTO (made to order) is fast and yummy. I got a buffalo chicken wrap. it was about $5 something. Their coffees are cheap and the lines are long. But the lines move fast. It seems there is a competitor opening up across the street. A similiar gas station is being built right now. I guess a little friendly competition never hurt anyone. read more

I stopped here to get a quick bite to eat today, 8/26/21 around 12:15. I ordered a HOT steak and cheese sub. I got a COLD steak and cheese sub. When I took it back in, they said I didn't choose to toast the bread. I replied "Well, that's because I didn't want the bread toasted. But, you are supposed to heat the meat and cheese. And then, make the sandwich." The response was, " we dont do that here!". I am well traveled and a long time Sheetz customer. When I order a steak and cheese sub, I order it the same way, every time. And, never has it been served cold. I did choose my sub from the "Hot subz" menu, not the cold option. If its one the hot menu, you automatically know to serve it hot. And, people that work in the fast food industry want $15/hr???? I served in active combat the Iraq war and didn't make make over $11.03/hr. I will be sure to make it clear that I want my steak and cheese hot, when I go here. read more

Here at least once a week and love it. Staff is great, and the food for a gas station is pretty darn good! Not always just to grab a quick bite on the road...but you can make this a go to location to pIck up diner or lunch and everyone can get what they want. Next time you need gas go on inside and get some food and you might just find something that you wind up coming back for even if you Donny really need to visit a gas station. read more

This was my first time at a Sheetz. It's massive red coverings have always frightened me away. This time, the gas was undeniably cheaper than it's competitors and Sheetz just so happened to be on the right side of the street. There was a million people there. Native Virginians. It seemed like the type of place where you could leave your car running for a quick run in to get a cold coke, or an ice cream bar or a pack of cigs (if you're into that type of thing). I ran in the first to pay for gas and realized Sheets was a mega mart (mini didn't cut it for this place). They have a hot food station, a cold station, a coffee station, a cold coffee station, and men's magazines. And them some. I went in a second time because I realized I didn't feel like crossing the street to get something to eat, something reliable and trustworthy. I opted to get a hot dog (on a pretzel bun) and an ice cream bar, because I thought I was worth it. The hot dog was almost inedible, but I was so hungry after my meeting if you would have stuck your arm out in front of me for too long, I would have taken a bite...or two. So I choked it down with some water, since I'd eaten my ice cream while waiting for the nasty hot dog. The point: DONT EAT THE FOOD. GET THE GAS. DONT EAT THE FOOD. read more

Nothing to complain about here, other than the fact that Sheetz isn't available in the Baltimore metro area. I wish that it was - they have some of the best coffee I've ever tasted. My rating of Sheetz stores is pretty much individual - I've been to really rotten, unkempt ones and I've been to good ones. This location rates as very good, indeed. The restroom here is very well kept and clean - if you need to make a pit stop here on your travels through the Shenandoah, you can't do better than this location. Well stocked with everything one might need. The gasoline prices were VERY good, indeed - I think it was 2.19 a gallon when we stopped, which is unheard of in B'more - and we actually ended up stopping here both on the way down to our destination and on our way back. It was just that good. I was getting coffee on the way back and ended up having to wait a bit while the pots were being exchanged out for fresh. Imagine my shock when I approached the cashier with my coffee and he said, "It's on the house. Sorry you had to wait." Seriously??!!!?? Oh, man, I would have paid for it, regardless, but just that alone shows the professionalism and courtesy that this company holds for its customers. I was incredibly impressed - and grateful. This is only one of the reasons why I wish Sheetz would come to Baltimore. But in the meantime - if you're in need of a clean restroom, cheap gas, great coffee, excellent food - stop at this location. You can't do better. Definitely a busy place. I see why it is! read more

I am a Sheetz fan. I come by here frequently on trips between NoVA and Martinsburg and always stop here. They have considently had the cheapest gas price in the Winchester area, so I top off here before going back into WVa where it's usually 15-20 cents more per gallon due to state taxes. It's busy, but I have found this location usually to be clean and efficient. read more

Sheetz! I love this place and the MTO menu has a wide variety of options even for breakfast. My son loves the Freal Milkshake machine. We stop here for breakfast and lunch whenever we can. I usually opt for the pretzel bun sandwich and the sausage patty here is so flavorful! read more

I stopped in here to order food for the day. I waited over 20 minutes. I get that they were busy. When I asked the person behind the counter (Kim D) about my order, she was incredibly rude and said she didn't have time for my order. When I finally did get my food, it was cold because it had been sitting there for a while. This was a total customer service fail. read more

This Sheetz is unlike others as the gas up area and parking are very large. Many Ive seen are too busy for their smaller locations.

This Sheetz is abysmal. The food you get there gets tampered by the staff. We have been going to Sheetz for nineteen years. We procure gas, food, and beverages there. So far, until yesterday, all was well. Now, yesterday, we were on a multi-state trip and we stopped at the Sheetz Store #192 at 12582 Lord Fairfax Highway in Boyce, Virginia. I have never complained about Sheetz before, but this was an experience from the dark side. The gas we presume was okay, but the food and coffee were abysmal. When we were several miles into the trip from this Sheetz, we opened the sandwich wrappers, and we saw that the staff had put the cold cuts and condiments outside of the bread so that you are holding lettuce and ham in your hands with the bread in the middle! The bread was old and very hard as well. Maybe that is why they did it: Out of embarrassment. It could have been used as floor tile. Maybe there should be a home repair isle added at this Sheetz. And since the coffee urns all had the blinking lights, we figured it was going to be a little old tasting coffee, but it tasted like it was made days before. It could have been used to strip paint. That should also go in the new home repair aisle at that Sheetz. In fact, an acquaintance later told us we should have gotten it for free since the machine light was blinking, but we were charged for the liquid. We threw it all away to avoid getting ill. Do not go to this Sheetz because you may get something in your food since they think it is funny to mess with the meals that get prepared here. read more

Convenient with inexpensive gas in a good location that keeps me from having to drive all the way to Winchester, Berryville or Front Royal to get basic items like milk or eggs without too much of a markup. Ordering food can take a while, but the pumps are generally no too bad even when they're busy. Sometimes there can be a line at checkout, but again usually not awful compared to some Sheetz locations I've been to. The bathrooms however are often a mess. read more
