I always leave with two pair because I feel like I'm getting ripped off if I don't.

Today my experience was very unpleasant. Upon entering, with my son in a stroller, I was greeted by a male employee. After returning the greeting I proceeded to the back of the store where the children shoes are located. As I am looking at the clearance rack I notice the employee who greeted me in the aisle by the clearance rack. I continued to shop among the children shoes and other customers. As I moved through the aisles I noticed the same employee close by. I made my way back to the front of the store and noticed two other employees breaking down boxes. I asked one of them if the guy that I last saw in the back of the store was a manager? The employee replied "yes." I proceeded to tell the employee how I felt he (the manager) was following me around the store and I felt uncomfortable. I did not know the manager was standing behind (obviously following me) and in an aggressive manner he said "you can talk to me." I told him how I felt he was following me around the store. He claim he was working (removing tags) and it was a coincidence that he happened to be close by me while I was shopping. He was very aggressive and rude so I walked away from. I made my way to the register to pay for the shoes I picked out for my son. The same employee I asked the question about the manager was checking me out. I asked him if there was a corporate number I could call and he informed me that the manager was the other employee that was breaking down boxes with him. This was a shock to me as this "manager" was present the entire time I had this aggressive other manager being rude to me. I spoke with manager irritating my feelings. The manager stated that when someone walks with a child the employees are to offer assistance by asking if they can measure the child feet because some people do not know what size their child wear. He said he instructed the rude manager to assist me. He also said the other manager is new and needs more training to which he will handle. I replied he (rude manager) did not assist or ask if I needed any help.

It can only be worked on by benchmade and they can only get it from an authorized dealer. Mast is one of them. I dropped my knife to have it worked on and they kept me in the loop along the way. The value was only if you bought a few pares to get one half off. But I think we could have done just as well at Amazon or Walmart. Staff was nice and a little perk is they give you nice reusable shopping bags that are not the typical cheap plastic. I had shopped with Fleet Feet about 10 years ago but they have since upgraded and updated their location and technology. It sounds like it's best to make an appointment, which I did not do, but happily Lucas was available to work with me right away. First we discussed what I was looking for in a shoe and brands/styles that had worked for me in the past. Then I removed my socks and shoes and stood on something resembling a scale but which actually made a 3-D scan of my feet. I then walked across a black mat on the floor several times, which analyzed my gait and whether I had any "hot spots." After these scans Lucas showed me an analysis of the shape of my foot and gait on a tablet. He then used this information and my sock preference (thin, thick or mid) to select try-on socks and a pair of shoes to try on. He used my feedback from the shoes to select other pairs of shoes. He also selected a pair of inserts to address my feet's needs and I tried on the shoes one with the insert and one without, so I could feel the difference. I tried on four pairs of shoes. The first three all felt good but in comparison the last pair just did not feel right and was quickly eliminated. I knew which pair I liked best so I put that on one foot then tried on each of the remaining two to narrow down to my top two, which I decided to purchase. Lucas brought out all colors of both styles so I could select my favorites. I really appreciated his knowledge and patience and am confident I have purchased the best styles of shoes for the health of my feet and body. Recommend!
