The man looked at the Passport of my wife and said that he only accepts state, federal, and government IDs. Great, showed him the Visa and he said the exact same thing. I believe that Agave could hire someone with enough intellect to understand that tourists and others from outside the country do not have access to Federal, State, or Government identifications and that an AMERICAN Visa is a valid form of identification. We told the man all of this and he just stupidly said "I can only accept American passports." I do not believe that this is intentional discrimination against those that are not from the United States, but I believe that the staff needs to maintain a higher level of education when it comes to US law. From US law: "a visa can be used to prove identity and the right to work in the United States."
