The batter of the fried chicken seem lightly battered, but it was still pretty good! The wait time for my food didn't take long either! The waffle fries were a plus!

I enjoyed my eating experience at Hangry Joes. The chicken sandwiches are huge and the fries are slapping!!!! If you enjoy hot and spicy chicken. Give this place a try!

Very flavorful and amazing crunch factor. My son and his mom told me about this place when visiting so I went to give it a try. Ordered the 12 piece breaded wing (medium and spicy sou garlic) Mega sando sandwich. Waffle fries. As stated above everything had great flavor. Place was being cleaned as we entered. Entered around 9pm. Placed order on screen, and left when we received food. Staff was helpful and for my first experience I was quite pleased. Not too many places can pull off fried chicken and do it right, but this place did. Serving size for the mega sando sandwich was more than enough for 2 people to share. Apologies for not having pictures, we kinda ate the food pretty quickly when we got home. Thanks for the experience

We were in the area for the 30 Seconds to Mars show. I took this as a chance to try a new restaurant in a burg I don't explore much. Yelp provided me with several inspired choices, but I could not resist the name HANGRY JOE'S. What in the world? Okay, sure it says right there 'hot chicken.' But there are a growing number of exotic choices when it comes to hot chicken today. Turns out it's NASHVILLE BONCHON. You know those garlic soy Korean chicken bites you like so much? Imagine that, with rice and....pickles. Those incredibly satisfying real meat fried chicken sandwiches you like? But dressed up kinda southern-like, with slaw, and a Korean spice level of your choosing. I got the chicken sando, and it was the perfect size for me. Jeremy had the Mega Sando: (Formerly the Original Sando) 8oz. seasoned chicken breast w/ choice of spice level, topped w/ cider slaw, pickles - Hangry sauce on a Brioche bun. (no slaw), and a serving of the garlic soy bites. We LOVED our chicken sandwiches. I lament now that there isn't a Hangry Joe's location closer to me. The chicken is just the right crisp with just the right moisture level to the meat. The slaw isn't over powering in flavor, but provides a great textural component. The pickles are a little chonky and awkward. I realize it's a nod to the Nashville portion of the product, but they didn't appeal to me. Just when you thought this experience couldn't get any better - they sell boba beverages: milk teas, and SLUSHIES. Yes, like a slurpee with boba!! I had no idea such a wonderment existed. (Though, truthfully, the boba clashes with the pineapple slushie. Don't get that). I would come back just for the beverage selection... and then end up ordering several sandwiches. I'm definitely going to have to go back because I still have no idea why they have both syrup and cheese sauce on their sauces menu, because I didn't experience any of that and I need to.

Great new chicken place! We ordered a variety of things. I got the chicken sandwich which is HUGE. The chicken hangs off the side of the sandwich and I was nearly full after eating less than half the sandwich. My hubby got the salad and he enjoyed the heat of his hot chicken. I got medium and it was still super spicy. My daughter got chicken fingers with no spice. The French fries were the best and the sauce is even better than raising canes.

Finally came here to understand what all the fuss is about. Got the chicken sando combo with waffle fries and at the hot level. I will say it was not hot at all. Flavorful though. I'd definitely try angry hot next time. The fries were really good and plentiful. The seating and parking is a little tight, but that's okay. I'd definitely come back and get an angry hot sando. Seasoning on fries is great!

Had hangry joes again! It is really good when you are in the mood for a spicy chicken sandwich! The chicken is huge with half of it hanging out the bun! I got the mild which is spicy but still edible- the slaw balances out the spice too. Son got medium spicy which he says is 10 times spicier and he had to take multiple breaks with sweat dripping off his face! We got the loaded fries as mild spicy- it was loaded with tons of cheese and jalapeños and hit the spot- could be a full meal in itself! Ordered for pick up and it was ready on time - service was fine - the place is clean and has several tables to eat in

The presentation of the food looked amazing. The waffle fries are seasoned well but are more on the dense starchy side. The sandwich is massive, packed full of flavor, and very juicy even after a fifteen minute car ride and stop back home. I did choose hot spice level which is very tolerable. The service was swift and food was made to order. The fountain drink machine for the teas looked a bit out of shape yet functional. The decor of the room was very animated and reminiscent of Korea. Overall solid first visit please go try them out.

2.3.24 The day has finally come after a long delay due to inspection. It was worth the wait and our visit did not disappoint. Awhile back, there was a sign that said due to unexpected delays, they would provide a free bubble tea with any meal purchase when they open by showing a photo of the sign at the register due to the Dining Guide ad. I also purchased a LocalFlavor offer $10 for $20 worth of casual dining. Score! I ordered a taro milk tea with boba and 6 piece soy garlic chicken wings combo that came with waffle fries and a fountain soda. My husband ordered chicken & waffles. Everything was delicious!!! I can actually say I prefer their soy garlic wings over BonChon's. Seating is limited as well as parking up front, however, additional parking is available out back. There are self kiosks to place orders. A buzzer number is assigned to let you know when your order is ready for pick up. Menu is pricy IMO, but given how delicious everything was definitely worth it. We will definitely keep this in our Korean fast casual rotation.

Have been waiting forever for this place to open and I'm so glad they finally did! It's my new favorite chicken place in the area. We got a bunch of wings & chicken sando and everything tasted good. Especially enjoyed their Hangry Joe's sauce which reminded me of the raising cane sauce. Price was reasonable for how good the food was. We'll be coming back to satiate our fried chicken cravings! FYI - they don't kid about their spicy level. We ordered medium and our mouth was on fire!

Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken has the BEST chicken sandwich I've ever had! The chicken breast is large, crispy and full of flavor. The toppings paired perfectly with the chicken and their special sauce was delish. The fries were crunchy and also seasoned that I didn't even need sauce for them! The fried okra was also crispy and fresh. The food was just genuinely SO good, literal perfection. The restaurant was also super clean, the staff were very friendly and the food came out so fast! The pricing was also reasonable with large portions! Hangry Joe's just earned two new regular customers! We can't wait to be back.

A fried chicken sandwich always hits the spot and hangry joes definitely did not disappoint. Definitely come in hangry because the chicken sandwiches is gigantic. I got the hot flavor and it was definitely spicy so beware if you can't tolerate spice. However, the spice was balanced with the sweetness of the coleslaw so it wasn't too bad. The Joe's sauce was amazing and i had to have it with everything. I would come back just for that sauce. The chicken tenders were fresh and delicious as well, however they could've used a little bit more batter to make them more crispy. The chicken wings had a good crisp to them and the bbq sauce was perfect too. I will say that the portion of fries could be a bit better but overall really enjoyed our food. Would definitely return to try other items on the menu

This was one of the best salads that I've had in a long time. I decided to try them one day as they are close to my job. The salad was so big and filling. I ate half for lunch and the other half for dinner! I turned my co-workers onto them as well. I will definitely be back. So good!!

The food is consistently exceptional, the drinks are always on point, and the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between lively and welcoming. Whenever friends or family visit from out of town, this is my go-to spot because I know they'll leave impressed. Most recently, I visited for brunch on Saturday and ordered the short rib gnocchi. It was absolutely delicious... rich, flavorful, and incredibly filling. I paired it with the bubbles flight, which featured an assortment of four sparkling wines and was the perfect complement to the meal. Every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. Great food, great drinks, and consistently great experiences. Love this place. Five stars for consistency and great food!

The truffle popcorn was excellent, our child enjoyed the shrimp and fries, and the fresh tuna appetizer was flavorful, although overly sauced. Unfortunately, the scallops with risotto were unacceptable. Both entrees had a strong ammonia-like taste from the first bite, which was immediately noticeable to both of us. We were unable to get much attention from our server due to how busy the restaurant was, but the dishes were left mostly untouched for a reason. For a $40 entrée, we expected much better quality and execution. Sadly, The Food Market did not deliver.

I was…read moreactually surprised during my visit, because I was really thinking that this was going to be one of those awesome 5-star experiences, but it just wasn't. As I approached this business, I found the outside to be clean and the landscaping was pleasant. After entering, I was immediately faced with a bunch of kiosks for customers to place their orders. I just don't like kiosks. To me, this just shows me a business that is trying to reduce their customer service by not hiring cashiers and making the customer perform the cashier's job with no cost benefit to the customer. After placing my order, I was then questioned with how much I would like to tip. I found this to be even more annoying. What am I tipping for? The quality of the food?...I haven't eaten it yet. The quality of the service?...I haven't received any yet. Tipping BEFORE any experience is ridiculous and presumptuous. To me, tipping is a way for the customer to show that they are satisfied (or highly satisfied) with the experience they have had AFTER they have had it. I ended up ordering the double SmokeShack Burger, which comes with two beef patties, cheese, bacon, cherry peppers, and ShackSauce. The burger was really delicious, but I was surprised by how small it was for being a double. I also ordered the Bacon Cheese Fries, which are crinkle cut French fries topped with cheese sauce and bacon. This was pretty good too, but not as good as I thought it would be. For my drink I was going to get a soda-pop, but then I decided to try their Shack-Made Lemonade. It tasted weird, and I regretted getting it. I was served at my table by a server who delivered my food without saying a word. While eating my meal, I noticed that the inside of the restaurant looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. In fact, I did not see anyone cleaning anything inside during my entire visit. Even more disturbing was the lack of friendliness of the employees. I kid you not, there were about a dozen people working here during my visit and I did not see a single employee crack a smile...not for anyone. While leaving, I decided to order their Chocolate Blackout Pudding Shake. After getting back to my hotel with this for dessert, I only had a few spoonfuls. Again, this tasted weird. I ended up throwing out 90% of it because it just wasn't very tasty. In total, I spent over $33, which is a ridiculously high cost for one fast food meal. In comparison with my favorite fast food restaurant, In-N-Out (primarily in the western U.S.), I can get a similar meal at In-N-Out for about HALF the cost. I don't know about you, but if I pay substantially more I expect a substantially better experience. I hope that the other Shake Shack businesses don't operate like this one; This was NOT a worthwhile experience, especially considering the cost.
