Davonte Smith was my original salesperson, and when I called about a year later with questions about my vehicle he was quick to offer the same level of incredible customer service, in spite of knowing that I wasn't going to be purchasing another car this week (so he wasn't going to be making money off of helping me). Another key to their poor service is preying on women and the assumption they don't recognize when being misled. Oil change center refused to rotate tires said frame was too rusty when my wife took her terrain there. Weeks later needed service for another issue, this time I took it in and not a mention of the frame... since then I'm on the 3rd return visit for same issue.... Only now I'm $1500 into the repair... Now no return calls from the service manager. It's sad, such a hometown place and people you want to work with and support they have no understanding of customer service and what truly is satisfying our needs. I'm writing this review as a warning to others: stay away from Hank Graff Chevrolet in Davison!. On 6/16/2025 I purchased a 2018 Ford F-150 "As Is" which I voiced my concerns before signing the sales person Alex Show told me all used vehicle's go through a thorough inspection. This lead me to trust them and signed the As Is. However, within a week, the truck started shifting poorly and randomly hard shifting. An auto shop diagnosed the issue as a faulty 10-speed transmission that needs to be replaced. When I contacted the salesperson Alex Show he brushed me off, citing the "As Is" contract. The sales manager Kameron Driskell initially offered to help with the transmission costs, but after further investigation revealed the engine was also burning oil and likely needed replacement, they suddenly changed their tune. The sales manager Kameron Driskell claimed they don't inspect used cars and price them based on appearance. When I mentioned seeking further action, they refused to help, citing the "As Is" contract again. The truck is currently not drivable, and the estimated repair cost for both the transmission and engine is over $20,000. I have not even made my first auto payment To make matters worse, I paid off my old auto loan and gave them a down payment which totaled a significant amount of money thinking I was getting a reliable truck. I paid 23k to drive a truck one week around town and now I have no transportation. This experience has turned my life upside down. I'm unable to work, and my son with disabilities can't get to his doctor's appointments. The financial burden is overwhelming. *Avoid this dealership; don't make the same mistake I did. Their service department is horrible! They cant tell me what is causing a low voltage code w/my brake assist they also made a comment that someone may have jumped my car at some point which No-one has at ANY point and so all the did was charge my battery want to send me on my way. When I requested further investigation into it especially since I feel this could possibly be a safety issue and this is a a 2024 Blazer they told me no. This place of business has no problems selling cars but when it comes to taking care of them after the sale they take no pride in it. Even just a couple months ago on this same car in this same service department I had to have my radiator replaced and I was told that there none left in the state or even in the US and they were on back order and bo ship date was given, so they couldn't tell me when my car would be fixed. After we hung up I called another chevy dealer and they had 3 of the exact same radiators that were needed for my car. So I called back up to my service advisor and asked him if they had checked with other local dealers. He told me they had. At that point I said well thats funny, they have some at "said chevy dealership" why cant you get those, of course I got the let me call you back. I got a call back 1/2 hr later about telling me radiator would be done in the next hour half or so. Hmmm what a miracle. Stellar! Had an urgent need to get another vehicle because I do a ton of driving for work, and it was too much to be putting all these miles on 1 car between me and my wife working. Went to the used car lot and found a 2013 Chevy Silverado with low miles and not a bad price tag. Immediately when we walked in we were greeted by Mike Cooper. Very polite, knowledgeable and friendly. He did a lot of work for us and understood our needs and where we wanted to stay as far as a monthly payment. It was Presidents' Day so the financial institutions were closed, but the next morning i get a text that says we were approved and could come get the truck. Unfortunately, i cannot remember the finance guys name but both him and Mr Cooper did an amazing job getting us in this truck WITH a 3 year 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty! We are very happy. Had the car in for service and was a bit shocked that an oil change in near $80 going from about $55 to $80 in basically a year. Seems like quite a big jump and very expensive for what was in the $40s not long ago. Now I have to go every 6 months or look elsewhere for savings. Also had a vehicle in for a front brake service and it was nearly $800. Again very expensive though they did have to add a caliper bracket but still quite expensive. Service overall was good but rep didn't return calls or keep me updated so I had to make several calls trying to reach him. read more

They requested a review, well my hubby left one and it wasn't a good one. Sorry he was not happy with the wait or the bumps we had. this was a review that was only seen by the dealership, so shouldn't be a problem. well a piece of plastic that covers a hitch for off roading by the time I took it in showed the sales guy He let me know about the review and was not happy about it, still sent me to parts, they had the part in stock was under $60. I was finally guided into the bay and the team addressed my needs and got started with my oil change. during this process I sat in the car, and listened to the workers playing around and not really professional. the person filling the oil thought he was funny, pestering the rep underneath the car by repeatedly asking him if he could fill yet, and rushing the tech underneath.... very unprofessional and quite annoying to be honest. when they finally got everything done and guy came over and told me the price and tried to give me invoice.... I informed him I had a coupon and he rolled his eyes at me saying I was supposed to present coupon at check in.... I told him no one checked me in, but let me sit around for almost 15 minutes while they were late for the appointment I made. he didn't say anything just snatched the coupon from me and walked away annoyed. took him at least ten minutes to get back told me to sign and then walked away. completely rude and unwelcoming. the service at graff has gone down hill in a big way. i've never been treated the way I have the last two times, and i've been a customer for over twenty years. ver disappointed in the way things are there now and i'm strongly considering switching dealerships. read more

My boyfriend and I purchased a brand new Tahoe 2 days ago. Not even 24 hours after getting home with the Tahoe we noticed there is a crack in the running board something we didn't notice when looking over the Vehicle before leaving the dealership. When we returned less the 24 hours later with only 36 miles on the Vehicle we were told there was nothing they could do. Although it was our bad for not looking over the running boards we were hopeful they would see it was something that was there when we purchased it. There was some noise coming from the back of the vehicle and although I did buy this SUV as it is I was not expecting $700 worth of brake work. The rear brakes were completely in operative and this dealership sold this car I'm safe and have a Denteley they are OK with it! I spoke to Macon and he told me there is nothing he is willing to do! Spent several hours there yesterday trying to make a purchase. I was told one price for a vehicle that we didn't really want and was told we had to act that night or the deal would be gone. That was fine, the vehicle we wanted would still be an option. We went back the next day. Called the salesman first to make sure no rebates changed. We were assured it was all the same rebates. After another 1.5 hrs of driving we arrived to purchase the vehicle and were told it would be $25 more per month because they had already given out their allotment of deals that day. It was funny because the day prior we could get the deal 45 min before they closed and hadn't given out all their "deals". But at 2pm on a Tuesday, they were all out. After questioning the sales manager, I dealt with a rude condescending person named Toni that wanted to explain how long she's been in the business and she just can't do it. Even though we were told before we drove there that all the rebates were the same! We wouldn't have wasted 3 hrs driving round trip if we knew the deal would change when we got there. To top it off I'm told that if someone doesn't show up to get the deal that night then maybe I can still get one. I'm here! I'm ready to buy a truck! Not here to play your games! My fiancé and I spent close to 7,000$ cash here looking for a decent pick up truck that would get him to and from work. We drove the truck 3 times putting less that 100 on miles on it u til the engine started sounding like a kid beating the drums. We expressed our disappointment as we are a young couple on a fixed income expecting a baby in less than a month, the best they could do is knock off 3$ an hour for labor. How disgusting you should have just kept that to yourself why even bother. To get this truck up and mobile again we are looking at close to $3,000.00 in labor/parts from another mechanic. Very shady deal and there is very good suspicion that you knew very clear what was wrong with the truck before you sold it to us. I could never do that to someone I hope you go to hell and we are pursuing legal action even if we don't win it's worth the time and filling fee. If you want to burn 7,000$ to have a vehicle last a week, and another 3,000$ to have it mobile this is your place to go! Also to be noted this how we were treated, We brought the truck in to have them look at it at about 10 am on a Monday and they didn't even LOOK at it until Wednesday late in the evening. I purchased a certified used 2013 Chevy captiva in October of 2016. Last week my car shut down. Apparently this vehicle has an engine known for ill fitting piston rings that cause my car to run out of oil extremely fast. I've looked into it, and there are even class action lawsuits with gm about this issue... however only including cars bought new. But this dealership knowingly sold me this car, with this faulty engine all the while fixing other cars with this problem. They did not disclose any engine problems to me whatsoever. These guys are super greedy! I bought a 2015 Chevy Malibu from them 4 years ago, and I remember I didn't even have it a month before it started having issues and when I would take it in under the dealer warranty they would be reluctant to fix my issue, and tell me my issue shouldn't be covered under dealer warranty and complained about fixing it the three times i brought it in (One I know was cause mice chewed through the soy coated wires, which is a known problem). Recently I went in to sell my car, I thought I would go to them because they sold me the car maybe they would give me a good deal. KBB offer was 13k and they wouldn't go higher than 9k. When it was in as good as condition as when I bought it from them at 17k. a couple minor scratches on the lower bumper shouldn't have taken 3-4k off the deal. I told them it was a bad offer and Ryan Page started raising his voice at me "It has scratches!" brings it down that far?? then he tried to feed me some more salesman nonsense. So I left since they had no interest in even haggling with me. So I went to three other dealerships, all of them offered me more, and I was able to haggle 2 of them even closer to the KBB value. I recently had a Interview at HankGraff for a Billing position. I was interviewed by Multiple people,My Interview was wonderful(So I thought ) 2 days later I get a call to go in for my drug test. I arrived at McLaren occupational Center off Hill rd today 5-5-2022. When I arrived I was ignored by staff at McLaren for 25 plus minute before anyone even acknowledged me standing at the window while the workers sat in front of me playing on their phones ignoring me completely). I had a very full bladder (due to having to do my drug test for pre-employment) and was told to arrive with a full bladder and be there at 1pm as I arrived right on time. I was told I had to do a physical (I find very unnecessary due to the fact it is a desk job) and I had over a 2 hour wait before I was to be seen when HankGraff themself set the appointment up so I would not have had to wait at all. They wouldn't allow me to go to the bathroom until I filled out multiple packets that had nothing to do with my drug test and or my Job but everything to do with Covid an my personal Health information I was uncomfortable sharing. The staff at McLaren who Hank Graff Partners with for drug testing treated me so poorly as if I was a stray dog. I then called Erin the lady in charge of billing at HankGraff who set up my appointment to inform her of the poor treatment I was receiving, she then said she made a call an I would be called back shortly. Not even five minutes after getting off the phone with her I then Received another phone call from HankGraff and it was a man named tony, or Jason I'm unsure of the guys name. He then began speaking to me very unprofessional, using cuss words at me, told me "I don't want her F***k you come get your $34.00 for your reimbursement" and hung up on me!! NOT only was I treated poorly by the company I was about to start employment with but I was treated poorly by McLaren that they partner with for their drug testing.( As they told me I could only go through McLaren no other facility for my drug test) HankGraff never called to apologize for the way I was spoke to,or treated!! I have yet to be reimbursed for a drug test I didn't even get to receive. HankGraff of Davison is poorly Ran, they make you feel special during your interview and then they feel it's ok to talk and treat people anyway they feel like. My husband and I were staying in the Davison area on vacation (camping) when the service indicator warning light came on in his truck. We could hear that the engine was hesitating. We called the dealership and they were able to get us in first thing the next morning. They arranged a ride for us back to the campground for the day. They were very friendly and accommodating and it was so appreciated that they were able to get this fixed for us so soon. They found the problem and fixed it. Even though I was buying an inexpensive car to use as my 2nd car he took his time with me and went above and beyond to make the experience pleasant. I commented to him that I got a stone chip in my windshield on the way down to the dealership to buy the car and he arranged to have the chip fixed free of charge. Now that is customer service. Typical salesperson process! I have one question when I go shopping for a new vehicle and that's how much! Took about an hour to get my rates and work some numbers on a lease. They seemed a little high so I tried Randy Wise Chevrolet and ended up getting twice the car for 70 less per payment on a 280.00 payment... that's huge! Leasing is very complicated, my advice is always shop around if your planning on leasing you will be surprised at how many different prices you will get for the same vehicle. read more

I was suggested to go to Hank Graff by a friend and had been sold a used car by Todd Bailey at the end of August in 2022. As I was sold the car I was told to be easy on it, as I was. Mid September I was left stranded on the side of the road and had to take it to a mechanic had one issue fixed that I thought was the problem. Not even a month later my car left me stranded again, and I took it back to the same mechanic and they fixed another issue. A month later maybe even less, my car died on me while I was driving down the road had to immediately park it in a driveway. Had it towed to a different mechanic and also decided to call Todd Bailey and tell him about my problem his words " What am I supposed to have a crystal ball or something and know everything about the car?" Did not offer me any help but for me to pay for it to get fixed by their shop. After already fixing it for the third time. I have now lost my job over this vehicle because I could not make it to work or I could not make it to work on time. I have been left stranded on the road countless times and paid for countless towing fees. I have been stranded for the past 3 weeks or so because my car started over heating. I had my car finally towed to another mechanic for another look and this mechanics words " it will cost more to fix my vehicle than what the vehicle is even worth!" But now Todd Bailey just wants to junk the car and can now get me into a good car with full coverage, mind you he couldn't do that for me before hand but now after losing my job and my daily driver and leaving me with a loan I now can not pay off because i lost my job and my daily driver, he can get me a good vehicle!!! Todd Bailey also denied me of any rental car not only to get me back and forth to work in order to provide a source of income to pay my bills including this loan I am left with but to also provide a replacement vehicle. Stopped in for an oil change. The write up area was completely empty. Not a car to be found. There were at least 6, maybe even 8 employees standing around doing nothing. I was told that they were unable to do my oil change because I did not have an appointment. When I pointed out that there were no other customers, I was told by the cocky writer ( who looked about 16) that he was going to send some of "his guys" to lunch in "a while" so I needed to schedule an appointment for a minimum of 1 1/2 hrs out today and always. Again I pointed out that there were no cars in there and asked if her was willing to lose my business. He obviously didn't care in the least. What a great way to treat your loyal customers!! This could have been handled in about 100 different ways, all would have been better than it was. Not that it matters but I am a woman driving a $100,000 Escalade. Don't expect to buy a good used car here. I bought a car from them, salesman was nice, but the car popped a check engine light the day after I bought it for a timing chain issue. ($2000+ repair) I firmly believe they sold me the car knowing it had that issue, easy to pull the battery cable and clear the code for about 100 miles. Sales manager did nothing to help me in the situation, no return, no discount, no offer to fix, no exchange, just deal with it. My salesman suggested I take it to a shop he knows about, to save money...Where I work, we believe customer service and satisfaction comes before making money, Hank Graff of Davison happens to think otherwise. Will no longer be using this dealership. For the 8yrs I've been in area always brought my cars there- two Malibus, an Equinox and a Cruz. Always dealt w/a service advisor Jason. Jason was great. Even if you got bad news about your car he always made you feel that he went out of his way to accommodate you. Brought my Cruz in as a plastic gear broke that went to the actuator which controls the defroster. It is a common problem with Chevy models and GM knows about it. Estimate was well over $900 for a part that might cost ten bucks. I understand that you have to remove some of the dash but close to a thousand bucks? But that wasn't my issue. $150 for them to diagnose. Yes, I signed that agreement but I could understand if they spent an hour or so diagnosing the problem or hooking up diagnostics. I know they didn't - this is a well known problem with these models. And this service advisor was not in the league as the guy I used to deal with. Done with Graff Chevrolet!!!! read more

Took my impala in for some warranty work. It's making rattle and squeak noises in the front and rear as well as rocking back and forth on the highway like a buggy with no sick absorbers. The driver window wouldn't roll up. The rear defogger was not working. And the airbag system kept throwing lights and codes(third or fourth time in for this, but second time at graff) and a few other concerns (lifter tap, roll forward on start) which I was not sure were truly to be concerned about but wanted checked while it was in since there is at least a $100 deductible for each visit. I have a GMPP Major Guard (bumper to bumper) warranty. Which includes roadside and rental coverage if your vehicle needs service lasting more than 2 labor hours. I was told they would need a day and a half just to diagnose my issues to see if they're covered and would be responsible for over $600 in diagnostic fees if my parts weren't covered. After some argument that I had not paid $1,640 to be without a car for more than a day, I was finally sent to enterprise (which on the plus is conveniently on their lot) to get my covered rental. I go about my day and a couple hours later, I get a call that while "testing some electrical systems" they had killed my battery and that I should replace it for a cost of $178. Which I declined as my battery was fine when I brought it to them and is still fine today (14.1+ volts on multimeter). The next day I get a call at around 4:30pm and I'm to return the loaner by 6 or be charged am extra day. My car is done but I owe my deductible plus $34 because they could not "duplicate" my suspension issues. Dropped everything which as any busy patent knows is no easy task, rushed over there and picked it up paid my 134 and change (car was running when brought in to me). I was also informed the technician had located an oil and vacuum leak coming from the intake manifold gasket, so that had been replaced. Well I take her home and sure enough mild clunking and rattling on side roads, bucking back and forth on the highway, but I am too hot at the time to go back, and I had just made the 6 o'clock deadline so they were closed. Start it the next morning and the lifter tick is now much louder. Check my oil only to find it more than a quart low (hmmm, oil leak repaired). Changed the oil, and thankfully that had quieted down. But who fixes an oil leak and doesn't have the courtesy to top off the oil, or at least inform me it is low. Graff Davison, that's who. I get a call the next week to check on my "satisfaction". I call back and speak with the woman who called (took me 2weeks to talk myself into being nice). But how does she respond to my concerns. Bring it back, let us have another look, no mention of who pays for this look. I tell her, I am a parent, a husband, have up until recently been the breadwinner of the family. Until my mother fell ill and I had to become her caregiver. I tell her that I will have to find another $100 and the time to give up my vehicle or at least get it back and forth. Still no acceptance of responsibility. Well, no thank you Hank Graff of Davison. I'll be taking my car to muffler man to be checked out for free. Then I'll be taking it to another dealer(I'm pretty sure I have to use a dealer for GM warranty work) with a written estimate from a real mechanic. My wife took her Traverse in for a recall and I met her out there with intentions of going to Kroger to do our shopping. When I got there, she and Shue were talking and next thing I know we are talking about the rebates on the 2013 trucks. Well this turned out to be the day I trade my 2008 Silverado in for a 2013. I've been to Hank Graff in Davison more a few times looking to do business. If you're looking to save some money this is not the place to go. I'm not saying their work is bad because it's not they're just a little pricey. As a matter of FACT I went to GRAFFS to have them service some rust on my car. Beyond my belief they gave me a quote of " 5 THOUSAND DOLLARS " to have a small hole patched up. I have one other thing I would like to talk about in my review. In service write up department I had noticed that a "few" of the workers were not friendly at all, almost to the point of sensing hostility from those not so positive employees. To say the least I am very disappointed in those " not so friendly " employees in service write up. I love Graffs and they do have a wonderful staff but those negative pupils really set of a negative vibe about their business so it seems to me . read more

If you look at the reviews, the sales staff is good at selling, but don't expect good service after the sale. We felt ripped off by the service department and the owner Hank Graff's son Chris.The dollar was more important than retaining a customer. Their commercial says they "treat their customers like they want to be treated"--poorly. read more
