I came in because I had a bolt in my tire. The business had been open for only 10 minutes and I still had to wait while the guy was on the computer. Once he did finally come over he said it would be an hour. No one was working but there were 3 customers standing in line. read more

Shaun at Munro is completely unprofessional. I stopped in to have my tire looked at, I walked in the door and interrupted him watching videos on his phone. he didn't greet me or anything, just continues to watch and laugh at whatever was playing on his phone. I finally said hello and he said hello, and asked what he could do to help. I told him I needed a new tire and asked what he recommended. He said he would come out to the parking lot where my car was and take a look. As I was walking out to my car the business phone rang, and since he was the only one there he answered it. Not a big deal I understand that, however after waiting outside in the cold for almost ten mins, I came back in and he was finishing the video I interrupted him watching in the first place. He sat there on his cell phone watching and laughing at videos after he told me he'd be right outside to assist. His lack of professionalism and snarky attitude will prevent me from ever doing business at this location ever again. read more

I made an appointment online with Monro/KanRock tire via their website, which was confirmed by them through email. I arrived early to my appointment and was shocked at how rude Jim at the front desk as being toward the elderly gentleman looking for price information. When it was my turn, I informed him I was there for my appointment. He asked if it was for an oil change, to which I said yes, along with alignment and tire rotation and asked for cost. He became visibly frustrated, threw his hands up and said there was no way. That I could have an oil change but nothing else because they were swamped...I anticipated them being busy, which is why I made the appointment in advance, to begin with. I travel for work and have 2 business trips soon, which is why I needed to ensure my vehicle is in top shape. I run 14 appointment based businesses. I cannot believe the way I was treated, and am appalled with how the gentleman in front of me was treated as well. All they needed to do was: a) not accept the online appointment booking (made almost 2 weeks in advance) b) call/email that they were not going to be able to provide all services originally scheduled, which would have saved me the drive and granted me the opportunity to take my business elsewhere. read more

Ive bought many sets of tires here always had good customer service ,got a screw in tire last week called said couldn't get to until Tuesday called today Monday and was told couldn't do at all this week due to lack of employees .Really you don't have 30 minutes to plug a tire under your warranty for a long time customer . unbelievable ok you just blew it with a 10 plus year customer im going to Discount tire and just replacing all four as there about due cant wait two weeks for you to take 30minutes out of your day for a long term customer .obviously not under the same Shop manager any longer. read more

Took my vehicle in as a tire had a screw in it. The mechanic took the tire off the vehicle and found that the screw was very small and did not puncture the tire. He checked all the other tires and found no problems. I appreciated that they did not charge me for the service. I went to there store to have two tires checked because they were losing air. They said they could fix them. As I was the only one in the room and I saw two cars in the bay I did not think yo ask how long it would take. After sitting there for 2 hours I see my car getting pulled into the bay. Then I watch them go around the car and add air and check the tires then have them come tell me they are not low. I told them I filled them this morning so I was not running on low tires while I drove in to the the shop. Then I watched my tire guy come in go to the calendar in the office and write time down on the calendar at least two months ahead then go back to my car. Then in the middle of taking off the first tire watches as him and the other mechanic showed him something on his phone and sat and talked about it. As the third hour is now covered I get my car back to be charged 52$ to change 2 valve stems and I asked if they saw anything else and was told no just valve stems. I watched as people came in that had appointments be told they were running two hours behind. I listen as the told and older gentleman that there was only one style of Michelin tire that would fit his car and they would cost 1700 and that was with their 35$ a tire warranty. I stopped him outside and told him I put Michelins on my pickup for 1100$ and 7$ per tire warranty somewhere else. He told me he had been here before and now had decide to go somewhere else. I try to use small business and local but my time and money is worth a lot more then their business to me. read more

Don was a very friendly respectful polite representative However he had Chris Mamola an older gentleman without uniform on try to assist us with our inspection. Instead of kindly telling us what was wrong he became very disrespectful and verbally aggressive, he even walked away as we were trying to ask him questions and made us want to leave immediately. We did not feel welcomed and should never have to go through that at a professional place of business. Monro was our go to oil change place but after this i'd recommend just about anywhere else. Chris should never be allowed to speak with customers if he cant be mature enough to hold a respectful conversation. Thanks to team working last weekend at Monro Auto Service in Davison, Michigan for rescuing us when we had automotive problems away from home! Special thanks to Donald Morris for helping us late Saturday and squeezing in our repairs on Sunday. We were able to get everything completed (thanks to manager/mechanic Chris) and were on our way home. This location provided exceptional services for us! Sometimes we throw out the term Customer Service without really thinking. Monroe Muffler exemplifies Great Customer Service with extremely reasonable prices and wonderful staff that are very helpful and flexible with requests. My wife went there to get a flat tire fixed, always a crap shoot, and was treated with respect and kindness. We recently returned to get our snow tires put on and they were very helpful. Kudos Munro Muffler. You guys should be proud of yourselves. read more

Just an FYI, just lost a customer!!! Received a card in the mail for oil change $17.99, went online scheduled appointment around my busy work schedule, went to appointment, was informed they no longer carry conventional oil and with the coupon my oil change would be $40. But did offer that Lapeer and Clio still carry the conventional oil and the coupon I received wasn't from the Davison location. SERIOUSLY, the address on the Monro on my coupon is 511 S State Rd, Davison, MI 48423 and if everyone will notice, this website for the Davison Monro is still advertising the $17.99 oil change...Shame on you for false advertising and no more recommendations from me.
