I went to Muffler Man on N. State Rd in Davison, MI for my first time this morning and I am so grateful I did. I am very impressed, Ryan was so decent and honest, showed me what I needed and gave me a couple options. I was so pleased with the great work he did and the price that I paid. I will definitely go back, when I need their services again. So nice finding a really awesome repair shop, that had others there while I was and they were repeat customers, on a first name basis, this says a lot to me, about their credibility. I needed a starter put on my truck. I stopped in the morning on the Friday after thanksgiving they told me the cost and the cost if I brought in the part. They also told me it was first come first serve and they were not to busy that day. I ran to my parts guy got me started and picked my truck up two hours later done for less then what she had quoted me. So I went to maddens and got the building a gift card so they could have a drink on me after work. Great small business near my hours that were honest and hurried to get the job done. read more

We had an absolute horrible experience with this place. They give quotes to fix things and when they were not fixed properly they would not fix the problem or offer us a refund. We were directed to corporate and they were completely unprofessional. When we finally stated we were going to contest the charges with the credit card company and tell other people to not go to their buisness, the guy says "good, go for it." read more

Davison muffler man is the only place I trust with my Jeep. They know their regulars by name and they're always honest on prices and what actually needs to be done. They've helped me out in several binds, stayed late to get a job done for me, etc. Finding a quality shop is HARD these days. I recently moved out of state and still take my Jeep here to muffler man when I come home to visit family. I don't let anyone else work on my stuff if it can wait. Muffler man is worth it! read more

I put my 2003 cavalier in to this muffler man location a couple months ago for new brakes, stabilizer bar, and bushings. My dad paid $513 for all of it and when we picked up my car it was fine... At first. I drove home with no issues, but driving home from a friends house later proved to be different. My brake pedal was going straight to the floor and my car was taking very long to slow down and stop. I could smell nothing but burning brake fluid when I got out at home. We took it back in the next day to complain and have them fix their mistake, which they did for free, and while my dad was driving my car there he actually had to get out and push my front passenger tire more on to my car because it was falling off! Will never go there again, definitely don't recommend this shop. There are plenty of automotive places in Davison and flint, and on davison rd almost to sort highway there is a much better muffler man! read more

Absolutely love this place! The lady that works at the counter is a doll, super friendly! The only place I get my oil changed anymore. I love the option to drop my car off or come back at a certain time. Cheapest oil change ever at $13.36. There are snacks and drinks available while you sit and wait, or my favorite, just walk next door to Madden's and get a beer! Max wait time is 20-30 minutes for an oil change. I love the free air fresheners I receive every time I get an oil change as well. I will continue to return to this Muffler man for many more Oil changes! read more

Went into get my power steering fluid line replaced, for 2 parts and labor they wanted $400.00 that at that time I didn't have, a week later the line breaks completely and I have to go to the one in Clio, because it was where it break happened, same 2 parts and labor and they charged me $140.00... now because I'm a woman they completely took advantage and tried to price gouge me...me and my family will never trust this place again. read more

My daughter took her car to muffler man of davison for a new starter. They put a new one in and charged her 200 dollars. A few days later her car would not start so she took it took it to kearsley auto and they told her the reason it would not start is because the positive cable was fried and drawing to much juice causing the starter she just bought at muffler man to be ruined. She tried to take the starter back to muffler man and they Refused to refund her the price of a new starter, They are alleged certified mechanics and should of never let her car out without seeing if it was drawing any extra juice. I was very displeased with muffler man and if you want it done right the 1st then go to Kearsley auto!! read more
