Great food, tasty burgers and loved the Pazookie! Super friendly staff delivered exceptional service and lots of smiles!

We stopped in at Hanks Bistro & Brew in Eden, Utah and it immediately looked like a fun spot for brunch. Luckily for us, Sunday was brunch day -- and wow, did we score! I ordered the Hank's Smashburger which comes with two juicy brisket/short rib/chuck patties, melted American cheese, grilled onions, BBQ aioli, and a few jalapeños for good measure. One heck of a burger -- I couldn't believe how good it was. The Hank's Potatoes (red potatoes, onions, cheese, and bacon) were total hearty, soul-food perfection. After that, I had to dive into a scone with that heavenly honey butter. And you just can't leave without the Pie-Zuki -- a chocolate chip cookie topped with ice cream and whipped cream. Absolute dessert insanity in the best way. The dining room was cozy and comfortable. We even caught the Broncos playoff game while we ate. Loved seeing the picture of Hank on the wall -- he looks like a very good boy! We'll definitely be heading back to Hanks soon. Well worth the drive from Ogden Valley. We decided to try a new spot for something different and man did we pick a good one. I had the Hank's smash burger with adobo aioli and it was absolutely delicious. The squishy bun is what really sealed the deal for me. It's a cool little setup too with dog friendly outdoor seating. They really bring it all together with their Hank's shirts and apparel with the dog on it and they have the print shop directly next door. I also saw a food truck in the parking lot. They really went all out when they decided to start a business! Everyone was super friendly too and the food came out quickly. I'll definitely be back on a Sunday to checkout their brunch. read more

A great place to eat! Lots of options and everything we ordered was very good! Between 3 of us we got the shrimp tacos, steak sandwich, turkey pesto sandwich, fried green beans, and buffalo garlic wings. The salad bar has all the things!! Something cool is that they have popcorn while you wait! The ambiance is cool too! TVs to watch sports, soft lighting, and great music (if you like good country music! 90's country has been on while we have been here). The staff was very nice and helpful. The look of this restaurant is very clean and modern. All the staff are super friendly and attentive. My wife got the shrimp tacos with cilantro lime rice. She said the tacos were good but a bit salty. But she and I loved the rice! I got the PB&J smash burger and sweet potato fries. Both of those were excellent. This is pretty far and out of the way, at least for us. You have to drive through Ogden canyon just to get there, but it seems to be worth the journey! read more

This was our 4th visit to Hank's, and at this point I'm starting to think consistency is their superpower. The Hank's Smash Burger with habanero bacon jelly and garlic aioli is a solid 10/10. If it ever disappears from the menu, I will need a formal grieving period. The Philly Cheesesteak is fantastic--yes, it's a little smaller than your typical Philly, but this is definitely a quality-over-quantity situation. Every bite earns its spot. The steak bowl is another winner. The steak is cooked perfectly, and somehow you leave feeling satisfied instead of needing a nap in the parking lot. And the garlic fries? No notes. Just order them. We came for my son's birthday (whose name is actually Hank, so this place was basically made for him). The staff surprised him with a cookie skillet, and it absolutely made his day. Watching a kid realize a restaurant named Hank's is serving him a birthday dessert is pretty hard to beat. What impresses me most is that we've visited on completely random days and at random times, and the food is always outstanding. No off days. No "maybe the chef is having a rough Tuesday." Just consistently great food and great service. To the owners and staff: whatever you're doing, keep doing it. You've brought a little gold nugget to the Eden area, and we're grateful for it. All I can say is WOW!!! Now this is the kind of meal I want after getting off an early morning flight. The smash burger was cooked to absolute perfection and the pepper jam really tied everything together - never had anything like it. Service was also just incredible - we felt so looked after and everyone was very friendly. My bf's mom mentioned this used to be a food truck so they are just thrilled that they have their own spot now (can you guys open a location in orange county california too?!?) We've been away from the valley for a couple of years, and decided to try Hank's Bistro and Brew before we got our rentals Diamond Peak next door. We absolutely loved it!! We were warmly greeted when we came in. There's a huge menu selection, which we especially loved since our son is a picky eater. We ended up visiting twice on our visit! I loved the Steak Sandwich, and Turkey Pesto Sandwich, while my husband enjoyed the Smash Burger, and fell in love with the Garlic Shrimp Bowl!! The prices for both food and beer are excellent! The staff is very friendly and attentive. The ambience is very casual. And I love that there are not only several tv's showing sports, but one special one just for pictures of Hank, the Golden retriever!! Thank you, Hank's!! Our family has dined here several times going back to when they first opened and have always had a good meal. The food is delicious. It really is comfort food. They have good specials. On a recent visit I was impressed by one of the owners taking the time to talk with me and with one of the wait staff who was something of a mind reader when she offered to change a TV channel for the World Cup. We will continue to come back when we stay in Eden. And make sure you catch all the cool action shots of the mascot who is something of an adventurer. read more

Hands down, the best damned smash burger I've ever eaten. What a great new spot to enjoy dinner. I didn't have breakfast or lunch but would have to think the food would be just as amazing. The service was friendly and helpful. This would be a great place to bring younger kids (there were at least 3-4 families with kids and the kids all looked like they were enjoying the food). Had dinner last night. Every employee was engaging and helpful. The chicken wings were amazing! Crispy, juicy and a garlic topping. Best ever. A black and blue burger and a smash burger were perfection, the bun was even perfect! Salad bar was fresh with a great range of choices. I had the steak bowl. Wow, so happy for a solid restaurant in Eden! We came here after skiing in powder mountain and the kids were ravenous. The menu is pretty well rounded with burgers, pizzas, "main dishes" appetizers and a variety of beers. Since it was an early dinner for us, I wasn't too hungry and shared a burger with fries with my husband. We chose the habanero bacon jam and garlic aioli doe the burger. It was so good, we ordered another one! It's smash burger style with 2 patties and grilled onions. Really good. The fries are my favorite kind- more on the skinny side with an extra coat of crispy batter. So well made! The pizzas are smaller at 12" and pretty good. The kids shared this and picky son ate 3 slices. The cheese was cheesing and the crust was chewy. They also have free popcorn which the kids loved. Pretty good for Eden! We came here after a cheap lil' ski trip to Nordic Valley. Starving, we ordered the most popular item on their menu, the SMASHBURGER. The concept of this place is similar to a fast casual restaurant: order up front, pay, and sit down anywhere. They deliver the food to the table, you clean it up (a very nice man that worked there helped us take our trash to the garbage). I chose the garlic aioli and as seen in my picture, they put a load of it on (a GREAT thing)! I was a little sad to see the burger had nothing green on it, only some grilled onions. Luckily, they had sweet relish packets at the front I used inside my burger for health. The fries tasted double fried, extra crispy but extra greasy; not my favorite. The waitress was nice, as our first time, she made sure we knew all the details before placing our order. She also offered a side of fry sauce for us when delivering the food. Rating is a 4.5 total for me, because the only thing good on their menu is the smashburger! I was shocked to see the salad bar option was almost $14. I can tell no one selects that option when eating here. All the workers were very friendly and told us goodbye as we left! read more

Loved everything about our first visit to Hank's! The service was fast and friendly, no wait time for a table as they weren't too crowded, and the food was delicious! We got the chipotle chicken bowl, it wasn't bad but wasn't spectacular. My husband got the PB&J burger with the gluten free bread. The bread held up really well! And he said all of the toppings were great. But the burger itself didn't taste like beef, it tasted very strongly of a hot dog.
