Yes, that's actually the name, and it's said to be the longest name of a place in the United States and one of the longest in the world. This lake is also called Lake Webster (if you can't guess why - try pronouncing the Native American version a few times!). It is 3.25 miles, and at its widest point it is 1.125 miles. It is the largest natural lake found in Massachusetts, Connecticut, or Rhode Island, demonstrating that southern New England doesn't have many large lakes. The gas station team is always very prompt and friendly. This is the best gas station on the lake. It is the only gas station on the lake! We love the old time lake look of the facade. It's such a fun community here, where everybody is friends and everybody helps each other out. They run a very tight ship here, and everything is always clean and maintained. There's always a dockhand working, to help you out with whatever you need, which I love because I'm not the best at docking! They also have super clean restrooms and showers available. Paula is usually at the desk, and has always been helpful (and fun to chat with).
