I've used Hannah Nails for many years but no more. They have always been rude about talking in their own language and not speaking English, but the girl today stayed on her phone, reading texts, replying to texts and sharing with the nail tech working beside us. They both were laughing and carrying on instead of paying attention to myself and the lady beside me. Cell phones should be for personal time. Not when you have a customer. I was out in Nacogdoches visiting my boyfriend's family. As a Christmas present I told his mom I would take her to get her nails done. She picked Hannah Nails & Spa. I thought the place was cute and it was nice that they had cute little chairs for kids pedicures. I asked for a pedi/ mani. My pedi was nice. I had a very nice girl. However, my boyfriend's mom had Hannah who butchered her nails. She cut her several times whiling doing her nails. When she put the thinner on her nails it burned her so bad. I felt bad that my Christmas present to her was causing her pain. She kept a stiff lip and didn't complain to Hannah. When I went to the dryer to have my mani dry it took about 12 minutes before my nails could dry. I'm used to my nails drying in about 5 mins in California. So I tried to put my shoes on and I smudged my paint bc it was still wet. I asked if the girl to touch it up and she did with a smile. While sitting at the table with a fan on my hands to try my wet fingers quicker. Hannah asked that my friends get my purse to pay sooner. She said "your friends can get your money to pay now, yes?". I thought to myself, "how rude?". I waited extra long for my nails to dry and paid the gentleman in the front. He was very nice. I tipped my girl and Hannah saying thank you. As I walked away I heard Hannah start talking very loudly in Vietnamese (I think). I'm guessing she wasn't happy that I didn't tip her as much as the other girl bc she provided poor services and I didn't appreciate her comment about rushing me to pay. It's was a couple weeks later when I removed the nail polish from my nails to see that the nail polish they used (an OPI light pink) had turned my natural nails yellow. I'm so sad that my nails are ruined. I'm not sure if the base coat is at fault or if the salon added something to the OPI nail polish. read more

I made an appointment for 2:15 and arrived a bit earlier. I checked in and got sat immediately but another lady came in for a pedicure and I assume the owner? Told the lady that started on my nails to go do the pedicure so I had to move seats to the other side. I didn't have a problem with it because they seemed a little busy. When I sat down another lady started on my nails and then disappeared for 5 minutes and came back with tea. But she did the first hand and when she got to the second hand she missed an entire second coat of dip powder. At first I didn't wanna point it out but I don't get my nails done often so I spoke up. I hate to do this because when this salon first opened it was awesome... but it has gone way down hill in many ways. So, my pedicure cracked and peeled day TWO and it has done this the last two times I've been there. I know it's not just the wear I put on them either, because I went to another nail salon the next week and my paint looks almost perfect 3 weeks later. The lady who did my dip has been there forever and she did an awful job... my nails were thick and bumpy and she shaved my natural nail down so thin that I could feel my nail bed burning. I could tell she was in a rush and didn't care how they turned out because when I brought to her attention a spot she completely missed she said it'll look fine when I'm finished. Which it absolutely did not. This final thing is the nail in the coffin for me, and honestly I wonder if anyone else had had this issue because I'm sure they have. The past two times I got my nails done I ended up with a fungal infection under my nails. The first time it wasn't so bad, I figured it was something I did, maybe not maintaining them properly but this time I have a fungal infection under EVERY SINGLE NAIL. And from experience, it's not easy to get rid of and it's painful... I'm never going back to Hannah's and like I said I'm sad this is the case because I used to love going there... I went in asking for pink marble nails and they told me they were unable to do the design. I appreciated the honesty and went to show my back up option, hot pink ombre. However when she started, she was unable to blend the colors. So we scratched that and I ended up with classic nude. The beginning started off alright until she realized she was the last one working, then she began to get sloppy. She didn't even allow me to wash my hands to get the residue off. I left the chair with dusty and unevenly shaped nails. Overall, I'm glad they were honest with what they could do but I am not pleased with a rushed nail job. read more

The nail techs here really take their time and pay attention to detail, unlike other nail salons in this area. They are one of few places that do the dipping powder (better for nails than shellac), and the color options are endless. The pedicure chairs are comfy and the massage options actually work. I've never given a review of any business but I felt compelled to write one. This nail salon does not practice important sanitary practices. The pedicure bowls do not have disposable plastic liners. I watch the water fill up with dirt and hair. They just toss in a blue tablet which I hope is not their primary cleaning method. They also do not sanitize their tools from one person to the next. They pulled random pedicure tools from their bucket. I watched as she used the same tools from one person to the next. I honestly didn't want to embarrass myself but should have left as soon as I saw they don't have sanitary liners in their pedicure bowls. I have been a loyal customer for several years. The shop is always clean, and the staff is friendly. Tom is the best!! I do recommend making an appointment if you have a preferred technician or a large party. I've been a faithful customer but recently when I got a pedi and mani the lady that did it rushed. My feet suppose to be shellac but the nail polish she applied weren't smooth and dry yet . My fingers was handled roughly plus the color doesn't match with my feet and didn't even know as I asked. When I was done thinking everything were decent I had to come back because everything were messed up.. I did my nails and feet Saturday and today is Tuesday and the shellac on my feet is came off!! She filed my nails unevenly, refused to give me the service I asked for saying that "it was pointless" (although I'm certain she said that because she wanted to get rid of me). They did a mediocre job at NexGen on my nails, the woman did not even pre-soak my nails or cut my cuticles at all. All she did was the dip powder and it was $45!! After asking her why she did not soak my nails prior, she told me it would be an extra five dollars even though I know for a fact I have gotten my nails presoaked before and it was included in the price, I will not be back. read more

They are very efficient in their work; I managed to make it round trip to my home in 40 minutes (it felt very rushed). I was immediately seated post picking my polish. The man who gave me a pedicure spoke very little English whatsoever, and none of the employees were very personable. I only heard one employee speak English and that was when I was paying. The quality of the pedicure wasn't what I was expecting for the price. I've noticed that the polish is bulged on one of my toes because it didn't have time to dry at all between coats. Also, there is streaking in the topcoat of multiple nails and others are lacking polish on chunks of the nail altogether. In all, I could've done the same quality job myself. read more

If I could give this place no start I would. I don't get my nails done often but when I do o get acrylics. I went in and waiting a long time. A lady that came in a good 30 minutes after us got her nails done before us and another lady that was already there because she said it was taking to long and wanted to leave. I showed the image of the nails I wanted to two different nail nechs and they both said they could do it. Long story short, I didn't get the butterflies like in the picture or the color! The man made me bleed and I was charged $75!!!!!! I'll never ever go back to this place. If you want some basic color, this is your place but as a nail Salon you should be accustomed to the trending styles! At least have some designs?? After repeatedly saying no she threw the nail color option thing at me and started yapping about it in Vietnamese. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! OR IT WILL COST YOU DEARLY!!! Do not get ANY service here without confirming the price IN WRITING before they start or you are in for a HUGE surprise! They LIE about their prices when you call to book an appointment. Each person you ask will give you a different price. They charge $20 for gel polish!! So, you go for a $25 pedicure and a $15 manicure it's $20 for gel polish on your toes and ANOTHER $20 for gel polish on your fingers. College students cannot afford a $40 SURPRISE! They overcharged me. Later, I called them to ask the price of the services I received. It confirmed exactly what I should have been charged. I had my receipt and told them I was overcharged and I want them to refund my money. The owner then got on the phone and said the person I was talking to didn't know the correct prices and I was charged the right amount. I would not relent and said she just cannot make up different prices for the same services! It got completely insane and I had to FaceTime with her to show her my manicure and pedicure and the receipt. She then walked around her shop and shoved her phone into the face of each person working there asking me to identify exactly who did my nails. I told her it was not MY responsibility to correct her staff on what the correct pricing was for particular services. I asked again for her to refund what I was overcharged. Again I was refused and she started screaming at me. She's CRAZY!! DO NOT GO IN HERE!!! And to add insult to injury, my GEL nail polish came off in 3 days. I got there at 4 I wanted a full set and regular pedicure she did my pedicure was jerking my leg up to get my heel was pulling me to her to accommodate her. When it got time for my full set 2 other customers had walked in for pedicures and had been waiting for maybe 10-20 minutes and they were telling her that they'd come back and she insisted they stay this took away from getting my nails finished because she walked away from doing my nails to doing 2 other guests pedicures for awhile. Then some other customers came in and she insisted on helping them. Worst nail salon ever! My nails looked like a Pinterest fail! Had to remove polish because they put so many coats on it wouldn't dry! Asked to see the techs licensing and was refused. My feet were left in horrible condition. My soles are red and burning hours later. They even bled. Staff was rude and obviously had no clue what they were doing. Still had to pay. The people here were as nice as you can expect. Problem is - only 2 of the 6 people working seemed to speak any English, which was a little frustrating. Waited 20 minutes in a massage chair before I was helped - which wasn't a big deal. What was a big deal was the fact that they ended up rushing through my gel manicure so they could leave at 7. No nail soak. No cuticle clean up. No lotion. Litterally slapped the Polish on and handed me my bill. They had no problem charging me Full price though. Not the best experience.
