I was in the lower level room, which had a queen & twin bed and a nice big bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub. It was off of a secluded living room down on lower level. The great room/dining room was very roomy as it sat 20 seats at dining tables & almost 10 spots near the fireplace. Bunches of games were available for playing, coffee/tea/cocoa stations available all day & complementary cookies were put out before dinner. Breakfast was excellent... Including OJ and fruit and cream cheese parfait to start, egg bake squares with turkey sausage, crispy hashed potatoes, then fresh baked blueberry muffins to end! It was served family style so you shared w/ your table which was pre-portioned with enough to feed your number. Staff was too nice & very quick w/ refills. Bed was firm but pillows were too flat for me so I doubled up. The porch was wrap around w/ spectacular views of countryside! Worth the trip & would come again!

Clay said grace and Joyanne said about everything else. Just a wonderful couple, full of stories and inquisitive about our lives. She wrote a book about there experiences with the local Amish and told stories of how they used to drive them around. This part of Ohio is all gentle rolling hills with plenty of farmland. We were here in the peak fall color viewing time so it was a little slow getting around. I imagine it's always a little slow all year with all the bikes, buggy's, and tourists. Lots to do and see in the area. We were lucky enough to be here during the towns annual garage sale, so we spent some time shopping these. I bet you would be hard pressed to find someone with a bad disposition around here, everyone seemed quite content with there own pace of life they have sit for themselves. If you are lucky enough to book a room here, make sure you tell them I said hello, they are not the type to read things on line.

We stayed in one of the cabins. It had a small front porch and a small deck out back with a table and chairs. The living area is quite large with a wood burning fireplace, a coffee table that pulls up into a higher table for eating, a tv/dvd player, a pull out couch, a CD player with a few discs, and then on the far side of the room is the jacuzzi tub and a rocker. Off of the living room is the bedroom with a very large bed already made with comfy linens as well as a rocker, small closet and chest of drawers. On the backside of the cabin is a small room with two robes, extra pillows, a small sink, mini-fridge (stocked w/water bottles and a few different sodas), a small coffee pot with coffee, and a few snacks, and a couple of mugs and glasses. Just past that is a shower with a glass door and the toilet and sink. It was very spacious. There was firewood set for us to start a fire once we got settled in, as well as a bin of firewood outside for more as needed. In the main house there is a cozy sitting area. There were a few board games and an array of dvd's to take back to your room if you want to relax and watch a movie. That is also where the dining area is for breakfast. (included with each night's stay) BABYMOON PACKAGE ONLINE DETAILS Our two-night package includes: A two-night stay in one of our luxury cottages with king-size bed, fireplace, two-person Jacuzzi-style whirlpool tub, entertainment center, and private deck Refrigerator stocked with bottled water and soft drinks Homemade cookies and snacks Massages for Mom and dad Romantic dinner basket delivered to the cottage one night Jar of pickles for Mom and candies for Dad A White Oak Inn souvenir stuffed animal for baby *All was included except for jar of pickles during our stay The dinner basket was delightful. Everything tasted warm and fresh. Ours included a fruit and cheese plate, half a loaf of bread, salad, two cornish game hens served over a bed of orzo, a bottle of sparkling cider, as well as two cookies and two slices of cake. YUM! We didn't have to get out in the cold, it was delivered right to our front door. Breakfast both mornings were tasty and plentiful. Day 1: Coffee, Juice, a fruit plate, muffins, asparagus frittata, blueberry oatmeal pancake and bacon. All so good. Day 2: Coffee, Juice, fruit plate, pumpkin chocolate chip muffins, maple sausage patty, herbed eggs and french toast with a berry compote on top. You will not leave this place hungry breakfast or dinner. The masseuse came to our room for our massages. She brought her massage table and put on some light music. We went one at a time. First me then my husband. Both were each an hour long. Only thing I was slightly disappointed about was that it wasn't one of those pregnancy tables that has a hole in the middle for your belly so I had to lay on my side which isn't as comfortable. Had to use a few pillows between my legs and under my head. It's just not ideal, especially for someone like me who was 37 week pregnant, and it's hard/painful having to roll from one side to another. Other than that it was still good, this was my husband's first massage and he enjoyed his as well. Not that it mattered to us but there's not really good phone service here and wifi is only available in the main house. If you need to make a local call though there was a phone in the sitting area in the main house. Definitely recommend for a relaxing get away.
