I came across Dr. Han on Yelp and seeing the positive reviews, decided to make an appointment. Firstly, I would like to say that I am very familiar with acupuncture. I grew up in the Far East and trained in martial arts in Japan and Hong Kong. For almost all my aches and pains, it was either acupressure, acupuncture, herbs and/or teas. I practice Yoga and during a session I managed to inflame my sciatica nerve. From past experience, my first relief is acupuncture and having read Dr. Han's reviews, went to see him. What an enlightening experience!! In my first session he got rid of the pain and in a follow up session, the pain went away completely. I speak Chinese and managed to understand that he was a professor of acupuncture in China and a lot of his students have moved here and are still training them. I am very happy that I got to know Dr. Han. He uses "Cupping", Acupressure and Electrical stimulation in conjunction with the acupuncture.. Being a senior and retired and still physically active, I have a number of other aches and pains that I am going to see him about. On another note, my wife has been suffering from a very bad pain in her right arm for the past six months. It is nerve related. Physical Therapy has not helped and neither is continually taking pain killers an option. I took her to see Dr. Han and like he did with me, her pain went away with one session and required a second follow up to completely get rid of it. I cannot recommend Dr. Han enough. read more

Great Doctor! It was my first time seeing Dr. Han today, i have so much pain on my neck and shoulders, hands are numb too. He did acupuncture then massage than cupping and adjust my neck. As soon as reach the lobby, Dr. Han was there to assist me. Asked me what's my reason for my appointment. Told him my complaints of back pain; right shoulder to the rotator cuff and shoulder blade down to my lower back. Explained to me what procedures he's going to apply then sent me straight to the room. He started with acupuncture then acupressure and finished it cuppings. It was my first to visit the clinic and I was not disappointed with the service. Definitely will not be my last and as a matter of fact I will have a follow up next week. I'd been having neck and back pain below my left shoulder for about 4-5 years. It got to the point where my left arm started to feel tingly and then eventually chronically numb. It not only hurt, but I was having difficulty performing basic functions, such as opening jars or picking up items with my left hand. I went to a massage therapist last summer, and that seemed to help to restore some circulation and movement, then a friend told me about Dr. Han. She and her husband had both had great success with him. Her husband's treatments are covered by insurance, although her insurance has refused to cover hers. But he takes insurance. So far I've been charged $50 a visit without using insurance, so it is reasonably priced. He has given me a variety of treatments during different sessions. They all include acupuncture and a light massage at the end. Sometimes he uses heat or cupping. Every time I have gone, I've felt better. I went twice a week for maybe three weeks when he said I was better and to come back just once a month or so, as needed, for maintenance. What is also nice about Dr. Han is that he is not out to just make a buck. He stopped my treatment before I was sure that it was better, telling me that if I needed it, to call him next week, but he thought I was fine. I was skeptical, but sure enough, he was right. It's been two and a half months and in just now scheduling that tune up. read more

I had gone back to Dr. Han for neck and shoulder pain recently. I was in so much pain when I walked in I was not sure if it would help me. By the end of the treatment I already had felt a huge difference and by the next morning it was almost completely gone. I cannot thank him enough. I went to my family's doctor and they would gave me a shot and gave me some medicine and I have to return to see my doctor several time before I get better. My sister told me family's member refer us to this Chinese Doctor: Han in El Monte, She took me to go see him, He is a very nice Doctor. After he check my condition out, He did some accupuncture and suckson cup on my back, My back is turn into black, I can feel better right after he finish. I was able to walk and when I got home. I've been having shoulder and neck issues for a while now and decided to see Dr. Han. He was able to pinpoint exactly where the problem was and try to fix it. As soon as he was done I noticed a drastic change in the flexibility in my neck. My neck is not as tense or sore as it was when I first came in. Granted this is not necessarily a permanent fix and he recommend I come in for more sessions, I would definitely come back again.
