Sarah is wonderful. I have referred many of my own clients to her. Last weekend my sister-in-law had terrible knee pain and swelling. Sarah was able to squeeze her in for an appt. My SIL was previously told by her physician that her issue was arthritis and offered zero hope. I've been going to taproot for several months now and I'm extremely satisfied with my overall experience. I actually went to 5 different recommendations when my previous acupuncturist told me she was going on a leave and they were a clear favorite. Here are some key points: -Sarah is extremely knowledgeable about acupuncture and Eastern medicine BUT what I love is she is aware/understanding of Western medicine too. This helps when i give her health updates. She's also just a nice, wise, and kind person. Never pushy. I'm so very thankful for Mo and Dr. Sarah! Dr Sarah treated me for frozen shoulder, tennis elbow and bladder inflammation. Yes- she's a super hero. I now have full range of motion and am pain free in my shoulder. My tennis elbow has improved significantly and continues to improve. My bladder pain and inflammation is an ongoing problem of mine. This review is long due, my family has been blessed with meeting Dr. Sarah. I came to her after hard time conceiving baby, 2 failures, terrible breakout due to clomid side effect. I was highly stressed and my body was like a broken grill (cry) Looking for IVF and found Dr. Sarah, I wanted to try the holistic approach to recover my inner health first to repair imbalances inside so that I can better prepare for success or if better I can have a baby without IVF Dr. Sarah said it would take 3-4 months for women reproductive health to be improved. Over the past couple of years I've developed chronic pain and tension where most of us suffer due to accumulated stress - in my shoulders and neck. Moreover, I've developed multiple large knots/muscle spasms in those areas that make it difficult to relax let alone fall asleep. I'm an athlete, and I have a very physical job. I also have scoliosis, and a spinal fusion so my back is fused together from T4-L4. I recently suffered an injury to my L4-L5 disc. I could hardly get in and out of bed, I couldn't stand up straight, I could hardly get in and out of my car, and moving had just been so painful. I'd never tried acupuncture before, but a friend recommended Dr. Sarah, and mentioned that acupuncture could help if added to my recovery. Sarah made me feel so comfortable with the needles before she even started inserting them! She was so knowledgeable about my condition, and seemed to know EXACTLY where to insert the needles, and you could tell that each needle was strategically placed. She also answered some other questions about my health. Sarah also performed traditional fire cupping and Gua Sha. OH MY GOODNESS! When I got off the table, I felt like I was ready to lift ALL of the weights, and run EVERYWHERE!I didn't, because I knew I wasn't ready yet, but I felt soooo much better. This is my first time doing acupuncture and I'm glad I found Dr. Bentolila. She has been great. I came to her because of 12 years of bleeding that I've been experiencing. I had been to so many doctors and nobody had helped me because they said that everything I was dealing with was normal. They were gaslighting me the whole time. I went to her and she validated that what I had been dealing with was not normal. She broke everything down for me and gave it to me straight. She explained what could be done and what the possibilities were. She encouraged me to go back and seek out another doctor because, from what I was saying, I was probably going to need surgery.
