Hipster sausage spot right on the edge of the (touristy) old town. Definitely the best place around for a quick lunch away from all the tourists. All the "Hot Dogs" were great. The bread was phenomenal. The sauces were spot on. The spicy sausage was not really spicy, but it was really delicious. The local beer paired perfectly. I want to eat another one! Highly recommended! read more

Hans W is a gourmet wurst shop situated directly infront of the Monchsberg hill, about a 5 minute walk from Mozart's House. Their wurst comes loaded with interesting combinations of fresh toppings. Unfortunately, the actual meat was not as crispy as we would have liked, but overall we still enjoyed our meal. We would suggest you order it extra crispy. read more

Great gourmet Hot Dog joint with local craft beer. We had the spicy beef hot dog with the spicy mayo and it did not disappoint. The roasties reminded us of reimagined tater tots. Our server/cook spoke English and was super friendly. Definitely a must lunch spot in Salzburg. read more

Only slightly off the beaten path, Hans W was my favorite lunch so far; the single best wurst I've had in Bavaria/Austria. Very reasonable prices too. I can't recommend this enough for a touristy lunch. The decor is also trendy and the service attentive (by the standards of the area). read more

By far the best hotdog/bratwurst I have ever eaten (I have been living in Germany for 8 months & have tried a lot). The restaurant is trendy, the staff is attentive and nice, the prices are VERY reasonable (€5.80 for any 12in dog/brat on the menu)...but the food...just fantastic! I will definitely be back! I would highly recommend this small restaurant to anyone adventurous enough to try a gourmet hotdog! read more
