The sites range from level to very uneven. The main roads are paved and not terribly steep. Some of the sites are tight quarters to your neighbor others seem to have a bit more space. Lots of shade! Rustic shower buildings that are coin operated at 25¢ for 5-6 minutes. 50¢ was plenty of time. Dish wash stations are located at these buildings which is nice for tent campers. Internet can be good if you pay 3$ a day for a premium code. This is good for people who work remote. Pro tip for campgrounds. Install premium, premium internet for traveling professionals. We will pay for a good connection. Beautiful campground. We would definitely stay here again, we recommend it over a KOA any day.

Lorraine Campground at Harold Parker State Forest is one of the best camping locations in Mass.,…read moreespecially if you want to be in the woods and yet be close to civilization. The ~4000 acre forest has a dedicated entrance to the campground with several rangers assigned to it. The sites can be extremely spacious and isolated or be smaller and more social. It really is your choice. Safe swimming, fishing, bike riding, and hiking are abundant. The educational programs are posted, including weekly hikes, bike rides, and fishing lessons (they provide everything for novices). They even have a bonfire on Sat. nights during the camping season. The bathrooms are cleaned daily and are typically in excellent condition, including free showers and hot water. A donation is requested for the mandatory kiln-dried firewood ($5/bundle or $10/3 bundles). All sites have potable water. No sites have electricity. Alcohol is prohibited (and this is posted prominently). People who get caught drinking (typically because they are obnoxious) are asked to leave immediately. The state police barracks is just down the road, so help is nearby if others get rowdy. It is amazing to really be in the woods so close to Boston. Booking a site in advance online is highly recommended; walk-ins/drive-ups are permitted if there is space available. The fees are extremely reasonable ($12/night).

It was a very small serving, overpriced, and just okay in taste. Fun to try once, but not something I would repeat. The bathrooms were clean and there were plenty of seats available near the gates before my flight.

Exit the highway, drive past the parking garage and turn left onto Blue Hill Drive, and take the left on in where it says "Amtrak/MBTA Pick-up & Drop off". Either entrance at the end will work. While the left side is more direct and closer to the Amtrak counter, the right side will take you past the Dunkin Donuts. There's a waiting area, the bathrooms are by the elevator, and only two tracks. 1 is outbound, and 2 heads into Boston. Simple. Start heading out when they announce that your train is arriving, about 8 min in advance. Head towards the right if you are Coach bound. Take a seat and the conductor will scan your ticket code and tuck a paper ticket above you. Take it with you if you change seats. If you go past NYC, the crew changes, and every passenger gets scanned again. If you are ADA and need access to one of their accessible seats, there's a way to mention it when buying your ticket, so the conductor will save you a seat in advance. Two bathrooms are available at one end of the Coach car. If the light is on, the bathroom is taken and the door locked. These are roomier than those on airplanes. So are the seats, although they otherwise resemble those found in planes with the tables that fold down and seats that recline back. 120 volt plugs are available, but no screens and no headset jacks, so no music. Stops are announced, so it felt that communication was pretty good on the train and at the station. Coming back and arriving on track 2, we had to exit and head up and over the tracks, where we could go straight into the garage, or take the escalator down by Dunkin Donuts. There's an elevator as well, which will take you to the bathrooms.

Truly in Awesome how the crew is committed! The Spirit of Adventure must be overwhelming! Continuing my tour of the remaining Ships I did not get to board on Sunday today was the day! I took photos, chatted with guest who traveled far and near and shared conversations! My First stop after ( B.A.P. "UNIÓN" ) PERU TALL SHIP.....this day was The Tall Ship - ESMERALDA From Chile - The Special Cadet on Duty guarding the on board embarkation plank - gangway! Was instrumental in guiding and helping me! I took his photo to commemorate being on board this Tall Ship ESMERALDA. Thank you....We are Proud of you! I took my time and absorbed as much as I can by reading and photographing! I wanted to document this Historic Event! After my Ship hopping I went to the Official Sail Boston Merchandise and walked all around even going on the Ferris Wheel that was at the Event! But! Tonight at 9:15 would be the culmination of SAIL BOSTON 250, with FIREWORKS! As an end of this Event! I had the perfect viewing experience! FIREWORKS was such a nice touch! A little history, for over 30 years, Sail Boston has been the Host of over 500 International Tall Ships and Vessels and other coastal communities.
