this company is the best! the quality of work is a 10. i…read morehave an old house (over 100 yrs) and hired jason in 2015 to put new siding on it. i chose a vinyl shake, which was not as easy to install as standard siding. even though he had never installed this particular type of siding before (it has locking tabs both at the ends and the tops where each piece meets - it doesn't simply overlap like typical siding), he mastered it quickly. since the house is so old, nothing is perfectly square, but he made the house look like new. based on the quality of his work, i hired him again this spring to put the same siding (different color) on my small barn (also 100+ years old). he repaired or replaced all the rotted/damaged wood, put on a new door, installed new soffits, and installed the siding. beautiful job! and his prices are very reasonable, compared to other estimates. jason does the same quality of work on his jobs as he would do on his own house, and i respect that dedication to his work. no shortcuts and he only uses quality materials. i would absolutely hire him again and again, and would recommend his company highly. it is difficult to find service-oriented companies these days that truly provide excellent service, but consolidated construction is one of them.

We ordered both countertops and cabinets and had issues with both that required reordering. One cabinet was designed so that it did not allow for the plumbing for the sink- which was in place at measurement and should have been accounted for. Then they came for countertop install and realized they couldn't get the piece through the door and it would need to be cut , which requires the piece to be remade completely. If you want your project done right and on time, find another Cambria and Kraftmaid dealer.

The job felt rushed from the start -- one main installer plus an apprentice. A different technician later handled some fixes. Right after flooring completion in May 2026, we discovered a major undisclosed defect: a 2" wide x 30" long x 1/2" high transition strip at the toilet room entrance. It was purchased same day on-site at Home Depot with no prior discussion or approval. The doorway is standard and level, so a seamless floor was possible and expected. Even their distributor admitted such strips are no longer the preferred industry standard -- yet the company refuses to correct it. Nor will they answer detailed questions about what is exactly under the strip that makes it a requirement. As older adults, the raised strip creates a trip hazard in a high-traffic bathroom area. We have spent months seeking resolution through calls, emails, and formal complaints. They addressed a few minor items but stands firm on this major defect. We cannot recommend Baths R. Us.
