Within a minute, Dominic called me back and advised me that he would be able to come out that same day to fix it. As a mom, I was stressed because I didn't want my kids coming home from school with an unsecured door. Dominic was so professional and even asked me to text him pictures of what happened so he would know exactly what to bring and to make sure my door would be secured by that evening. Dominic even called me during the day and kept me posted on when he would be arriving. That is not something I see much anymore when you call someone for a repair. Dominic and his son came out, repaired my garage, and as a kindness even repaired my rubber seam and wood panel that was damaged! My father was an electrician by trade. After he began the installation, Matt notified me that one of my garage door springs was broken and that it had to be replaced before he could complete the installation of the new garage door opener. He recommended using a modern spring system that is commonly used rather than the obsolete Wayne Dalton ones that I had. The price for that repair was $530. Since I have a home warranty that would pay for most of that, I agreed to have Matt install the new spring system. Matt obtained the parts and installed the new spring system the same day. Total price was $805 for new door opener install, setup, and new spring system. I am very happy with the service, especially since I will receive a reimbursement check from the home warranty company. Now my new garage door opener works quietly and I can use the remotes once again. My kids can also get in now, something they couldn't do before. The Wi-Fi feature and app that came with my new door opener is the bomb - it tells me if the door is open or closed, who opened it and when, and I can control it from anywhere in the world, including my bed when I don't feel like getting up to close the door. I also scheduled it to automatically close the door if I leave it open at night. Matt was friendly, he worked quickly and efficiently, and he is an expert in his field.
