A few things I was looking for: - Creative + cinematic footage shot from different angles. - Usage of visual footage, music, and audio from vows/speeches to tell a story (which includes rising action and a climax). - Audience retention: keeping my viewers excited the entire length of the film (if the film was going to be 10 minutes long, I wanted my viewers to feel like it was much shorter since they were engaged the entire time, rather than doze off in boredom). - Overall I wanted someone to create a cinematic film rather than just a video. Vitaily from Aperina checked ALL of those boxes. After months of researching videographers, I only needed to watch 1 of his samples to know immediately that he was going to be perfect for us. We got a sneak peek of his work when he made us a short engagement / save-the-date film to send to our invitees.
