I had an appointment scheduled today at 12:00 PM for my three dogs. Natalie had mentioned that a helper would be coming to assist, though she thought she might only be able to do two dogs at a time. By 12:38 PM, no one had arrived, so I reached out to Happee Groomers via Messenger (the only method I've used to communicate with them). I received a quick response stating: "Katrina, we spoke with your husband. The groomer came in today with an eye infection, and all appointments had to be rescheduled." I replied that I do not have a husband and explained that I had rearranged my plans for the day based on this appointment. I also asked if I was speaking with a human or an automated system. I was told I was speaking with a person and that all appointments had been rescheduled, but that Natalie may have had me on her personal schedule. They offered to have Natalie reach out to me. I then asked for the representative's name, and she identified herself as Dakota, the Operations Manager. I asked how this situation occurred--specifically, how my appointment was not accounted for and whether it had ever actually been on the official schedule. Dakota responded that she had been trying to contact clients after learning that Natalie had a medical issue and was unable to drive. She acknowledged the situation, apologized, and explained that some things "slipped through the cracks," especially during a recent transition to a new booking system. While I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, the lack of accurate communication, the incorrect assumption about contacting a "husband," and the apparent failure to properly manage scheduling are unacceptable. Natalie was absolutely amazing. I can't speak highly enough. She was very communicative the day of services and let me know in advance she was running a little behind. My husband and I had no problem as we didn't have plans for the rest of the day anyways. I somehow made an error and only asked for two dogs to get groomed when I wanted all 3 to be done. Well thankfully, we asked if she could maybe fit in our third dog for grooming and she was able to! I was so so thankful as we just moved to the are and our dogs were very extremely overdue for a grooming. She was able to get us in within a week of me requesting and was super fast to respond. I think we have found our new groomer! Edit: added some photos of my 2/3 happy dogs! My 3rd one is happy he got groomed, just older and grumpier lol. Also plus side is Natalie has a punch card for her business so after a couple appointments you get a grooming free I believe! read more

We spent over a week conversing, answering all the questions about my dog's. Set an appointment time. Than was asked if I could make it earlier. I said no, if the time was not acceptable you shouldn't have accepted the appointment. They agreed to set time, which was 10:30 am yesterday 6/20. They never showed up, called, texted or emailed. They just ghosted. I would not trust your time or energy with the disreputable company. read more

This was a bizarre experience. I was first scheduled for an appointment between 1-2pm on Thursday. I got a call at 1:18 saying they were running late and couldn't make it until after 3. I said that was fine but I have an appt at 4:30 if that's okay. She says sure and that she was only 15 min away so when she was done she'd be there pretty quickly. I then got a call at 2:34 asking if she could show up after 5pm instead or reschedule for Friday. When I asked if we could still do around 3, she said that she was 40 minutes away (when she was 15 minutes away before??) and that she didn't want to drive through rush hour. I finally just asked what day and time worked for her because e she sounded clearly frazzled and distressed and she asked for Saturday at 9am. I said you had mentioned Friday before, you do you have anything available then and she said no even though she'd offered before. We confirm Saturday at 9am. It's now Saturday... I get a text at 8:43am that they're running 15 minutes late...then at 9:45 I get a text asking if she can call. She tells me she thinks she has an illness that prevents her from driving because when the sun hits her eyes, they get watery and she won't be able to make it today. Now, I really do hope Natalie is okay and healthy but this series of events feels like a red flag. Schedule with caution, I thought the reviews about being late or not showing up were one offs but I guess not. I've cancelled and will be looking elsewhere read more

They didn't show up for the appointment and didn't reach out until I ended up reaching out to them. She said she was so sick she was "unable to communicate" she also said she was still very ill but could come later in the day or tomorrow, but she's still super sick. She went on to say she had " the flu and strep" but she's can come later or tomorrow. With every excuse her illness got worse and worse. I'll find someone else. read more

I don't like leaving bad reviews on a small business but this situation requires feedback. We scheduled grooming on the 29th of November for 8 am on the website. They quickly texted and requested the time change to 11 am. We said that's fine. Our household also owns a small business and we cleared out our schedule so we could be home. We lost hundreds on missed job opportunities but our dogs come first. The morning of, two hours before our appointment they cancel saying the address is too far. They had verified the address at 6 pm the night before. We have used this company since May 2025. Our dogs only need a bath and nails trimmed, no full groom. We have not moved. They claim they moved and now they are 40 minutes away. The smart thing would have been from business owner to business owner is "Ok we've moved our location. We will come out this time but unfortunately this will be the last time we can service your pups since the distance has become too far. Thank you for all the past business." We are also in the pet service industry and have been for a decade and this isn't something I've ever seen done before. We respect the job of groomers tremendously. If this was an issue with one of our dogs being aggressive or something the groomer did not feel they could handle, that's a different story. A flat out cancellation because they moved and didn't realize how far we were from them is ridiculous. Have used many mobile groomers over the years. This grooming service was the worst all around experience. Showed up at my house when I did not have a appointment, looked at my dogs gave me a quote on cost. Then wanted to come again when I had no appointment. Then day before actual appointment said either cancel or change time. Arrives and both previous price quotes given in person start going up! Natalie is wonderful, very sweet and a good communicator. She showed up at our home exactly at the scheduled appointment time, in her fully equipped van. She did an excellent job of grooming our papillon, whose coat was quite long with some mats. He is an anxious dog when it comes to grooming and Natalie was very careful and gentle with him. He looks terrific after her skillful and patient grooming & tender loving care. We will definitely use her services again and also enjoyed meeting her assistant, Dakota. She deserves a gold star! In the beginning it was a little rough, but she had just started her business and there were some kinks to work out. I used Happee Groomers for 5 grooming's the first grooming she forgot to finish trimming Milo's back leg, so it was fluffier than the others. No big deal so I decided to use her again. The next two grooming's went well, and she did a good job; however, the fourth grooming didn't go so well as it seemed like a rush job. I scheduled an appointment over a week in advance for a Friday, but she requested to reschedule for Saturday. That was fine I said alright. The next day I texted her in the morning to see what time she was going to arrive, and she texted me back requesting to reschedule to Tuesday at 5 p.m. I said fine but honestly, rescheduling twice is not good business. The fifth grooming was another rush job, and she shaved Milo down too much and he was so itchy, possibly from razor burn. At that point I decided to go with a different groomer and my new groomer advised me and showed me that Natalie was not cleaning out Milo's ears and she was not brushing his teeth. She showed me the big mat of hair that was in his ear canal that she should have removed. I get Milo groomed almost every eight weeks so it should not have been that bad and his teeth needed a really good brushing. I was horrified and felt so bad for Milo. My new groomer actually said that "your last groomer is not good at her craft." My boy is my pride and joy and Natalie rushing through and purposely skipping over things that she said is part of the package and advertised as such is very bad business and not safe for the pet. Not cleaning his teeth and ears could've caused an ear infection or problems with his teeth. I'm so glad I stopped using Happee Groomers when I did. read more
