No one wants the anxiety of sitting in a cage watching everyone get a haircut. After reading the reviews, I decided to give Doggiessimo a try. Naturally Saturday's we're booked and I asked to be called if there was a cancellation or no show. They were super friendly and when they had a cancellation, did follow up. We've been loyal ever since. A heads up that you will definitely need to make an appt a ways out if you want a Saturday. Hopefully with most WFH during corona, it's easier to get an appt now. I have a Maltese Yorkie and she's on a 3 month schedule where she goes from Chihuahua to Wookie. I'm so thankful we found Doggiessimo!

No follow up comment. Only intentional condescension. I really do have thick skin, but I just found the lack of an actual response and lack of professionalism to be egregiously pretentious. I explained to her that I had been calling around all morning and excused myself for the slip of the tongue, I thanked her for her condescension and said goodbye. Take of this information what you will, but in my experience when a 15 second interaction (the fist 15, mind you) is all it takes for a potential client to take valuable time out of their morning (it's 9:22am) to leave you a 1-star review on yelp, you are a rinky dink business with rinky dink "adults" masquerading as professionals. In my experience, when a human's first instinct is fully and intentionally be condescending you while ignoring your polite request it doesn't bode well. I didn't write this review because I was offended by the immediate condescension to the first thing I said (an obvious and understandable slip of the tongue), but more so to let folks know my experience. Within 15 seconds I was left with ZERO confidence that they would care for my dog correctly and professionally. It's so hard to find good care for my dog, and I don't trust her with just anyone, and was reminded this morning that the industry is riddled with unprofessional amateurs. In this case, and my estimation, a self-absorbed novice. Take heed of the other 1 star reviews on here and they'll paint a clear picture of the person you'll be entrusting to care for your special loved one. We went to Amy for our 15-week old Bernedoodle puppy's first grooming experience…read more Positives: Amy obviously has a way with animals; Charlie came back from the session with his tail wagging, and he tried to run after Amy when she left! He smells amazing and his body hair looks great. She obviously made him feel comfortable. As you'd expect with mobile grooming, it was super convenient. She was also very communicative and helped us reschedule our appointment when our plans changed. The downside: We asked for very minimal trimming on his face, just enough so we could see his eyes again, and we lost a lot more fluff than we would've liked and are not a fan of his "haircut". All of his eyebrows are gone, and the blending around the face looks rough. I am sure this had a lot to do with him being a wiggly puppy, but we would've strongly preferred not to have this much hair removed in the first place, especially if the end result was going to be jagged. On top of this, I've found a lot of little snarls in his coat immediately post-groom, which is a little frustrating: we've been brushing him daily to prevent this, and his puppy fur hasn't been prone to tangling prior to this. Again, it's very possible he was getting too overstimulated for Amy to continue with brushing, but it would've been nice for her to tell us this. Overall, I think Amy is great for puppies and likely most dogs without a doodle coat, but I think we'll be going elsewhere for follow up visits.

With a vacation coming up, I was scrambling to find a groomer at the last minute. I was so lucky to find Stylin' Hounds! They're in my neighborhood and I've walked past many times and never stopped inside. They got me a grooming appointment within 24 hours, they even called and bumped up my appointment time even earlier. I have an American Bully mix who is a big goof but scares some people by the way he looks and they're weren't intimidated at all. By the end of it he came out shiny and clean with a beautiful bow. They were gentle and sweet to my old chihuahua-mix as well and put a cute little necktie on her. They were such a sight to see after their baths! I still love my regular groomer, but it's such a relief to know that should anything happen again that I have another option. I was thoroughly impressed with my visit.

I was extremely concerned how she would do at her appointment, I explained my concerns to Amber when I was dropping her off, she assured me if Sake wasn't doing well she'd stop. She took the time to call me and let me know Sake was doing well and had relaxed. Sake was a happy lil girl when I picked her up, more so than ever.
