Service at this place is horrible. Doesn't do any good to make an appointment, they are too busy trying to cram as many walk-ins as they can so you still have to wait. Made an appt for my daughter for prom, one of many appts for the day, told them when I made the appt we would be pressed for time. When we walked in, of course all their people were busy taking care of walk-ins and we had to wait. Their little pimp even gave me attitude when I asked how long we would have to wait. Take your business to a more reliable source if you don't have the luxury of a lot of time to wait. read more

The guy doing her nails got upset because she wanted her nails shorter than what he wanted & walked away after being rude to her(from my understanding he was the owner). He was gone for about ten minutes before returning. He was still uncomfortably mad so his coworker took over. He got up & turned the music off and it got awkward. You could feel tension in the air. So i turned Pandora on and blasted it. I was so mad that he had the nerve to be rude to customers. The lady doing my nails did a horrible job and I had to go elsewhere today & pay to have them redone. Three hours later we left once they finished unhappy & Very disappointing. read more

I had the worst experience at this nail salon. I will never go back and will inform everyone I know not to give this nail salon their business. I went to get a fill on my gel acrylic tip french manicure and left in tears with my nails destroyed, cut to the bone, with only clear polish on them. When I realized she had removed my tips and left barely a nail, I was shocked and said thats not what I asked for. She proceeded to raise her voice at me that is what I had asked for. My boyfriends daughter was also getting a manicure and looked up to see what was wrong along with the other customers and employees. I do not like confrontation and was mortified. Fighting back tears and with my hands shaking from being so upset, I paid $30 to have my nails destroyed and get screamed at. My mom insisted I give this place a shot. Tommy did my nails, and they came out great. I continued to return as Tommy's client. However one day I called to make an appointment and they told me Tommy went on "vacation" and they didn't know when he would be back. I needed my nails done so I just went with whoever was available. I got them done and they were okay, he filed them uneven, I had to ask them to make them straight. I went back a second time and Tommy still wasn't back from vacation yet, so again I went to whoever was available. This time was by far my worst experience. As she was doing my nails, they were burning very bad! Next I asked her to make them shorter, and she said it wouldn't look good, and she didn't think I should do it. I asked her to do it anyway, (I've been wearing my nails the same length for over a year now, and have NEVER had a problem before) she made them shorter like I had asked, but burned my fingertips with the file and my fingertips were raw for a couple of days. Needless to say I still wanted Tommy, so I called again 2 weeks later. They told me he was still on "vacation" So I asked, "does he still work there" they told me they didn't know if he still worked there or not. How do you not know?! So for a little over a month they had been lying to me the whole time, all in hopes of keeping a customer. Well, their dishonesty and poor technicians were the end of my experience. This place is HORRIBLE!!!! The "manager" Peter, that sits in the entrance was SO rude and did a poor job on my nails. He asked me when I sat down if I wanted gel and I said no. I realized he was adding gel on my nails by the time he was on the third nail and again, I told him that I didn't want gel. He huffed and puffed, threw the polish in the box and wiped off the gel with a dirty towel. He then started adding the nail polish without completely removing the gel. My nails were bumpy and still had chunks of gel under it. When he realized I was looking closely at my nails, he snatched my nail and removed the whole thing again. This time correctly. He then started adding the nail polish again and his job was worse than me doing it w/ my left hand. His attitude was soooo bad and I do not recommend coming with this guy. His work is half ass and I will NOT be returning. I've been to plenty nail salons but this was by far the worst experience. read more

So I was going to give one star but 2 of the girls and 2 guys are really nice. But they are always short staffed. This is why I finally gave it a review. I come often because of convenience it's close, but your going to wait and I have left more then a dozen times due to the long wait. They tell you 10 minutes no matter what. Come in with a friend or your daughter and you will be lucky if they start you at the same time or even sit by each other. They are also so tight on there product that they have it measured out with cups. There chairs need updating, big time. One time I asked to have a different chair for my coffee, purse and magazines to have a arm table. She said oh I'll move the chairs arms next to you. So I didn't move and I did have one side for my coffee and magazines to sit on. But then 5 minutes later they sat someone there. I had to hold everything on my lap then she gave me a stole for them. I didn't see why she just didn't move me one over like I asked. Nobody wants a chair that has no arm table if you carry a purse. I don't think I'll be going back my last 5 experiences were bad. Out of those 5 I actually got my nails done twice. My last visit I asked for me and my daughter together and even waited 30 minutes for that. Haha they finished my daughter and said okay your turn, I was like no I wanted to do it together. What's the point? read more

Always happy with my mani - pedis. Service is good. Salon is nice and clean. I always walk in and am taken care of quickly if not immediately. Very happy with Happiness Nails. I've had new nails put on a couple times, several fills, and several pedicures. I'm especially fussy with my hands, and with other salons I am rarely happy after 3 weeks, but with the work done here I can go 4 weeks between fills and I am not miserable. If you look through the reviews, you'll see the older ones are better. That's because this USED TO be an excellent salon. I went here for about 2 years, always for deluxe pedicures. One time Kim did a crappy job...figured anybody can off day and let it go. Next time was even crappier. The 8 minute hot stone part? Nowhere near 8 minutes, lukewarm stones and lackadaisical rubbing. Callus removal was equally poor and she managed to cut me while trimming nails. Hard to get anybody BUT Kim since she is married to one of the 2 guys who seem to be owners. The dude told me that when I made an appt, said anybody but Kim and they tried to foist her sorry self on me anyway. Both guys there also do services. The last time I went there, about 2 months ago, it was on a rainy and cold midweek morning. Said I had requested not to have Kim and was told she, by her husband that she was the only one available. The three of us were the only people in the shop. I left, decided I was sick of their standards or lack thereof and asked on the Next door app about others' recs for salons in the area. This is my first ever Yelp review. Don't generally write reviews, but Kim's "work" and management's attitude were sooooo bad, I decided to write this. read more

We called and asked how long the current wait is and was told about 30 min. So I grabbed my daughter and headed out. We live 5 minutes away. We checked in and there was only 1 person ahead of us and 5 being helped by 5 nail techs. As we waited and waited and 30 min went by and nothing someone 2 people walked in and were helped immediately because they knew the manager Peter. The people on the list ahead of us were mad asked what was going on and left. I asked how much longer and he said 20 minutes so we went and picked up a drink at Starbucks and came back and 20 minutes later were still waiting. There is another person getting helped ahead of us again because they made an appointment. Finally after 1:20 minutes and after I said I was leaving they finally had a tech finish. They shouldn't say it's a 30 min wait if they have appointments lined up. They should not be taking over an hour for a basic mani/pedi. I won't come back. They could have told me they recommend making an appointment specially since the lady that walked in and got helped had just made it 2 hours before on the same day. read more

I've been looking for a new nail salon for some time and I've found it! They were very accommodating even when my sister and I came in an hour prior to closing. I got a pedicure, which was amazing and a fill. I didn't get the name of the man who did my nails but he was so meticulous. He took a long time but it was worth it. He reshaped them into a coffin shape and fixed the sloppy work another salon did. I highly recommend this place! read more

I really want to give them ZERO stars, but Yelp won't allow it. I went to this nail salon on Friday, Sept.1 with my aunt and my sister, hoping to have a "girl's day out" of pampering and fun. Upon entering, we were dryly greeted by the man at the first station. We patiently waited for about 10 minutes, looking through menu of services offered and selecting our colors while we waited. I eventually asked the man, "About how long is the wait". He looked bothered at my question and simply replied, "I'll be right with you" in an annoyed tone of voice. I wasn't trying to rush him or anyone else, I simply asked the question out of curiosity so that we could have any idea of how much longer we had to wait. I replied to him, "Yes, but how much longer is the wait?". Again, he responded "I'll be with you". I said, "That's not what I asked, I just want to know how long the wait is going to be". NOT ONCE DID HE ANSWER MY QUESTION! He was working on some girl's nails and my aunt saw him and I heard him whisper something to the girl under his breath and they both started chuckling and laughing. Once that happened, my aunt asked me "Do you want to take our business somewhere else?" (of course, loud enough for him to hear). I told her, it was up to her, since we were treating her for a mani and pedi that day. Needless to say, we left and will never return! We ended up going to a salon by the name of "Lake Nails" and had an AMAZING experience! The owner and everyone else was so friendly and welcoming! When we entered, the owner immediately approached us after she helped the customer at the register and told us the wait would be about 15 minutes (we didn't even have to ask her)! I can't speak for the work that Happiness Nails does, because we unfortunately, weren't able to experience it, but if you are looking for friendly and professional customer service... My mom and I had an appointment at 1 pm. We arrived 10 minutes early so there wouldn't be a delay. It is now 1:20 and they said I had to wait 20 more minutes! Are you kidding me!!! Meanwhile they call people in that came in as a walk in because they know them! It's ridiculous!!!! My husband came out of work for his lunch break to watch our baby. I don't have time to wait!!! This place is called Happiness Nails and spa... But I did not find happiness at this nail salon. They will push you through like cattle! They don't care about customer service, if you don't like how your nails look they will get mad at you and treat you like they don't care if you come back or not! They will argue and raise there voice at you! I also found it was very expensive $77.00 for my basic pedicure and manicure nothing fancy. But if the customer service is good then it's worth it. But not so here! Bottom of the line. If you choose to go just remember don't complain, dont ask for them to fix something they messed up on no matter what you will see how you get treated.. Customer service is terrible. I have been coming here for years since it first opened up in the shopping center. Throughout the years it seems like they have become more rude as years went on. This last time I had gone in they told me it would be a 10 minute wait, which turned out to be 45 minutes. When I had asked for shorter nails due to the line of work that I do, the lady had told me what was the point of even getting them put on. Their prices are high and not even worth it at this point. Place is nice and clean. Went in for a fill and pedicure. My nails were previously done at a different salon. Staff is really great but the only reason I am giving 3 stars is because they charged me $33 to get a fill with gel. I feel I overpaid for that not sure if I would return for a fill but possibly return for full set from scratch. By the way it's only been a week and one of my nails already broke. And the reason why I was charge $33 was because they said they had to fix my nails because they were breaking off which I believe it is normal after you have them for 3 weeks and that's why it's called a fill. read more

Poor service and product. They do not stand by their work. On Wednesday I had a set of nails put on. One popped off on Friday. I went in on Saturday to have it replaced. I sat and waited for almost an hour while other customers having full sets of nails were assisted. When I asked how much longer I was told we are busy. Kind of crazy the bad reviews this place gets because I drive all the way from murrieta to have peter do my nails. He is honestly amazing and very friendly. I will admit that the wait does sometimes get extensive but, I was always late for my apt when I had to wait. Plus, since they are so busy I understood him having to start on someone else since people are so impatient and would of complained if he sat there for 10 minutes not working on anyone with how busy it is. You shouldn't go get your nails done if you are in a hurry. Every time I have gone there on time for my apt, I was in an out in about an hour. My nails are always great quality and if it's something I don't like, I say something and hE just says no problem and fixes it to what I want. You can't just sit there and see what there doing to the shape of your nails and not say something and then leave and complain about It. I'm 28 and look 23 and have always gotten great service from here and I appreciate it because it is hard to find people who treat people my age the same as they would treat my mom. It's kind of upsetting to read these review because I'm in there every 4 weeks and I have witnessed some VERY rude customers on multiple occasions. Take a look around, They only have like 7 people in there and they are all working on someone. It's not like they are just standing there making you suffer. They are working hard to please everyone!
