i've been coming to this nail salon for a couple of months now. Phong does a really good job and so does Ben. Yesterday both of them were busy so Duyem helped. I should've just told her i'd wait for one of the guys because she seemed rushed and made the dip powder nails very thick (they were dipped about 6-7 times) she didn't clean my cuticles either so the nails polish sat on top of my cuticles and came off as soon as i washed my hands and now there's a weird space under my nail all because she was lazy. shes done my pedicure before too and leaves bumps and lumps on the nails. idk if she just isn't talented or just hates her job, i really can't tell. read more

Went to get a mani and pedi and was so disappointed. The girl did an okay pedicure and the manicure was very disappointing. I had polish on my cuticles, she kept try to clean it up with a cue tip. I actually went back the next morning to have her take it all off my nails, manicure. I will not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I can no longer in good conscience recommend this place after my last experience. I need to pay better attention to what I'm doing because not everyone is honest. I hadn't been here in a while so I stopped in to get a mani pedi. I had asked her to give me change for $100 so I could pay in cash and tip, and I guess we meant 2 different things. I had assumed she brought me back the whole $100 and tried to count out my payment and tip. I was stressed, tired, hadn't eaten all day, and wasn't paying attention to what I had in my hands. I took $40 from the change she gave me, then grabbed another $20 from my wallet and another $3 to give her $63 total. I stupidly didn't realize she gave me back the difference (which I should've realized when I didn't have enough to pay and tip in my hand, but I get flustered when trying to do things in front of people). I didn't realize I paid twice and tipped until I got home and realized what I did made no sense after I finally ate and counted the cash in my wallet. I called the business and didn't say anything other than I was in earlier and paid twice and he told me to come in. When I got there, the owner already had his iPad out with a video of me even though he didn't know who I was. This tells me that he knew I had double paid and was ready to fight with me. While he showed me the video, he kept laughing at me and telling me what I was doing. I felt so humiliated as he called me a liar in front of other customers and kept laughing at me. He also accused me of not tipping enough. He said I only paid a $13 tip when I clearly have more than that in my hand that I give her and also I always tip in increments of $5 so that wouldn't make any sense. After a little back and forth, he throws up his arms in an X and basically tells me that it's over as if he's treating me like a child. I have never been so disrespected by a business owner in my life. To top it off, they threw what they claimed was my $13 tip at me and told me to leave. I didn't pick it up because it was so insulting. It's unfortunate because I did like this place previously. It hurts so much to be called a liar and humiliated when I made a tired mistake. Please avoid this place as they have questionable business practices, they're disrespectful, and they will lie to you. From other comments, it seems like this isn't the first time and it's no surprise they keep getting new owners. Also, my nails chipped the next day. read more

Nail polish is old or they mix it with different things to make it last longer. When you ask about the gel nail polish not lasting (white shades) owner attempts to make you feel like you've caused the issue. I ignored the fact that he tries to change the prices every time you go back but I'm completely over the dishonesty. Communication only caused another loud mouthed worker (of course nothing in English) to run her mouth and be in my personal space- luckily I'm well behaved. --don't be cheap when your rates are high and people tip well. read more

Went there for gel manicure and pedicure, with girls. The women staff was polite but they try to rush you. The guy who does manicure on the other hand is extremely rude. I wanted to get the French tips, and when he showed me the test nail to confirm if I liked it. I asked if we can change white tip with another color. The guy lost at that point and started saying things loudly in his native language. All the ladies started talking too. The guy continued to bicker and was visibly upset. He then asked which color we wanted to choose and literally threw the color chart at me. I felt extremely uncomfortable with his behaviour and it made me feel as if I committed a crime. It was very uncomfortable experience and I will never return here. One of the ladies was very nice though. She did a great job and was very polite. The two stars they are getting is because of her. The place is also not cheap either. $100 for gel mani-pedi. read more

I paid $135 for gel pedicure + hard gel manicure. I walked in on Saturday June 3rd and was happy to see that they could take a walk-in. Staff was wonderful! Although, I'm really disappointed that my GEL POLISH started to peel & crack on Monday the 12th. It's now Thursday and I've had to file down 3 nails because the entire tip of the polish was peeling. What a waste of money. I've never had this happen with gel. The pedicure is in tact but not my manicure. I stopped in here on a Wednesday before the Thanksgiving holiday because it seemed to be the only place taking walk ins nearby. I initially had my doubts, but upon walking in they disappeared. The salon was very neat and presentable and they had a host helping with customer service and he was very nice and helpful. I had a pedi, gel mani, and eyebrow wax all under $70! Wow. I loved the service and cleanliness was to my standards. They only reason a give 3 stars I stead of 4 is because my gel started chipping and separating two days later. Maybe this was due to my tech's technique or the particular quality of that bottle of polish. Not sure but I will be back to try this place again. read more

I have come here off and on for a long time. This is definitely the cleanest, nicest nail salon in the area (PV included). The owner runs a tight ship and wants customers to leave happy with their service. She is also an excellent esthetician. Recently I decided to start having some fun with my nails and have been happy with the creativity. There are a couple people in particular here (Justine and Paul) who do really exceptionally good manicures. I wear my natural nails but the ladies I have seen getting acrylics there look great too. We were a party of 3, 2 mani-pedis, & one manicure... 1st of, i don't go to these places to get treated like a queen, so to anyone complaining I honestly don't know what you expect. The main person (manager/owner), she was very direct, opinionated, curt, & a bit of a bulldozer. I don't know anything about nails, so even if I have an idea of what I want I always take into consideration their professional opinions. 2nd, one of us was late & they were very welcoming & willing to take her in late. 3rd, they were very organized & it seemed they were following safety protocols during this pandemic. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because I thought more work could have been done on my nails, for example filing more evenly and/or removing and cleaning excess polish or nail clippings from under the nail.
