I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience warrants one. I've visited this nail shop several times without issue, but my last visit a few weeks ago, was very different. The vibe was not as friendly but the main issue is that, after my gel manicure, one finger--where the technician removed the cuticle before I asked her to stop--became extremely swollen and painful. It appears the tool may not have been properly sanitized, leading to a major infection. I had to see a doctor for medication, and it is still healing. I've tried contacting the shop multiple times to speak with a manager, hoping to resolve this directly, but no one has returned my calls. This is especially disappointing since I've referred friends and family here. I even brought some along with me last time. Unfortunately, I won't be returning and cannot keep recommending this place. read more

I walked in without an appointment and I was greeted very warmly. The place is clean, decorated very nicely and a large selection of nail polish colors. They have new jacuzzi tubs for pedicures. The touch massage feature on the chairs makes your stay very relaxing. There was not a smell of acetone that some nail salons have. Lily was very sweet and friendly and she did a great job. This has to be one of the worst manicures I've ever received. I have been here in the past for a gel builder manicure but this was a terrible experience. It took an hour and 45 minutes. She destroyed my cuticles, made me bleed multiple times, and continued to drill my cuticles down to the point where I had to tell her to stop. I will never be returning. read more

I've come here a few times to get my natural nails done. The first couple time went really well. Everything went downhill when I requested to get the powder dip that was supposed to have a marble look. Apparently they forgot to mention that it cost more and that it doesn't come with a massage or even lotion. It also didn't look anything like the nail example when you choose from the book. I was a little annoyed but the set didn't look bad. My recent experiences have been awful. Last month, I got scammed into a gel build up after I kept repetitively saying that I only wanted regular gel because I was nervous about ruining my natural nails because I had to have the powder removed since I hated how it was previously done when it looked no different from a regular gel set. Anyways, I wanted to like them so bad because I live close by but I can't justify my current visit. I went back in, I got the gel buildup removed and I already knew that my nails could potentially be done for. I had grown them out and I knew that all my hard work was ruined. I usually get my nails done by Eric but both times was by two different nail techs. The one that did the set in the pictures is Chloe. I could tell she wasn't as experienced but she seemed to be doing a pretty good job until I realized that she didn't tell me that my nails were weak beyond repair and that I should cut them. Instead she was going to have me walk around with nails that easily bend. I felt too bad to have her cut them and in hindsight I should have because she told me that putting soft gel on for now would make them feel stronger until my next set and I can cut them off. Also, she couldn't do my French tip design and Eric ended up finishing them anyways. Two days later, my nails ripped off. I can barely do anything without them bending. I didn't feel cared for on any of my nail appointments. I always felt like it was rushed. They never ensure comfort and satisfaction. I don't even get a massage anymore. The atmosphere doesn't feel nice. Unfortunately today will be my last day going and it sucks but nails are too expensive now to be getting a half assed job. Update!!! I went to get my set redone and they wouldn't do it at all and said they couldn't. When I asked why they couldn't give a valid reason and the guy said they rather refund. The girl who did my nails incorrectly was giggling and didn't say anything to me when she was the one I was corresponding with the whole time about my concern and she said they would be redone. They wasted my time and made me feel like I was asking them for something irrational. I don't recommend this place at all. read more

I came to this nail salon with high expectations after seeing good reviews. With this location being in a nice neighborhood, I expected superior quality, attention to detail, and a positive experience. I came in for a gel pedicure and was seated right away. The lady who first worked on my nails spoke little to no English and it became clear to me after I asked her to not cut my big toe nails. She proceeded to cut away anyways. Then she began to polish my nails but was getting polish all over the skin... I thought, ok that can be easily fixed, no problem... well, she happened to not paint on a corner of a nail and after I told her, she did... I can tell she tried but she was inexperienced and did not do the best job.... Shortly after she finished I asked her to clean up the polish on my skin and she began trying.. then, who I assume was her boss came over, said something to her, sat down, and began taking off the nail polish. I didn't even say anything but I thought to myself how right I was thinking my nails were not looking professionally done. I am super grateful for the Second Lady because she cleaned up the mess that was previously made.. I'm wondering if the First Lady was even licensed because I don't believe there is anyway she would have passed the test after experiencing what I experienced. Trust the reviews--he was fantastic and introduced me to some new options. I'm usually a Gel-X girl but recently decided to go natural with my nails. After years of getting my nails done, I thought I needed builder gel, but Eric suggested dip powder instead. It's been almost three weeks now, and I haven't had any issues. By now, my natural nails would typically be cracked or chipped, but I have no complaints. I can't speak for anyone else in the salon, but if you love getting designs, extensions, or anything beyond gel polish, book with Eric. Walked in day b4 to schedule an 11:00 am appt. following day.I go in for appt and have 3 workers bombard me asking do u have appt,what do u want done. I stated its on book what I requested.
