Holy cow delicious! Yummmmy! Shaved meat in my clubhouse Sammy with perfect bacon, fresh iceberg lettuce and tomato salt and peppered. Choice of 3 cheeses. Toasted to perfection. With a side of Mac salad which was delicious! French fries were 'hot damn' good! The husband had the classic burger. Very good was his rate. That he added very means it was really tasty. Comes in a bag to get your hands into. I love it. Sodas are canned with a cup of ice. Bathroom is clean and just what we needed. The decoration is eclectic 50's, 60, 70's mix and the lovely lady behind the counter was sweet and just a breath of fresh air. The gentleman who made my sandwich was engaging and came by both he and her to make sure we were enjoying our food. Yes! We were! Did I say the Sammy is huge? Well it is! Just opened in Feb 2023. The place is cool. Has a Bob's Burgers book here that hilarious. Small inside but clean. People here are real cool and fun sense of humor. Super friendly. I'm a bit of a burger snob, and this place makes a good burger. It's not In n Out or Shake Shack, but the bacon burger has a good bun to meat to cheese and veggie ratio. Good flavor, especially the onion punch. They put more than just salt and pepper on their patties. And just messy enough to really make you hang onto it. I'll be back tomorrow haha. Been waiting to visit this place for a while as I'm on the Mountain every other weekend... Only problem is, they are closed on the weekends. Luckily I was staying in town for the weekend and came up on a weekday and got to experience this place. Burgers were Amazing!! Huckleberry Lemonade was perfect. Onions Rings with Fry Sauce, YUP Has this lil nifty diner feel with an open kitchen. Super nice people running this joint. This place is amazing! I don't know why I waited so long to go! Food was delicious and atmosphere was very friendly. Today was a good day for a cheerful pick me up. Lost my aunt Julane this morning, and my daughter took me to lunch here and heard a bunch of songs while there that evokes memories with my dad, who we lost almost 20 years ago. The food is amazing! I work for elderly clients who have me pick them up food from there all the time. They love it too. It's new and all remodeled like an old school diner. The kitchen is open so you can watch your food being made. Owners are very friendly. It's always a pleasant experience. It being family owned and ran makes it even better! Definitely worth trying! The restaurant's staff was friendly, there is indoor and outdoor seating, and they have a nice kids' menu. There's more than one great burger place in Oakridge along Hwy. 58, so let me just say that Happy Belly Burgers is one fantastic burger option in the mountain town. My family really enjoys having burgers and fries, and especially enjoy the Philly Sandwich. They have a great selection for meat eaters, but the vegetarian choices are a limited. That doesn't stop me, as I really enjoy their tater tots and macaroni salad. The Jalapeno Ranch and Fry Sauce are a must! In a little town where we're limited to a handful of restaurants, it's nice to have such a wonderful establishment to visit. I wouldn't consider the quality better than fast food. Aside from them taking some ground beef and thinly pressing it on a grill - everything else (the few things they serve) are prepared frozen foods from chef supply or Costco - tots, poppers, and fries. They DO NOT sell traditional milkshakes - which is surprising in my opinion due to it being a burger joint. Based on menu items served, food quality and front end service - It's more of something you'd expect to be served at a bar. read more
