I had been searching for a wedding dress for months and even had one made out of the country that didnt work out. I found a couple of contenders two months away from my wedding...I know!!! I called around and spoke with Elie on the phone told him what size i wanted it in,,,, no other bridal shop had attempted to locate the dress in such short notice. Elie went to work right away and within the hour he called me back and would have the dress shipped to him overnight!!!!! I would not recommend getting your wedding dress so late, but my situation was unavoidable. They were extremly lovely people and so helpful. When I would come into the shop for my fitting they treated me like family, and so helpful.. They could teach Ft. Lauderdale about customer service!!!! Excellent selection of dresses! I had a wonderful experience at Happy Bride. First of all, I loved their honesty and commitment to good customer service. When calling for my appointment they could not give me my first choice of time. They explained they had a big group coming that morning and they wanted to be able to assist me properly. I came when they suggested, and it worked out perfectly. Not only the bridal consultant, but also the manager, helped me pick out dresses and try them on. They doted on me, and it made me feel special. My family and friends got to relax and enjoy the fashion show of dresses. I appreciate their knowledge, professionalism and expertise as well as the fun and relaxed environment they create for the store. I came here hoping to find a dress for an extremely close date. Nurit was who helped me with finding the dress of my dreams! I thought I knew what I wanted until I came here! I would've never picked my dress out to try on, on my own! She really helped me find what I needed for my body type, because I am six months pregnant and thought that it wasn't possible to find something that was flattering on me. The dress that I loved was three sizes too small but in just three days the seamstress Marina was able to alter the dress to fit me! Not to mention they were able to take the dress' price down to fit into my budget! I needed a dress in two weeks and they made that possible and I cannot thank them enough! Not to mention my mother also got her wedding dress here 27 years ago at their first location! So I'm the second generation in my family to have found my dress with happy bride! I was very excited about going to Happy Brides after my best friend and sister both found their dress there. When i arrived i was hoping to see the dresses i found online and they had one. The customer service was awful. She didn't seem interested and got frustrated when i didn't like the dress, she kept trying to give me the same type of trumpet dress that i didn't like, she didn't give me shoes or a anything. When i mentioned my wedding was at my sisters house, she seemed even less interested and said oh, in a wierd way. My appointment was at 12 and we were done by 1230. I would not recommend this place. Soon after i went to Davids bridal, they gave me shoes, a slit, a bra and i found my dress! read more

I wish there was a zero star review! I went with my sister and niece and nephew. The man was very nice who greeted us, but the bridal consultant was extremely rude! She first started out by telling me I was not allowed to take pictures of myself in the gown. If I wanted a picture I can look at the picture in the catalogue. Most brides when they shop want a picture of themselves in their potential wedding dress, that's the whole point to go dress shopping. All the important people in my life that are helping me pick out a dress unfortunately are living afar and can't come with me for dress shopping so a picture is all I have. Plus a picture of a perfect model in a dress in a catalogue is going to look completely different then me in a dress! As we were looking on the racks for a dress the bridal consultant's body language looked very impatient and annoyed; she proceeded to say to me " are you just LOOKING today or are you going to buy something?" I felt like this was a scene straight out of pretty woman! I was completely taken aback and was in complete and utter shock to be spoken to in this manner! I am potential client who was ready to drop thousands of dollars on a dress, alterations, accessories, I have a bridal party who also needs proper attire and to be treated in this manner is not only bad customer service but is completely inappropriate! Save your money and time and go elsewhere. It's a shame I had such an awful experience as my sister bought her wedding dress there over a decade ago! Horrible, horrible! I would never recommend this place. I happen to be a "larger" bride. But not outrageously large. Besides that, the lady took one look at me...didn't ask me a single question and said, "mami, the problem is we don't have anything in your size." She knew nothing about me, my size nothing. We came 10 min before the store was closing and I spoke 3min with the sale representative who was so eager to close the store that she refused to answer my question regarding the dress I was looking for. She kept saying that they are closing in 5 min in a very rude manner. The dress selection are not better than a customer service. So don't waste your time with people who don't want your business. read more

I'm getting married in April and my mom and I were in search of a mother of the bride dress. This place was recommended to my mom and I from one of my bridesmaids. We had looked online for dresses from major department stores and were getting to go do some actual in person shopping when we decided to stop by Happy Bride first and see what we could find. We were happy from the moment we walked in! April, the store front salesperson greeted us so friendly, the entire staff was just amazing making my mom feel so special making sure that every detail was perfect! The owner came out to help us in making sure that my mom gets the exact dress she wanted to make her feel beautiful and comfortable on our special day. Each person was delightful and so caring and attentive to my mom's needs. Overall it was an amazing experience in every sense of the word! I have lived in Miami my entire life, but I've never been a mother of the bride. On a recent trip back from the airport, I was not the driver and I saw a sign that said Happy Bride. Well.....after going to about 6 Bridal salons in New York City, walking the entire Miracle Mile full of more Bridal shops I decided to try my luck at Happy Brides. I was pleasantly greeted by Nurit, and almost passed out when I saw not 1 but about 6 dresses in the color my daughter chose for her wedding party. Merlot.. not bright red or deep wine but Merlot. (like the wine) I was unable to find a dress, but my mother did and it looks fantastic. Nurit was so honest while we tried all 6 on. She was right on point with our final selection. She was able to have her seamstress come right into the fitting room and start the alterations process. I am so thrilled to have found this amazing Bridal Shop!!! It was right in my backyard and I didn't even know it. Thank you so much Nurit. I now have a "happy bride" because her grandmother will be the belle of the ball at her wedding! read more
