I had Lisa for a neck and shoulder massage. It was extremely rough and not relaxing. I even asked her twice " softer" softer. She took the ricks and beat me in the neck. I don't always have the time though to spend all day there so when I am just feeling anxious, or need to relax and need a good massage I come here to happy Buddha. Self care is so important and finding time for a massage to work out sore muscles and aches as well as give myself either 60/90 min of no talking and just breathing and being grateful for this time is a must! Alright so always call and make an appointment- going to a place and expecting a massage and looking forward to it to only be told "sorry we can't take you" is heartbreaking! If you're on a budget get the regular massage. It's 30 min back and neck and then you flip over and sit in a recliner and they do foot and legs for the other 30. That will run out about 40 dollars. If you want more of the neck and back you can lay down on a table and get 30 min and then go out to recliner for the foot and legs. I like the table massage because once I lay down I don't want the massage to stop! So I get the full body usually 90 min but they offer 60 min for 50 dollars! Now keep in mind this isn't the Ritz Carlton but come on a massage is massage! I'm always so happy when I leave here and they do a phenomenal job everytime! So let's start with making the appointment, I was told this location is next to hobby lobby however since I'm not from the area, I was lost. It's actually next to GMC and a poke place. I did the combo for 2 people (foot and body) $40 which is not bad at all, They put us in a private room which was great and there was privacy. During my massage my masseuse kept burping, it was absolutely disgusting I did not like that. It was like a really bad burp and it continued throughout the massage. And the burp wasn't like a oops I'm sorry burp, it was like a Shrek burp. Whatever I ignored it. And then she farted. WHAT THE HECK. I'm a new customer. This is gross. Time for the foot massage, it was in the lobby? No privacy. Very close to other people. Which I thought was super weird. I'm trying to enjoy my foot massage, CANT. Main door is open because i don't know why. It was loud. Two girls were checking out, this place has an ATM- DO NOT TRUST IT. Literally heard everything, one of them got charged, gave her the cash whatever. Second girl, got charged, no receipt given and NO cash given. I was shocked not only for overhearing since there is no privacy and lack of help from the front desk person. Time for the checkout, I paid in cash because I was told cash is preferred. I actually went to the atm prior coming. GLAD I DID. You get what you pay for... Went for a full body massage and my 'masseuse' came in while I was still getting settled on the bed so my chest was exposed. He just came in without knocking to check. I should have seen that as a red flag. Then he proceeds to massage me, which felt more like pinching, with way too much pressure and had to keep reminding him it was too much while wincing because it hurt! He was continuously burping the whole time and he placed my arm on his leg, which was so uncomfortable so I moved my arm and he laughed. I was ready to call it off and totally should have. He was kneading over my shoulder blades which left me bruised for 2 days after. They use olive oil to massage you, lol. And they use it just to rub down your body, not really massaging. You can see the big bottle on the table from Costco. I should have snapped a photo. And the wannabe chiropractic practices of trying to crack my body just made it seem like he was trying to peak under the sheet. He was definitely bordering the line of sexual harassment but with the open rooms with no privacy and being able to hear everything, there's not much he can get away with. My family loves to come here. They are su amazing and not overly expensive. They have always done a great job. Another visit down in the books over Spring Break. They take walk ins but over the years have gotten very busy. I suggest calling to make your appointment. They have 2 locations but I actually didn't find the service as good at the other location. I suggest the on on Ynez near Hobby Lobby. I believe it's cash only and also don't forget to tip well. They definitely deserve the good tip. Wear something loose for a shirt and make sure to wear shorts or sweat pants that pull up easily. The chair foot massage with the extras is the same price as foot only. My wife and I called to make an appointment for 7:30 pm, and was able to make it the day before. When we arrived the area was dark, the facility was dark, of course it was 7:30 at night, but it just seemed all dark. We were greeted almost immediately, and revived the 60m combo message, which was head, neck, shoulders, back, and feet. I received a deep tissue, which was not asked for just given, and I did not have a problem with it, as that's what I usually get. I could see how someone that isn't used to deep tissue, the pressure he provided may not be their cup of tea. We were in an open room, with 6 oversized chairs. The therapists wanted our shirts off, which I did not expect since it was in a "community" room. Started sitting, and then leaned against a foot rest with your face on the foot rest which they put on the chair. The only problem with that is it feels like you're going to break your nose with the pressure when the therapist does your neck, and it puts your body in a hunched over position which isn't the most comfortable. It was a good message overall for the price. We also added on the hot stones which were really hot, and different. I don't think I have ever received a hot stone message but it was different. The atmosphere was interesting as they left the front door and back door open, you can hear the traffic but was drowned out but the message music. There is a lot of chatter from the employees as well. My wife said her pressure was deep as well, and she had a good experience. With her they provided a tube top for her to put on. Overall I still feel like it was decent for the price, will probably come back. read more

Wow.... We have visited many foot massage spas across the country and up and down the coast of California. Our experience here was the best by far. We called in for walk in capability at 8:00 am, the call went to voicemail, so I hung up without leaving a voicemail. Surprisingly, we received a warm and pleasant call back about ten minutes later. We were graciously greeted upon entry. We selected the basic foot massage. The lady I received did an amazing job on my back. She took out knots I did not know I had (while I was in the seated position. The following foot massage was heavenly. The only sad part of the journey was being gently put to sleep by the outstanding massages. Sad because I was not awake to experience. My subconscious self was treated to a rare and welcomed experience. Even the background Chinese Flute music was wonderfully relaxing. ***Cue Mariah Carey's "Touch My Body"*** DAMN!! This place is STILL LEGIT!! I've driven by once or twice since covid started, and of course it was closed. With the ban having been lifted recently, I decided to call in and see if they were open. The lady who answered was really sweet, and said they close at 9pm. Cool! I wasn't sure if I would have time but once I found they closed pretty late, I was ALL IN! Texted a buddy to see if they wanted to tag along...called the lady back and made our appointment for 5pm. It's located right next to Poke 'n Salad on Ynez across from TJMaxx and other retailers. We arrived about 12 minutes late, but they didn't say anything about it. The lady had a bottle of hand sanitizer and put some on our hands. She then took our temperatures. Good to go, so we were escorted to our room. She asked if we were cold, and I was a little, so she put us in the back room. There was a little heater in the corner which she turned on for us. That was nice and I appreciated it. She left us to undress and hop on the tables face down. I'm a lot smaller than when I first came, so the size of the towel wasn't an issue this time around. The room is small but the two massage tables fit nicely side by side. There is a wall unit where you can put your clothes and other belongings. After a few minutes (and of course when I was done getting my pics, lol) she came back in with her partner and the two of them got to work on us at the same time. Susan hit my trouble spots just right and I moaned a couple times...no shame in my game!! LOL! She felt my knots and kinks and got all that lactic acid build up out. Maybe I need to chill out on my workouts?! All I know is, I said "Oh my God!" once, and "Oh my goodness!" another time, lol. She did a great job using long strokes with her arms and elbows, and busted out some oil toward the end. That oil rub down was true heaven! I still keep my undies on during a massage, but heck, I think this place is worth going commando for!! Best believe I will on my next visit! I also got the same butt rub like last time, and it was a bit ticklish but very relaxing (keep singing with me... "Touch my body, Know you like my curves, C'mon and give me what I deserve"). She mostly worked above my waist, and did everything from my back, arms, hands, shoulders, neck and all the way up to my scalp. That scalp massage felt so good! She did a quick massage on my legs and ended with a hot towel on my back along with a rub down over it. This was the end of the first half hour "body massage." When we were done, we got dressed and headed out to the foot massage area. The same plush recliners remain, each draped with fresh towels. I got comfy and rolled up my leggings above my knees. Susan tucked me in with one of those soft and cuddly blankets you get from overseas. There was a bucket of hot water where you put your feet in to soak for a minute or two. After that, she started working on my legs and feet. I fell asleep for a bit because it was dark in the room, and her hands were doing some serious magic! They did not offer the barley tea this time around, but that's probably due to covid. When it was over, she let me take my time getting my shoes back on. Bottom line: if you want a great massage at an affordable price, COME HERE!! Or don't...so it won't be so busy that I can't get in, haha! Kidding, but not! Price increased by a dollar from last year but hey, I will happily pay $40 for a 1 hour combo massage! This is one of those hole-in-the-wall places, so you know for sure it's good. Plus I said so, so there's that, lol. If you're used to those fufu joints, this may not be a good fit for you. I don't care if you don't have a certificate, degree, whatever...if you have magic hands and can deliver what I need, we are going to be friends and Susan is my friend =). I paid about 3x more at a fancy place in OC a few months ago and it was nowhere near what I got here. Very highly recommend this place! Maybe I'll get to be crowned Duchess one day...heehee...stay tuned! =P ETA: They do a great job with covid protocols here. Everyone is masked and as I sat down for my foot massage, they were on top of things! They wasted no time and stripped our massage tables down and took the sheets to the laundry room. I had high hopes for this massage place and i was seriously let down. I called Tuesday afternoon for a 6pm appointment. I showed up at 6pm and was told to wait. There was alot of confusion amd yelling between the employees. I waited til 620pm amd then was directed to a chair, at 625pm, a women bought water tub to soak my feet. At 630pm, she came over and stated my massage. Throughout my massage she left multiple times and coughed throughout the massage. Three people constantly talked to each other the whole time. At one point, she was talking on the phone during my massage. She promptly ended my session at 720pm and I didn't even get my full hour. I ended up paying $55 with tip for a shitty masage. Do not recommend this place or maybe it give it a go on the weekend. Maybe Tuesdays are not good days for them. read more

Massages are usually great and worth the raised prices. I had to get a table massage because the chairs were full but it ended up being wonderful. You have to be vocal about the pressure. They can be very rough. My daughter had the combo in a chair and didn't get a great experience. Too much pressure in neck and shoulders and barely any on her feet. I do miss the old location. Really horrible experience. I had a long week, just wanted to relax. I asked for a 30 minute massage. My masseuse started on my feet, and it was so soft and delicate that it's almost tickled. I asked if we could just focus on my back and shoulders since that was the reason I came in in the first place. They said they were going to charge me an additional five dollars to not include my foot massage, I reluctantly said OK. Still unsure of why I would have an additional fee for removing a service. My masseuse, then started on my shoulders, and again it was really bad. Just lackluster and on top of all of this they kept insisting I lay my face onto a dirty couch and used pillow without any new cloth over it.
